If you see cows, you've gone too far! This spot is HUGE! There are two large field areas to run your dog(s). We just needed a space to play fetch and run, and this was absolutley perfect for us. As a conscientious dog owner, I always have water for my dog, waste bags for picking up and always prepared to throw out the waste, so not having those things was not an issue for me. Come prepared to care for your dog. As a city dwelling, working dog owner, I'm so grateful for the use of this spot. Will be back for as long as they'll have us! The height of the grass in the interior of the field is above my knees (I'm 5'6") and the perimeter is still "defined" by tractor tracks with about foot high grass.

Are dog parks good for dogs?
It is important for dogs to have off leash exercise to sniff and run. But the free and open nature of public dog parks has drawbacks. There could be aggressive dogs, disease transmission and cleanliness issues. For this reason, many dog behaviorists discourage visiting public dog parks and recommend Sniffspot's private dog parks. Sniffspot private dog parks only allow one guest to book at a time and are not open to the public, which solves many of these issues.
