The Happy Canines in West Covina

The space includes a fun dog obstacle course, a real fire hydrant, and a ball pit available on some days. Guests are welcome to relax on benches or outdoor seating. Outward Hound Level One available as an experience during your stay and can be booked as an extra. Fully fenced backyard by Sunset Blvd in Silverlake. Close to DTLA, Hollywood, etc. Large backyard area with astroturf grass, area with mulch dirt, etc. There’s 3 levels so it’s a great place for dogs to run and jump around. Plenty of shade from trees and lounge chair seating for the pup’s humans. Please keep in mind: there are a number of stairs to get to the backyard area (see pictures!). The backyard also has levels that are not fenced and there are different types of terrain in the spot (astroturf, rocks, dirt, etc).

Welcome to Our Doggy Paradise! 🐾 Our space was thoughtfully designed with both dogs and their humans in mind. You’ll find pet-friendly turf, a fun mini-golf area, a spacious doggy house, and a secure enclosed area if your pup needs a little time alone. There’s doggy furniture, toys, and outdoor seating for the humans to relax while the pups play. We’ve also strung warm lights across the entire backyard, making it a magical spot for evening visits. Plus, we provide treats and essentials to make your dog’s visit extra special! Please Note: • Our doggy fountain is currently leaking and not holding much water so it won’t be full during your visit till it’s repaired. We have several water bowls set up to make up for it. • You may hear a baby during your visit — our home is shared with a little one, so guests must be comfortable with the occasional baby sounds. • To keep things enjoyable and safe for everyone, we’re limiting the number of people per booking to 4. If you’d like to join your pup in the water, you’re welcome to add the human swimming option under “Extras.” We also kindly ask that you clean up after yourself and your pup. Whittier Dog Park is located at 12206 Philadelphia St in Whittier, California. The park is fully fenced and open daily from sunrise to sunset. Dogs must be accompanied by persons 18 or older, and children under 6 are not allowed in the off-leash area. Only 3 dogs are allowed per adult, and female dogs in heat are not permitted. Owners must clean up after their dogs, and no food (for people or canines) or toys (except toss toys) are allowed in the off-leash area. Aggressive dogs are not allowed, and owners are responsible for any injuries caused by their pets.
