55Nice sized yard, fully fenced with an easy-to-access gate. My dog had a great time exploring and playing.
SAFETY NOTE for dog owners: the terrain is very uneven and has some debris throughout (cinder blocks, broken pottery, wood boards, assorted stuff along the fence, etc). There’s also stagnant water pooling in some of the debris which is easily accessed by dogs. Keep a close eye on your pup as they run and explore here!Ana L.

55Very sweet and cool place for your fur babies to explore. The stairs from the gate to the yard could be a challenge for some especially people and senior pups. Overall it was lovely! Lots of shaded areas to enjoy during these hot day!jenna b.

55What a lovely spot! So nice and quiet, but great for reactive dogs that like to investigate all the smells and aren’t particularly ball chasers. There was a great mix of sun and shade. A message to the Sniffspot users: Let’s keep these spots nice and clean. We ended up scooping someone else’s dogs droppings, so our boy would get blamed. Honestly my new favorite sniff spot. Nikki W.

55A cute place! Loved that there was much for my dogs to sniff. The host and I met for a brief moment but she was attentive and kind!
I will agree with some previous reviewers that:
- the staircase down is a bit dangerous so make sure your ankles are in good shape!
- there are foxtails around so make sure to check your dogs. I pulled some out of mine.
- wish there was a bit more grass but it was fine.
May book another stay when there’s more foliage and less foxtails.Elisa H.

55What a great oasis for my nervous reactive pup. A lot of space and a gorgeous garden, many things to sniff and enough space to play a tiring game of fetch. There are a good amount of steps, and longer haired dogs will get a certain amount of debris to clean out of their fur. You could hear a dog and chickens nearby but just enough distance that my dog was curious but not over threshold which is perfect for training/desensitizing. all in all my dog and I can’t wait to be back!Roxy T.

55Lovely yard with lots of sniffing and exploring. Our pup had TPLO surgery 6 months ago and is still a bit stiff sometimes so the amount of stairs was too much for him by the end, but for the average dog that shouldn’t be a problem.
The resident dog was audible, but not visible at any time. Their neighbor was doing some yard work, and at one point we did catch a glimpse of their neighbors dog while we were at the top level (their yard was below us). Their dog never made any noise and was only visible very briefly.
We’ll have to wait till our pup is further along with his healing before coming back, but it’s a lovely yard for sniffing!Rose L.

55This place is really lovely. There is a lot of shade, places to sit, water bowls for the dogs, interesting things for the dogs to sniff and explore. The garden is really beautiful. My dogs had a blast running around, and we will be back again!
There are definitely foxtails. Not many actual stalks of the grass, but the ground had a lot of the seed pods covering it, especially towards the back/left of the yard. I can't fault the owners for this because it is soooo hard to get rid of foxtails and it's clear that they try. I'm especially cautious because my dog has already had 2 removed from his nose this year so we are very risk-averse. Others might not be.
Thank you for having us at your lovely home!Ali S.

55What a wonderful backyard! Daisy had so much fun exploring and sniffing around! There was a dog next door that barked a bit and spooked Daisy to start, but the owner was able to quite them shortly. Daisy quickly warmed up and began to feel safe and comfortable. Will be coming back :-)Alyssa R.

55Perfect for reactive dogs who need to get their energy out safely without the distraction of other animals and people. There were a couple of foxtails around but for how large of a yard it is, the owners did a great job keeping the fox tails at bay. Lots of things for the doggos to sniff and explore here.
The yard is really spacious and a bit slope-y so one of our senior chihuahua with arthritis did have some issues going up and down the steep stairs so keep that in mind, but he had a lot of fun nonetheless because there’s a good amount of area that is flatter for him to run around and enjoy. I would definitely bring my reactive dogs here again!Tiffany H.

55My foster doggy and I had a great time! Of course I missed the big bucket of toys at the entry. But we found a tennis ball and were worn out by the end. The yard is very spacious and beautiful. The chain link fence that connects the neighbors yard is definitely low if you have a jumper. We never know with these fosters. So something to take in consideration. We will be back for sure! Thank you ❤️Nicole S.

FAQ about our Bay Point fully fenced dog parks
Are fully fenced dog parks safe?
While public dog parks have a number of safety issues, such as aggressive dogs, inattentive owners, disease transmission and general cleanliness, Sniffspot dog parks are much safer than public dog parks. Human and animal safety is our #1 focus. Without a private option, many dog owners are relegated to using athletic fields or tennis courts for their dogs, which are not private or safe. With Sniffspot all bookings are private for just you and dogs you bring with you and we require all dogs to be vaccinated (or have equivalent titers). All Sniffspot locations are vetted and reviewed by guests so you can find the perfect place for you and your dog. 93% of reviews on Sniffspot visits are 5 stars. And with fully fenced Sniffspot parks, you can get the safety of a fenced-in space for dogs, while still having plenty of space to run.

How do I know if a fully fenced dog park works for my dog?
Many people looking for fully fenced parks have dogs that are not good with voice control. Start by applying basic filters, such as fences height and distractions, to find a dog park that works for your dog. You can see attributes of fences such as height, gaps and fencing type to find the perfect fenced-in space for dogs. You can filter by size to make sure you have plenty of space, or a smaller space if you prefer a neighborhood park. You can browse on a map by park location to find one in your city or near your city. If your dog is reactive to other dogs, you can visit one of our off-leash areas where there are no dogs audible or visible near the space. Make sure to review the amenities of the spot to check features you want for your activity, such as fresh water, trail features such as soft trails or walking trails, or even water fountains. If you prefer wood chips, many of our parks have wood chips or indoor space if you prefer a beautiful park building.
What are the requirements to bring my dog to a Sniffspot fully fenced dog park?
We require that all dogs have basic vaccinations or equivalent titers. We do not permit use by pregnant dogs and we do not permit dogs with a bite history. We require that guests sign our waiver and agree to follow our safety rules, such as staying within the designated off-leash areas. Each park location also has their own set of rules that guests need to follow, such as limiting excessive barking.
Will there be other dogs at the Sniffspot fully fenced dog park at the same time as me?
