Fall 2024 Updates: With the rainy weather mushrooms may be present, we do our best to dispose of them but if you see them don't let your dog eat them as they can cause GI upset or be harmful. It's also acorn drop season and our large oak tree is dropping a lot of them. Acorns are not safe for dogs to eat. If your dog likes to eat stuff our yard might not be the best fit during this season. We want our pup friends to have a safe fall. We have a mix of gardens, grass, mulch, and leaf areas great for sniffing and playing fetch and a bin full of fun toys and treats. We have a special basket of small dog toys upon request. We provide cold water for humans, bug spray, and hand sanitizer. We spray our yard every 5 weeks with a natural oil mix to help reduce mosquitos, fleas, and ticks. Reactive dog owners should note that our neighbors on both sides have dogs that may or may not be outside during your visit. They are all friendly but will probably bark. (No dogs live in the yard with the chain link but there are visible dogs two yards over) We provide a bucket of extra treats to help with training and distraction. Our girl loves a "sniffari" where you hide treats around the yard to sniff out. ⭐️ Important notes ⭐️ 🐶 All dogs must be FULLY vaccinated (Rabies, Parvo, Bordetella, DHPP) Please do not book unless you are sure your dog has all their shots. Puppies less than 4 months old that are still building up vaccines should stay at home. ⭐️ Dogs MUST be leashed when entering and exiting the yard. Our neighbor across the street has a few outdoor cats we want to keep safe. 🍃 Please do not let your dog eat or chew any of the plants in the yard. We are located just up the street from Pony Pasture park! We have a fully (newly) fenced in back yard that has yet to be landscaped since we moved in last year - perfect for dogs that need to let out their zoomies. The yard is shaded about 80% of the day. We have our own 2yo pitty named Asher who is happy to share his yard (don’t worry he will be inside at all times) - we have poop bags and bug spray for your use. Please pickup after your pet!

An abundance of wildlife live in the woods so don’t be surprised by a random deer, rabbits, raccoons and such. With rural areas also comes briars, thorns, uneven ground, mole tunnels, and of course, ticks and mosquitoes the further you venture. So come prepared! There are ammenties available to reserve as well if you'd also like to enjoy the water along with your Pup as they will love exploring as should you! If they have a special affinity for water play, you would like to slowly introduce them to water or to just enjoy a splash on the banks privately they will absolutely have a blast! ** This is the country so while the land is wonderful to explore it does have vacant and undeveloped areas. You will encounter nature especially in the spring and summer. Depending on how far from the house and immediate pond area you venture, there are ticks, snakes, uneven ground, rabbits, wet spots, etc. Please keep in mind when booking your comfort level being used to the outdoors and being adventurous!

Welcome to 50 acres of puppy heaven! Located off Crittenden Road in Suffolk, Virginia. Please take dirt lane, there is no house. Please do not disturb neighbors. Drive or Walk through the gate and the whole area is yours! There are walking trails in the woods, a pond to find and a river to explore. The open field is wonderful for training and or play. Your dog will love exploring this wonderful property. ***This is the country. The land is wonderful to explore but it is vacant and undeveloped. You will encounter nature, really in the spring and summer. There are ticks, snakes, uneven ground, rabbits, wet spots, etc. Please only book if you are used to the outdoors and being adventurous!*** Update from my guests comments: Wear bug spray when it’s warm, check for ticks after a visit, boots are recommended after rainy days, dogs may get muddy bring towels and look for the new mailbox to identify the dirt lane off the road. Enjoy!

Welcome to our Sniffspot! This is a suburban backyard, great for anyone in the surrounding area who needs a fenced-in yard for your pup to run around in. I have an older German Sheppard who only goes out periodically throughout the day. He would NOT be out in the yard during your reservation. I do my best to keep the yard clean but there may be some missed spots here and there. My neighbors have 2 younger dogs who can be heard, but not seen, through the vinyl fence. There are other dogs in the neighborhood as well that can be heard but not seen. The deck can be accessed for bench seating, outdoor table seating, umbrella shade, outdoor electricity, and other amenities. Please come enjoy our backyard!
