Hello I am Mookie, a Golden Doodle who loves to play ball and my Human is Grace. She got me this place with a long yard, perfect for playing with a chuck it! I begged for a pug and she let me have Frankie. We are happy to share our yards which have different areas for different Dog needs. Human needs can be taken care of too. We are relatively new to Sniffspot and will be adding new features as we go. Our pictures show how much we have changed since we opened the very snowy end of January. Frankie and I will not be coming out to visit your dogs, but once you leave we will enjoy learning about them on our scent hunt. We believe this will create a lot of interest and fun for us and for your special family members too. A little info about my place, I have safe space to unload and load the doggos. Important to close the gate as you enter and exit the property. Everywhere is fenced. It is 2 acres total, the area that you will be playing in is a very nice long field with a small pool which gets changed between guests, and a larger one that My human adds water to between guests. it looks dirty, however, it is from the sand box and dirt hills that my human made for the dogs to play in. It is too large for her to clean after each guest. There is a water hose with a shower head that you can use for play and clean up as well. Added attraction, MOLES and we love sniffing after them. Be watchful of holes that my human missed filling between guests, she tries very hard to find them, but Frankie is a digger! This is a place for fun , everything is not perfect , but the yard is a lot of fun for Frankie and also for me! We love to explore and sometimes we see deer here and other wild animals! UPDATE: All fences are secure. IF for some reason your dog slips out the farm gate entrance to the sniff spot, the entire property is fenced, and your dog will not get out. There is a shade canopy which will protect from the rain and some chairs to relax in. You may encounter holes because dogs love to dig in the soft turf and the hill of dirt, please let me know if you find some that my human and I have not gotten filled between visits and she will fix that! With so many trees, there will be branches down. I find that the dogs love to pick through those sticks. I try to keep on top of the really big ones, but if you see any let my human know. PLEASE NOTE: If your ball or other toys go over the fence, they now belong to my neighbor! PLEASE You must not go over the fence to get them!! I have other balls and will be happy for you to use them while here, if they go over, I can deal with him later! Thank you for your consideration of my neighbors. Please take pictures of your beautiful happy dogs and share here! Let's make other dogs and humans know there is a safe place to play! Nature in the City is a unique Private Dog Park that is 1 1/2 acres of beautiful natural land with varied landscapes. Step out of the city and into our natural setting that features different areas including 2 grassy fields perfect for fetch w/discs, ropes, or toys, (balls are not best here due to all of the surrounding bushes), a couple of forested areas, several nature trails for hiking adventures, and a wetland-like area with a healthy little creek that’s a hit with the pups. They can wade, cool off, and drink from the natural water. Your dogs will have so many different sniffing and secure off-leash exploring opportunities here! Our spot is so much more than just a fenced field! The area is diverse and so much fun for your dog(s)! This is a great spot to work on recall. There are a couple areas on the trails that are a little steep, there’s a trail where you have to walk over logs 🪵, and the little creek has to be stepped over in places, so people with limited mobility may have issues in these areas of the spot. There are two bridges over the creek, and we will be adding one more bridge at the far west end of the spot soon. There are plenty of spaces and trails that are suitable for all abilities. If you’re looking for a basic fenced field to play chuck-it then this probably isn’t your spot. We are continually working on our property, so every time you visit you will see improvements! We provide a rain/sun shelter with 4 foldable chairs (message us in advance if you need more chairs and we’ll put them out for you), and lots of supplies including dog toys & balls, poop bags, hand sanitizer, natural bug spray, sunscreen, wipes, hand towels, first aid kit, and a cornhole yard game. We also provide snacks and beverages for humans and doggos! Located outside are 2 zero-gravity reclining chairs, a kids size picnic table, a round metal table w/umbrella & 4 metal chairs, and fresh drinking water for your pups. There are open areas with sun ☀️, and there is shade all day due to many large trees. Our property is VERY secure with 5 to 6 ft fencing. We walk the fence line regularly and check to make sure it’s secure. We are located close-in on the Westside of Vancouver one mile from I-5 on 78th Street in West Hazel Dell near Felida. *It gets muddy in areas when it has been wet/raining outside. We have wood chips along trails and in muddy areas which help a lot! Come prepared so you enjoy your visit. **We recently added 6 solar flood lights in the main field area for those of you who visit after dark. They provide subtle light at the entryway, main field, and the shelter for about 4-5 hrs after it gets dark outside. If you you want to explore the trails after dark we recommend putting a collar light on your dog(s), and that you bring headlamps and flashlights 🔦. ***We recently added a small bridge over the middle section of the creek! There are bunnies, cats and squirrels on the property so we ask that you please restrain your dog for the first 30 seconds or so when entering the property to give those animals a chance to react to the presence of a new animal. Allowing your dog to chase cats or wander up onto the house's porch are not allowed. We appreciate your business and love your dogs, just encourage them to avoid the porch and gardens please. Leave any hose running if found that way (summer). Residents of the home may come and go during your reservation. We are mindful of your space, and we are careful to ensure the gate is kept closed. We are a family of 3 with two pups, three cats and two goats! Goats cannot be let out or fed from their fenced in pen, but can be played with by humans on the other side of the fence. They will love that! Our 3 acre property is fully fenced in and boasts open running space, areas to play fetch, a circular tree swing, a hammock, a bamboo “forest,” a basketball hoop (bring your basketball!), a picnic table and chairs under a patio overhang (bring a picnic!) and a little pond. Under our covered patio we also have a little pup resting area set up: an outdoor rug, outdoor pup cot, a stick or two, a ball, a frisbee, and rope toys. We have a couple of water bottles and a clean empty bowl if your pup needs water that you may also use. Also, a trash can for your convenience to put your pups poops in. And please close the gate BEFORE letting pups off leash as there is a busy road where cars tend to drive quickly and we just want the pups to be safe. The backyard is .25 acres, fully fenced with lots of room to run and area to roam - there are 2 large trees that provide a wonderful shade canopy and a patio cover as well. The front yard is also .25 acres but is not fenced - there is plenty of parking in the driveway. Please note that the yard is not watered in the summer so the grass will turn brown - doing my part for water conservation and drought conditions.

This place is so amazing! I have a heeler and don't have much yard space so this plave was perfect. She was so content being able to run a big area to her self. And my other dog, a little terrier who is a little more reactive, was able to roam freely off leash. We all had a great time, they had water bowls, a little kiddie pool, a picnic table with umbrella, and plenty of toys. Also a cool obstacle course. Definitely will be making time to come back!

This is an awesome spot! A hose, water bowls, toys, and even a little kiddie pool are available! They have a tunnel and little jumping things that are cool too. My dog loved it! We will be back for sure and want to thank you for making this cute spot available to the FG community 🤗.

We loved this spot so much! very easy to find as the entrance was clearly marked. there was a ton of amenities and we had lots of fun. i have a 85lbs husky/pitbull mix and there was no issue or concern with him getting out. can’t wait to come back!

Great area for the pups and scenic view! Loved having the hose available for fresh water and a few “new” toys for them to chase. I appreciated the sturdy fencing and mowed area!! Will def be back!!

Parking signs is clearly visible.. Lots of turn around room. Yard is well maintained, although some visitors haven't been picking up after dogs. Water and hoses and a pool for hot days. Extra poop bags. Way better stocked then an actual dog park. Our thanks.

Hands down the best Spot. We now have 7 dogs so parking right by the entrance is a must for our pack. Plenty of room to run and shade to rest their tired legs.

We have four unspayed female puppies that we wanted to get together to socialize and get them some exercise. This place was great it was just us and there was water, toys and plenty of room to run. All the puppies are exhausted are passed out at home immediately! We will definitely be back.

I didn't let my dog off her long line, since she's recovering from a shoulder injury, but it was a nice, flat area and will be perfect when she can do zoomies again! I appreciated the hose sprayer to fill up the water bowl, as she has a picky husky personality about seeing her water freshly replenished before drinking 🤣 We will be back!

Big open area but there are a few gopher holes(which is completely understandable with it being in the farmland area), so just be careful! But the hose/water and toys were awesome too and the pups enjoyed it!
