Allamuchy Dog Park

General Rules and Regulations for Use of the Dog Park 1. The Allamuchy Dog Park is for dogs only. No other pets/animals will be permitted. 2. The Allamuchy Dog Park may only be used by registered members and their registered visitors. [See Registration Section below] 3. All dogs must wear a collar while in the Park with their membership tag and current rabies tag attached. The following collars are NOT permitted in the Dog Park: Choke, Prong (pinch) and spike collars. Remote training collars are allowed. 4. Only small dogs are permitted to use the small dog area, with the exception of training large dogs if no small dogs in that area are present. Should a small dog approach the small dog park entrance it would be required to ask for ample time to exit the small dog area prior to entry. Small dogs are those weighing up to 40 pounds; large dogs are considered to be those 40 pounds and over. While small dogs are permitted in the large dog area, owners/handlers of the dogs do so at their own risk. 5. All dogs must be accompanied at all times by at least one person who is eighteen years of age or older and who is capable of maintaining physical and voice control over the dog(s) at all times. Dogs may not be left unattended. 6. Dogs must be leashed before entering the designated play area and after leaving the play area. 7. Owners/handlers MUST clean up IMMEDIATELY after their dogs. Disposable waste bag dispensers are placed throughout the Park, however owners should also carry their own bags since they are ultimately responsible for their dog’s waste. All waste bags must be properly disposed of in the appropriate waste containers. 8. No children under the age of 8 will be allowed in the fenced dog play area. Only children between the ages of 8-17 are permitted inside the fenced area with adult supervision. 9. No food of any type, including dog food or treats, is allowed inside the Park. Owners/handlers are responsible for supplying a water dish for their dog. 10. Alcohol and Drugs are STRICTLY FORBIDDEN, SMOKE FREE area. NO glass containers are allowed inside the park. 11. Dispose of all trash in appropriate trash containers and/or recycling containers prior to entering the Park.

Long Valley Dog Park

Dog Park Rules & Regulations • Use the park at your own risk. Dog owners are responsible and liable for the actions and behavior of their dogs at all times. • A RELEASE OF LIABILITY FORM must be signed and witnessed before membership privileges for the park are considered. • All dogs must wear a valid license and a Long Valley Dog Park Pass Tag. Fees for park use will be $10 for residents and $15 for non-residents. Dog owners must fill out application and provide veterinarian’s signature to confirm proof of current vaccinations and secure the pass tag. Pass Tags are not transferable to other dogs. • Dogs with a history of dangerous or aggressive behavior are prohibited . Dogs must be removed from the park upon the first sign of aggression • Puppies under four months old are prohibited. Dogs over six months old must be spayed or neutered. Female dogs in heat are prohibited • Dog Park membership expires on December 31 the year of issuance and must be renewed the following January. • Limit of 3 dogs per adult. Dogs must be accompanied by an adult 18 years or older at all times. • Dogs must be leashed in their cars prior to entering the parking lot. Dogs must remain leashed at all times until inside the fenced park area. When leaving the dog park area the dog must be leashed before leaving through the double gate, and remained leashed until inside their owner’s vehicle. • No spiked collars (on the dogs) • Access gates must be properly secured upon entering/leaving the off leash area. • No children under age 10 allowed inside the fence: all children must be accompanied by an adult and closely supervised. • Owners are required to clean up after their dog. Waste bags are provided. • No food allowed inside the fenced area. • Owners must provide their own water and water bowls. • No smoking allowed. • Hours: Open daily from 8:00 AM until dusk. • Parking lot will be cleared after snow events, paths will not - use at your own risk • Dog Park may be closed for maintenance activities from time to time. • All incidents, bites or injuries must be reported immediately to the Washington Police Department - 908-876-3232. The Hunterdon County Off-Leash Dog Area is open to the public from dawn to dusk, daily. 2. Users must abide by all Rules and Regulations governing the use of Hunterdon County Parklands and must comply with the directions of County Personnel. 3. Children under ten (10) years of age are not permitted within the fenced enclosure. Children between the ages of ten (10) and fifteen (15) years of age are permitted within the fenced enclosure, under close adult supervision. Puppies under six months of age are prohibited. 7. Dogs must be spayed or neutered. 8. Dogs must wear flat-buckle collars, displaying a valid license and current vaccinations tag. 9. Users must properly secure access gates and leash their dogs prior to entering and upon leaving the off-leash dog area. Users must carry a leash for each dog within the fenced enclosure, at all times. 10. Users must clean up after their dogs. 11. Rawhide and other dog food products are prohibited within the fenced enclosure. 12. Food and beverages (for human consumption) are prohibited within the fenced enclosure. Users are responsible for any damage caused by dogs, including, but not limited to: digging, scratching, chewing, and illness, including damage to the off-leash dog facility, access pathways, and parking areas, vehicles, property, and pedestrians.

Owners of aggressive dogs risk harming others and creating a liability for themselves. b. Owners are solely responsible for preventing injuries and offering assistance to those injured by their dog(s). If your dog inflicts injury, give your name and telephone number to the other owner before leaving the park. • Dogs in heat are not permitted in the park. • Puppies under 4 months of age are not permitted to use the park to protect their own health. • All dogs using the park must have current certificate of vaccination against rabies. • All dogs must be under voice control. • No toys or treats are allowed in the park. This will prevent dominance issues. • All waste must be bagged and disposed of immediately, completely, and properly. a. Do not wait to collect your dog’s waste – all eyes will be on you! b. All areas both in and outside the dog park must remain clean and clear of dog waste, litter, and cigarette butts. c. Please refrain from smoking in general congregative areas. • Fill any holes your dog digs. • Ask for owner permission to approach a dog before befriending him/her. Use caution when permitting curious dogs to greet yours, both in and outside the dog park. • Owners must be with their dogs at all times. Do not bring more dogs than you can handle! • Dogs must have a collar or harness displaying a current license and be held by a leash while entering and/or exiting the park. • If an owner is asked to leash their dog due to behavior, the owner should honor that request. • Bike riding, skateboarding, rollerblading, and skating are prohibited inside the dog park. • No glass receptacles or alcohol is permitted inside the park at any time.
