A truly beautiful spot! just the right size to keep an eye on your dogs while they run themselves tired. It was a half acre sandy soil riding arena now converted. We’ve planted 3 weeping willow trees and they will grow quickly to provide even more shade to the grassy area. But rest assured, there is tons of shade and trees all about the doggie park and the rest of the property and along with all the trees comes the birds, so constant singing and tweeting…. It’s quite serene. 2/3 (the center of the park) is irrigated grass… we have a large scratching post and sprinklers And or a pool available for hot days. See extras some days you might luck out because if someone else pays to fill the pool, we won’t immediately drain it for a couple days unless someone else purchases the freshwater. So you may have a slightly used pool to use at no charge.. And if you do pay the $11 to fill it fresh.. you feel good that maybe someone else and there doggies will get to enjoy it beyond your use. —- A paw it forward gesture We have a dig site now, featuring both fresh sand and separately a clean dirt mound. We find half of the dogs prefer the sand and the other half prefer the fresh dirt mound. We also have a dry rock River bed featuring a few scarlet sage plants (non toxic aspca) and many of the dogs like to sniff around there and walk over the smooth rocks. We use the perimeter of the park like a walking track to get in our steps, you are welcome to do the same. There are several seating options, very comfortable chairs spaced in a couple areas or even a couple pool style recliners. We have some things that you may want or need to use from time to time such as insect repellent, sunscreen spray, first aid kit, etc There are 2 indestructible tables in the area if you need a place to set your coffee or would like to get some work done We have some Wi-Fi service available via Starlink and seem to maintain speeds around 15-25mbps, which is not so bad for our rural setting. We are actually just a very short distance from Ripon, Manteca and Tracy (off Kasson Rd and Airport) about 7 or 8 minutes into the country from the Bass Pro Shop in Manteca. only about 20 minutes from Modesto via Ripon and Ripon Road / Jack Tone We will continuously improve the park and maintain and upgrade as use allows. *** Our most recent additions include a restroom within the park perimeter and we now offer self-service snacks and drinks via Venmo, PayPal or Cash. 100% of the snack purchase Donations go directly to the PAW it Forward Sanctuary, NON Profit 501c3 Rescue. Park is open from dawn until dusk. Dogs must be leashed when entering or leaving the safety of the Dog Park. Dogs and children must be accompanied by an adult. Maximum of 3 dogs per adult. Hello! We’re just getting started hosting with Sniffspot and are excited to host you! Please let us know what we can do to improve the space. A past guest let us know we needed better signage, so we got a bright blue sign printed and hung it on the fenced area. Another guest mistook the community garden (incompletely fenced) for the play area (completely fenced). If you see vegetables, the area is not completely fenced! You're welcome to explore, just be respectful of the gardeners and plants please. The avocado tree overhanging the play area is dropping fruit right now, so if your dog likes to eat random stuff on the ground please be careful! The play area is tucked between St Stephen’s in-the-Field Episcopal Church and the left hand fence (turn from Santa Teresa Blvd onto Avenida España, then take the first right and head to the back). There are two churches on the lot, ours is at the back, with ample off street parking and lots of gardens to explore, in addition to the enclosed play space. Feel free to message with any questions!

We had the best time with our Great Danes! This location is perfect for our big boys to stretch their legs-plenty of open space to run and explore. They ran that track like they were horse!!! We loved seeing the llamas and goats, and the “doghouse” room and separate restroom was a standout feature not expected for us humans!! This was our very first Sniffspot and it exceeded our expectations. Thank you Jeff, much appreciated and we look forward to returning soon!!

This was our first Sniffspot and it exceeded our expectations! Our pups had the best time exploring PAW Forward Doggie park. Our hosts greeted us and explained all the utilities that we could use. One thing that we loved about this dog park was that it was on a ranch and there were other animals that we could see from afar such as llamas and goats! The book nook was also a great touch where one can sit on a couch read a book while they watch their fur babies go! This was a safe and sanitary spot for our dogs and we had so much fun.

We were having our Dog Christmas party this year for guaranteed dog training with 14 dogs and 11 people. This was the best choice we could’ve made for a whole day of fun with the dogs! Everything was perfect here, There’s even a bathroom there’s a little area to get out of the weather if you want to like a little library in it to relax in bed for the dog to relax. We had our barbecue, we had lunch, we had playtime, We had swimming time, We had chase the RV car time, We had For the year everyone get on the log time, And lots of chasing the balls And each other! O.M.G!!! This is our new favorite Sniff Spot!! The location is very easy to get to as the host has created clear signs along the way indicating how to get there and where to park. As soon as we arrived, we were greeted by the host who was extremely kind and welcoming. This family has gone above and beyond to make sure you and your dogs have the BEST time. The park is very clean and well maintained. No goat heads, itchy pokey weeds- very manicured. The fence is secure with no spots for dogs large or small to crawl under or squeeze through. There were attractions such as toys, obstacles, pool, digging area, and rest stops. There were little drinking water buckets along the fence, emergency kits, potty bags, and treats. My dogs never got bored! This spot is very comfortable for people to enjoy as well. There is a bathroom, snack area with fridge, nook/rain room in case of rainy days, and a bbq/picnic area. We absolutely enjoyed our stay and highly recommend!

We tried this sniff spot out mid rain and it still lived up to its hype. It had been raining pretty hard for a while but the drive and parking was still very easy. If you’re thinking about visiting during a rainy day, your car won’t get stuck and there is plenty of dry flat area for parking. The book nook was quite cozy and large enough for all 3 of us. I love that the nook has clear glass so that you can still watch your dogs play if they would rather still run around. We also utilized the snack bar. It was so cute and convenient. Rainy days can be kind of a bummer, but this place allows you to still be active with your dogs without sacrificing comfort. I highly recommend, even during rainy days.
