Step out of the city and into our natural setting that features different areas including 2 grassy fields perfect for fetch w/discs, ropes, or toys, (balls are not best here due to all of the surrounding bushes), a couple of forested areas, several nature trails for hiking adventures, and a wetland-like area with a healthy little creek that’s a hit with the pups. They can wade, cool off, and drink from the natural water. Your dogs will have so many different sniffing and secure off-leash exploring opportunities here! Our spot is so much more than just a fenced field! The area is diverse and so much fun for your dog(s)! This is a great spot to work on recall. There are a couple areas on the trails that are a little steep, there’s a trail where you have to walk over logs 🪵, and the little creek has to be stepped over in places, so people with limited mobility may have issues in these areas of the spot. There are two bridges over the creek, and we will be adding one more bridge at the far west end of the spot soon. There are plenty of spaces and trails that are suitable for all abilities. If you’re looking for a basic fenced field to play chuck-it then this probably isn’t your spot. We are continually working on our property, so every time you visit you will see improvements! We provide a rain/sun shelter with 4 foldable chairs (message us in advance if you need more chairs and we’ll put them out for you), and lots of supplies including dog toys & balls, poop bags, hand sanitizer, natural bug spray, sunscreen, wipes, hand towels, first aid kit, and a cornhole yard game. We also provide snacks and beverages for humans and doggos! Located outside are 2 zero-gravity reclining chairs, a kids size picnic table, a round metal table w/umbrella & 4 metal chairs, and fresh drinking water for your pups. There are open areas with sun ☀️, and there is shade all day due to many large trees. Our property is VERY secure with 5 to 6 ft fencing. We walk the fence line regularly and check to make sure it’s secure. We are located close-in on the Westside of Vancouver one mile from I-5 on 78th Street in West Hazel Dell near Felida. *It gets muddy in areas when it has been wet/raining outside. We have wood chips along trails and in muddy areas which help a lot! Come prepared so you enjoy your visit. **We recently added 6 solar flood lights in the main field area for those of you who visit after dark. They provide subtle light at the entryway, main field, and the shelter for about 4-5 hrs after it gets dark outside. If you you want to explore the trails after dark we recommend putting a collar light on your dog(s), and that you bring headlamps and flashlights 🔦. ***We recently added a small bridge over the middle section of the creek! We have a shade (or rain) canopy with a picnic table under it, fresh water, toys, and poop bags. :) I have 3 dogs that roam the upper 2 acres of the property, which is my backyard. Sterling (border collie) Piper (border collie) and our newest member Wriggley ( husky mix) SHE was supposed to be a foster dog, but we fell in love with her... If your dogs roam up to the very edge of the Woods where the 4 acres are divided, you will most likely hear my pups if they are outside. We have placed a privacy material along the fencing so that the dogs will not be able to have any contact, but they will see shadows through the material. My pups may bark and run up and down the fence line as you play in the forest if they hear you. The property adjacent to us is the home of two nice dogs. If our neighbors let them into their back field, there is a chance you and your dog will hear them. If you have aggressive or reactive dogs, PLEASE give me a heads up. Fantastic spot all around, although maybe not quite enough running room for my herding dogs. And the personalized sketch was just darling. I absolutely loved the service and communication. I will likely book again on a day where my boys need more of a wonderful change of scene than they need an all out energy draining marathon. Smaller dogs or dogs who aren’t working breeds will absolutely love this spot!

This is our third time visiting. We love this spot! It’s always been so quiet which is perfect because 2 out of 3 of my dogs can be reactive. They had a blast! My one boy especially loved running around with the provided toys.

WOW! Thank you so much for having us, Anne! My 65 lb dog had a great time running around and getting in all the sniffs. It is super secure and quiet, and Anne provides so many amenities for play. The doggie doodle was such an above-and-beyond touch. My high-energy dog had such a lovely time getting out her zoomies that at the end she spent ten minutes on my lap just sitting in the Adirondack chairs taking in the sights. One silly notes: The neighbor's fountain is running so don't be like me and go to the Spot with a full bladder 😆

Not only is the view incredible, but the host is responsive and kind, with a beautiful yard. Fantastic experience and I hope to return since the Sniffspot is close to where I work. This was the best sniff spot so far!!!! We will definitely be back. The view was spectacular and wow, the host goes above and beyond. Snacks, drinks, toys, everything a human and their dog could desire. The yard is more than safe and very clean. Milla our dog had the best time. Wow!! This might be our new favorite spot!! Roo had such a blast, the views were perfect, and the little extra details and art work really made the visit feel special. This is such a cute Sniffspot! Anne has it all decked out - welcome sign, snacks for humans, and treats for dogs! And she cleans every toy used after a session. It is also extremely well fenced, and the view is amazing! My dog had so much fun playing in the yard!

Very clean space, very thoughtful humans. You get what you pay for in the best way, well worth the money. Nice covered space to stand when it rains. Only downside is the gravel, tough for sensitive dog's feet. Doesn't bother some dogs though!

While public dog parks have a number of safety issues, such as aggressive dogs, inattentive owners, disease transmission and general cleanliness, Sniffspot dog parks are much safer than public dog parks. We require that guests sign our waiver and agree to follow our safety rules, such as staying within the designated off-leash areas. Each park location also has their own set of rules that guests need to follow, such as limiting excessive barking.

Will there be other dogs at the Sniffspot fully fenced dog park at the same time as me?

Sniffspot only allows one booking at a time and any host dogs are required to be kept away from the spot during visits. We also enforce 30 min time buffers between bookings.
