We have one full acre fully fenced with 4' high goat/sheep woven wire fencing. About 1/3 of it is open grassy field and the other 2/3 is nice shady woods. We in the process of over seeding the field to make the grass more lush this spring. We have added a few surprises down in the woods to make it more fun for our guests and their fur babies. There is an open lean-to where there are dog toys like frisbees and balls availble. There is also be a cute backdrop as a photo op for the dogs.

Welcome to Raising Roots Farm! We just purchased this farm with big dreams to turn it into a community haven for years to come! Come bring your off lead trained pups to explore the farm before we move the livestock in, 10 acres of fenced pasture lead to the scenic overview of the Ohio River Valley. Follow the trail to the back of the property for your chance to spot some deer, turkey, or rabbits! The pastures are fenced with electric wire that is not in use as of yet (10/10/2024). Will update this posting once we’ve moved in livestock! For your dogs that need a more secure place to roam, our XL fenced back yard spot is perfect for our four legged friends who need some help to follow boundaries. 4ft chain link lines two sides and a wooden fence with gaps separates this yard from the pasture. Escape artist small-medium dogs WILL be able to escape this fence. As we get the farm established we’ll be adding flower fields and a food forest, as well as other furry farm friends! Our beloved Chicken Nugget is always available to pal around with other dog friendly pups if needed!

So, please check back when we reopen!*** Looking for an escape from the busy city? Or maybe you live in a neighborhood with a pup that likes hiking? Then look no further! This wooded play spot has endless trails, wildlife, and serenity! Take a peaceful walk on the trails and listen to the birds chirp in the trees. Maybe you have an older pup and hikes aren't really their thing anymore... that's okay too! We have a large field that they lounge in the sun with their favorite toy or play some fetch! We are a farm, and we do have animals. So, I ask that you PLEASE keep your dog(s) away from the horse's pasture and the chickens' coops! Back yard is about 3/4 to an acre fully fenced. There is an above ground pool with a fence around the deck. Small dogs will be able to sneak through the pool deck fence so use caution with smaller pups. We block the deck off with all the pool junk best we can. Depending on if we are home the yard is always picked up before each guest and fresh water put out for your pup. If you need to book with shorter notice, send me a message and see if I can make accommodations. I also block time off to mow grass or if we are using the pool. A lot of the time I am done early so you can always message me and we can see if it’s available. Any questions just ask :)

I have a huge back yard, unfenced and mostly all cleared land with some woods for those who like to explore. Great for dog's who enjoy fetch and ample sniffing!

We own approximately 7 acres in Franklin Park that is mostly flat with some hills. Approximately 3 acres of flat pasture, and 4 acres of woods that circle the property and behind the home. There is a stream that flows through the property which borders the pasture entering the woods and a bridge to cross. Hills naturally fence in the property and will keep your pup safe. There is plenty of room for any dog, kids, and family to play! Feel free to use the hammock and garden table in the woods to relax. Also, your children are welcome to use our Club house/Swing Set, roller coaster, or pretend house at your own risk. If you enjoy our property and would like for your pup to experience it more and need boarding, I board as well! Please find me on Rover and book your pup's stay!

Our backyard is hilly which is fully fenced by 4ft chain link. It's a pretty quiet neighborhood so your baby won't get distracted :)

** WINTER Months- please feel free to message anytime about Trail and Lake conditions before booking or day of reservation. It is extremely important around lake when iced over that you dog stay with you, leash around lake trail for safety if they will run ahead. Also you may need to park at gate and walk in if you do not have 4x4 ** * please check messages, I send out first timers info msgs and other information msgs that you may need to know* Dog paradise! Trails throughout, 3 acre lake, fenced in 24 acres. So much to do and explore. This is a natural area including woods and lake. Recall is still important. A great spot for recall training. We check fence regularly the best we can and I run 4x4 each morning to try and move out any wildlife. However It is such a large space if your pup does not stick with you. There could be times during day when we may miss if a critter has dug out under fence or branch has fallen. You know your dog(s) so use your best judgement if you feel they will be safe. It really is such an awesome space, we have learned after buying it is actually an old sandstone rock quarry! You will see lots a rocks throughout trails. Please watch steps for rocks and roots on trails. We have a small farmyard with ducks, chickens and pigs. They are fenced in their own area. Main trail in woods comes out behind the farm. If you are unsure of how dogs will react please leash while passing to ensure safety of all. We hope you and your dog(s) have the best time and enjoy 🐾 Hours- because of the way the property is set up we can only regularly open certain times. Regular hours M-F 8am-2pm Saturdays- will be open as we are able to, it will be sporadic as we typically are out working on property or with our dogs on weekends. 😀 thanks!

Large rolling hay field with a beautiful tree line on 3 sides. Part of a working cattle farm with cows, horses, chickens, ducks, and goats. The field is cut twice a year, but there is 4 foot wide path around the parameter that is cut by a lawn mower regularly to maintain short grass perfect for walking, this is about a 1/4 mile around. The field is fenced, but the fence varies in escapability. The south side has wooden board fence, the west side (nearest the road) has woven wire, the north and east side have older barbed wire fencing reinforced with briar bushes (see photos). If you're feeling adventurous, there is a small section of woods, pasture land, and a creek to explore through the gate along the right corner of the field. *please shut and chain all gates upon entry*

Fully fenced backyard in a quiet neighborhood in Allison Park/McCandless. Near McIntyre Square/Passavant/McCandless Crossing. You may park in our gravel driveway. Enter the backyard via the gate and enjoy! Get out of the sun under our deck or the many tall trees bordering the yard. Please use caution in winter as everything will be snowy and slippery. The backyard and deck are not maintained in winter. If your dog likes to dig, they may dig freely under trees or under the deck. Please no digging in the grassy areas. Lots of trees, birds, squirrels, etc. to sniff. Basic table and chairs for your convenience. Dog waste and other trash may be discarded in the large black trash can marked "Trash Only" outside the gate. Dog waste bags are provided by the gate. The large deck has two bird feeders containing safflower seed. Safflower seed is NOT toxic to dogs. The bird feeders are out of reach of most dogs. The FRONT YARD is not part of the Sniff Spot. DO NOT ENTER OTHER PEOPLE'S YARDS IN THE NEIGHBORHOOD.

I have an enormous fenced-in yard. I’ve been working hard on getting it ready for doggy visitors. The ground can be a bit uneven, so please watch your steps. The gophers seems to dig holes faster than I can fill them, so running (for humans) is not advised. The best parking is at the corner and SniffSpot guests have their own gated entry at the far end of the property. Please don’t not park in front of the houses directly across the street, those neighbors are territorial about their parking spots and are not polite about it. If the private entrance is too steep for you or if the path is slick, please feel free to use the gates at the front of the house and garden entrance. The secondary gate just pushes away. The pup fountain can be used by turning on the faucet at the house, and you’re welcome to hook up and use the pup splash pad which is folded and placed on the doghouse.

Fully fenced in with a 4 ft high fence nice area across from new school and library plenty of room to run around I also have four dogs that would love to play with others and for some reason they don't I will keep them inside. I love animals especially dogs and if I could provide a place for them to play I'd be happy to accommodate

Completely fenced in backyard with a 6ft privacy fence. We have a 3.5 yr old shepherd mix. His name is Bailey and he plays well with other dogs. The gate is on the right side of the house near the garage. Thank you for checking out our page.

I keep the grass shorter in the field but would recommend boots. There are a couple access areas to get to the creek if your dog loves water. Parking by barn and you can have access below barn and cross creek to back field. Say “hi” to the goats if you want just don’t let your pups bark at them and scare them please.
