I have 6 acres directly on the South Fork of the Shenandoah River. Great spot for small mouth fishing. Pictures taken are when the river was very low but regardless it’s still a pretty good spot to go out in the water. Also available to drop in or hop out for kayaking. Brand new fence! Officially opened! Located off of a quiet road by the Sky Meadows State Park entrance. We live on the property with our two rescue dogs (but they will be kept away and inside the house during your visit). Our property has a brand new fence (wood paddock style with reinforced cattle wire mesh) that we would like to share with people and their dogs who need some exercise. Many amenities around including wineries, scenic views, Sky Meadows State Park, historical landmarks, and more. Please reach out if you have any questions! We have a total of four acres located in the back yard, however; only one of those acres is fenced in. Behind our fenced in area we have a beautiful trail through the woods that is a great space to walk your dogs (on leash). Our fenced in area is a great spot to have your dogs romp around. If it is hot outside, we will have a baby pool for the doggos to cool off! We have two border collies that get all of their energy out in this space, who will be indoors while any other friends are using the space.

The yard is fully fenced and we do not have other pets that will use the yard. We are located in a subdivision. We have had large and small dogs use our yard. Adam and Terrie love dogs and we no longer have a dog. We do not want to own another dog at this time but we love to have them around. We share our yard with you because it gives your dogs a chance to run and play and it gives us a chance to see a dog. We try to greet you as soon as you arrive, offer drinks and assistance, and if you allow it, we’d love to pet your dog(s)!

I’m a dog trainer and I run a dog boarding/daycare from my home (hence all the different fenced spaces). When possible, daycare and boarding dogs will be taken indoors during your visit so that you and your pup can have uninterrupted time to play/work together in a quiet environment. This is not always feasible depending on the day/time of your visit and our schedule on any given day. Check in advance if your dog does not do well if they see/hear other dogs, people, or cars. The main SniffSpot is currently about 7,000 sq ft in our side field, which is perfect for running, playing fetch, working on recall and other obedience commands, and is full of smells to sniff out. Welcome to Greek Lake Acres! We are located in Stephens City and we have 23 acres in total. About 5 acres are open grassy fields with an acre sized pond for swimming in the middle, surrounded by woods, complete with a few trails. Disclaimer: there is slight construction happening to the house, which is several hundred yards away from where you will be playing. With that being said, you MAY hear machines, saws, hammering during construction. With the distance it is unlikely you will hear anything but I wanted to set a warning out so everyone is aware of the possibility Feel free to message me after booking for directions- GPS can sometimes try to take you through Lake Fredrick and you can NOT get to us from there. (Google GPS works best to find us) The lake is "swim at your own risk" as we do not have a life guard on duty. The water edge slopes so you can come out with ease. There is NO FISHING permitted in the pond. Again, there is no lifeguard on duty, dogs swim at the responsibility/risk of their owner. Picnic tables are available near the waters edge and also in the trees next to the pond for shade. On the picnic table we have some floating toys for retrieving and also some sanitary bags if you need any. We are pesticide and fertilizer free, so please make sure you have tick/flea preventative because ticks love the woods! We are not fenced in, so recall is very important. The neighbors do have dogs, some wander so friendliness is important. We have chickens who live in their coop, who will remain safe in their coop during your visit. The property does have an abundance of wild life, including but not limited to deer, turkey, geese, ducks, squirrels and fox, but they do not stay around humans or dogs. Parking is on the lake side driveway near the green sign (see photos) Please note we are often outside enjoying our property as well. If you look at the photos, we typically stay in the “red X” area. If we have guests, our dogs are secured in the house. We can’t wait to see you! Gate entrance is to the left of the garage. You are able to park along the road or in the driveway. Please be mindful not to block any vehicles in & we will do the same. Feel free to sit and relax on the patio or by the fire pit. You are able to move the plastic chairs around as needed! We have tall trees, so there is plenty of shade. 💧 There is a hose on the larger patio if you need to fill the water bowl. 🚮 We have a small trash can located by the shed or you can use the big one outside of our garage.

We have a little peace of heaven here in the Shenandoah Valley! We’re just minutes from Interstate 66 & 81. We are also offering many amenities such as cold water for you and your dog! A dog pool, plenty of chairs located sporadically in the shade and one in the middle with an umbrella for shade! We have even put a hammock out there if you want to relax while your dog gets his/her energy out! We have also provided toys, costumes for dress up, light treats and we have a water source for cleaning off the paws as well as towels to dry your pooch before getting back in the car! The private dog park is 100% fenced in and while you’re here our dogs will be in the house so they are not a distraction. All you need to bring is your dog and yourself and you’re sure to have a great time! The proceeds from this Sniffspot will go to our Nonprofit Animal Rescue, Maci Blue Animal Rescue! I have a large field area that’s half an acre Surrounded by beautiful woods. I plan to fence it in the future but now it is unfenced We have bench chairs shade. If your dog loves to explore we have 8 acres of raw woods with trails. Feel free to bring your dog and go for a hike! We have seen many hawks soaring there the sky & bald eagles!

Our dog passed away in 2021 and due to health reasons we cannot have another one at this time. We love dogs and know Xena would love knowing her yard is helping other dogs get their zoomies on. NEW - Seasonally we will limit days to Sunday - Wednesday to accommodate mowers.
