A lot of vegetation and places to sit down, meditate, read a book, study, or have a picnic. Your pup will love to play in our one-acre garden. Picking fruit or vegetable etc. is off the limit. Drinking water for animals is provided in various containers throughout the property. Please do not turn on or use any water equipment on our property - we had some serious problems in the past because of this. Please clean up after your dog’s “business”, smile. That’s a mandatory request. Waste bags are provided in a plastic box with other dog’s supplies) and a BROWN garbage can is in the front of the house by the street for your convenience. Thank you! Oakland backyard for your doggy to run!

I have a large space that I am sure a dog will love to run in. In the winter, post rain, it can get VERY muddy back there. Years of dogs running around has torn up a lot of the ground cover and it's now just dirt, which becomes mud in the winter. In the summer, the "grass" (more weeds than actual grass) gets very dry. There are some burrs due to the dryness so if your dog has longer fur they might get some attached to them. I do my best to weed the weeds that produce them, but there still might be some. It's a fairly large open space with a longer run on the side. Also, I want to note that in the back of the property the fence is lower, around 4/4.5 feet (the rest of the yard is at least 6 feet), so if your dog is a good jumper, this could be an issue. Happy playing!

Have dog(s) properly vaccinated and current with their vaccinations. City maintenance staff will not be cleaning up after dogs defecating in the park. Dog owners are responsible for keeping the park feces free. Should owners not take responsibility for this park, and cleaning up after their animals, City will close the park. Dog owners may be cited per San Ramon Municipal Code, Section B5-27G for not picking up feces from their dog(s) in the park or within the public right of way. Dog Owners are responsible and liable for the actions and behavior of the dog(s) under their supervision at all times while in the Dog Park. No more than 3 dogs per owner allowed at one time in the Park. Owners use the park at their risk. The City of San Ramon accepts no responsibility for injury, or illness to dogs, persons visitors or owners while using this park. Dogs and persons entering the Dog Park do so at their risk. Parents must be responsible for and protective of young children within the park. No smoking within the Dog Park.

Use of THE PAW PATCH™ is recommended for dogs' six months or older. 11. Dogs in heat are not allowed at THE PAW PATCH™ . 12. The designated area for small dogs is designed for dogs less than 30 pounds only. Small dog use in the larger area is at the discretion of the owner(s)/handler(s). We have neighbors on either side of our home but it’s a very quiet neighborhood overall.
