We recommend you bring towels to dry your dog ,bug spray and sunscreen during warmer months. We’d love to welcome you to our place. We used a non-toxic dye in ponds  in early March to give shade for the large Koi. It helps protect them from the blue herring until the summer grass comes in. It has almost completely faded, and it’s safe for fish plants, domestic and wildlife just a little heads up. our grandchildren swim in it. So feel safe.

Your playful pups will love the fully fenced backyard at my house that is centrally located at Milepost 6 in the Avalon Beach neighborhood of Kill Devil Hills! We are just one block away from the sound and the path that runs along Bay Drive. Our yard is surrounded on three sides by a 6-foot-tall wooden fence, and the fourth side is bordered by a 3.5-foot-tall wooden picket fence that faces the carport (for visibility to the carport and driveway). Bottled water is available at no charge for humans (and pups!) in a mini fridge in the carport, which you are also welcome to use to store your own beverages during your stay! Dog bowls, a mini trash can and doggie bags are also available in the backyard, as is a fire pit and seating you are more than welcome to enjoy!

Run, Jump, Splash or Relax Allow your pup(s) to stretch their legs with our large fenced in yard. We have an extra picket aluminum fence on, safe for the little companions to enjoy too. We have a newly built swimming pool with a splash pad and a covered patio, which offers plenty of shade. Our covered patio has two ceiling fans, a gas fireplace, comfy patio furniture for five, an outlet for charging phones or laptops, WiFi available, and misting fan available upon request. We also have treats available on the patio for your doggo. We do have two medium size dog canopies, a chilly pad, numerous water and retrieivng toys for stretching those legs and tiring out your companion. *Please be respectful and courteous as this is our home* *Do not allow your dog(s) to bark excessively or at our neighbors, this is our home. *NO glass or alcohol allowed on property *NO smoking of any type *Please clean up after yourself *Thoroughly brush your pup(s) prior to swimming as to reduce the amount of hair in the pool. Our yard is fully fenced except along the water. Dogs can enjoy swimming in the sound accessible by the stairs on the dock - the water is usually less than 3 feet deep. Our play yard is full of activity for any pet to enjoy! We offer a sandpit for pets or kids to pay in, hanging rope toy, a few small climbing objects, a ramps, toys, and balls. We do have some small farm animals throughout the property but they are all secure in their areas. Our dogs will be inside during visits so owners and pets can enjoy their time in the yard without the distractions of our babies. We live in a very quite neighborhood that doesn't have much going on. Everything we offer is located on a cart at the entrance of the play yard.

Chase all the squirrels and run till your hearts content! This safe, secure dog space features more than 1/3 acre and is shaded in all the right places. Large deck overlooking the entire yard with a beautiful wooded backdrop. 3 access gates provide easy in and out. Even take your dogs for a quiet walk thru the woods if you want! You can’t go wrong with this yard!

Lovely large fenced in backyard located in Hickory area of Chesapeake! Street side parking. Large deck to lounge on with water access for pups. Plenty of shade with the trees and trampoline. We even have pups to play with if your pups are friendly! 💛

Open space, plenty of room to run back and forth. Complete privacy from us in the house. The backyard also opens to a woods area, which dogs are allowed to be leashed on for a walk. We have sanitizer, trash can, dog bags, swing set, fire pit, etc. Also provide treats, dog toys.

We have a few spots in the fence a small dog could get out if not watched but we’re working on fixing them but big dog friendly! We do have dogs ourself they won’t be outside during you’re stay but they might bark I’ll try my best to keep them from seeing you’re dog if they are dog aggressive just let me know ahead of time! Great yard to let your dogs run free full fenced and cool sitting area while you wait

This is quite litterally my back yard. My pup has been getting bored with the smells in our yard. He is a very quiet, dog friendly, non-reactive Great Pyrenees. He's already somewhat of an indoor cat so he won't be bothered waiting inside. Hoping some new dog smells would spice up his life! We have some apartment complexes nearby and would love to share the yard with some of our neighbors! We have some uh rustic yard furniture and an in ground fire pit. There are outdoor lights both on the exterior of the shed and string lights around the fire pit. We enjoy the native plants we have in our yard and don't cut the grass but every few weeks or so. We have a feral cat colony living in the neighbors yards but they stay away from our yard when dogs or people are around. There are also cats in the window of the house for fair warning.
