Hello! I'm Patrick. All dogs are welcome to my private dog park! There is shade near the edges of the yard by the trees. Comfortable areas for you to relax while your dog plays. The water hose is next to the A/C unit. Feel free to use the outdoor amenities. We have some bug spray, etc. for your use. You can park up front on the U-shape driveway. Please enter the park through the gate to the right, next to the column.

Fully fenced in yard to run around in! Play fetch, frisbee, or work on some agility tasks! Gate located off driveway, table and chairs to relax at while the pup plays. Available agility equipment are jumps, tunnel, dog walk, table, tire hoop, mini A-frame/dog walk trainer. Yard is regularly sprayed (safe for pups) for mosquitos so it will be a bug free experience! Please not that agility equipment may be off to side sometimes for mowing. Note: Agility teeter and dog walk are smaller than regulation, but all dogs welcome to use it. Security cameras are on the property.

Lots of sniffs here as five dogs live on property, horses are along back fence and deer are always meandering around. You can park at the gate, in the driveway; no one will be coming or leaving while you are here. Enter through the small gate to the left, next to the column. This property is the front yard. It is very quiet most of the time, but it is a neighborhood, so you might be here when neighbors are doing yard work. Three things: -I have horses (Oliver and Tot - you will know which one is Tot!), your dogs will most probably bark their heads off! Not a problem, they are pretty much bark proof. -I have five dogs. They will never be outside, ever. However, you may hear them barking. I am always here and will quiet them down as best I can. -fire ants. I do not use chemicals on the lawn, so I “spot” treat the mounds. I use a white ant treatment so you can easily identify. Be mindful of them, and be careful of any I may have missed.

This is a very quiet place on a country road where your dogs can be off leash and free to explore nature. The full four acres are surrounded by a 5 foot fence and there is a small creek running through the property. There is a wide spot in the creek that is easily the most popular spot for our canine visitors! There are larger fields and open areas for your dogs to practice their retrieving, and there are many paths in the woods for hiking. The beginning of each path is marked with quartz stones to show you the way. You will also find several benches scattered throughout the property so that you can take a load off while your dogs run and play. When it rains the property can be quite wet in some areas, so bring boots and a towel to clean off your muddy (but happy!) dog. There is a full competition size agility field within the four acres. The agility equipment is completely fenced in and will be accessible only to those who have had at least one formal beginner's agility class. This is to keep you and your dog safe and to prevent misuse of the equipment. Please message the host when you book the spot and before your first visit to discuss your agility experience if you are wanting to access the equipment. **I would really like for your first visit to be on a weekend or a Tuesday (my day off) so that I can meet with you to show you some details about the property and discuss parking. After the first visit, book whenever you want! If you absolutely cannot make it these days for your first visit, we can work something out. 🙂

Our fully fenced in yard is perfect for a pup playdate! The fence is solid so there are no visuals of other dogs. The ground is flat and there is access to a large hill outside of the fence for some on leash fun. There is a large tree for shade during the summer or your pup can cool down under the raised deck. Driveway parking is available and there is a hose connection and trash can on the way to the fence gate. Fostering? Frolic for free! Just send us a message to set up your visit. **The pool is closed for the winter** Welcome! We have a fun property your dogs will love! We have a 2 acre property, which includes approximately a half acre fenced area, a 1 acre unfenced area, and a separately fenced inground pool area. Only dogs are allowed in the swimming pool. Two creeks outline our property and dogs are welcome anywhere on the property. We tend to keep the grass in the back of the property a bit longer to support the bees, but it also makes for lots more sniffing for the pups! If you're using the unfenced portion of the yard, dogs must be on leash. We have dogs of our own, but we will keep them secure in the house when you're using the property so you'll have the whole yard and pool to yourself. Please see the amenities and access instructions portions of our profile for more information! We bought our property specifically for our own dogs to enjoy, so we know yours will love it too. Entering the spot: The gate is to the right of our garage, it just swings open and is held shut by a metal loop. There is no lock. Parking: Our driveway is steep and curves. You can park in the driveway in front of the garage and then back into the space beside our truck to drive down the driveway when leaving, I do not recommend backing down it. I am also happy to open our garage to give you more room if needed. We used to have a F250 and were able to navigate without issues. You can also park in the culdesac in front of our house. Getting Here: We live in a gated community so I will have to call in a pass (this is why I require a 2 hour notice for visits). I will reach out when you confirm your visit to request a first and last name to call in a pass for you to enter. Use YMCA Camp Thunderbird’s address to be sure you go to the main gate of our neighborhood. The gate is manned 24/7. Give them your name and our address and they will provide you with a paper pass. Please note, you will be required to show them your drivers license to enter. Restroom: If you need to use the restroom, please just send me a message so that I know you may be inside. To access it, use the doors closest to the hose in the back yard. There is a half bathroom inside immediately to the left. Please note this amenity is only available if we are home. You can message prior to booking an appointment to confirm availability. WiFi: Info sent upon request when booking is confirmed.

DOG PARK RULES AND REGULATIONS 1. Park users and dog owners assumes all risks when using the dog park. 2. Owners must remain with their dog(s) at all times and carry a leash in fenced areas. 3. Owners must immediately remove feces using the plastic bags and garbage receptacles provided. 4. Dogs must have current vaccinations, and must wear a collar with current dog license, rabies certification, etc. Dog I.D. tags are not encouraged. 5. Dogs must be removed at first sign of aggression to other dogs or humans. 6. Dogs in heat are prohibited. 7. Dog handlers must be at least 16 years of age or older. 8. Children under the age of 12 years old are not permitted in fenced in area for safety reasons. 9. Dog must be leashed prior to entering and immediately upon leaving the fenced area. 10. No pronged, training collars, or choke chains allowed. 11. Digging is prohibited. 12. No glass containers of any kind are permitted in the park. 13. Food for humans and/or pets is prohibited. An exception is for “one gulp” treats, which are permitted. No bones, chewed treats, etc. are allowed. 14. Never allow your dog to chase children or others. 15. All children must be supervised carefully. 16. Violators are subject to removal and /or exclusion from the dog park. 17. The dog park is closed when park personnel are conducting maintenance. The park must be vacated during park maintenance.

Canine Commons Park Rules • Dog Park closes at Sunset daily. • No animals other than dogs may be brought into the fenced area. • All dogs must be leashed until safely inside the dog park and returned to a leash prior to exiting. • Dog owners must remain in the fenced area while their dogs are using the dog park. Owners must be in view of their dogs and have voice control at all times. • Children accompanying dog owners must be strictly supervised and at least 12 years old to be allowed inside. Spectators should remain outside the fenced area. • Aggressive dogs and female dogs in heat are not allowed. Owners must immediately leash and remove dogs from the dog park at the first sign of aggressive behavior. • Please be courteous to others and remove any sick dogs from the dog park. • Owners must dispose of waste properly in the on-site containers. • While small bite-sized training treats are permitted, food in bowls, long-lasting chews, or glass containers are not allowed. • Smoking and eating are not allowed inside the dog park. • No more than three (3) dogs per person are allowed on any single visit. • Puppies less than four (4) months old are not permitted. • Dogs must be licensed and vaccinated for rabies and DHLPP. Current license and rabies tags must be worn on the dog’s collar at all times. • North Caroline State Law requires all dog bites to be reported to CMPD Animal Control Bureau 311. In addition, owners are required to assist in the investigation of incidents of aggression or biting by providing appropriate identification and information to CMPD, AND to other dog owners who are involved with the incident under investigation. • Owners are liable for any injury or damage caused by their dog and are fully responsible for their dog’s actions.
