55This was our second visit and it was as great as the first. It’s a beautiful woodland with lots of interesting trails to explore. My reactive dog loves it! And I do too since the property is well fenced and very private. Highly recommended!Bonnie B.

55Another lovely hour at Spadoni Hills. Grandkids were enchanted with the Fairy Gardens (as was I!). With the recent rain, everything was fresh and smelled wonderful. My dogs love to explore this Sniffspot. They are big running dogs, so this is their jam!
The ammenities (picnic tables, port-a-potty, water for the dogs, trail signage) make this spot the ultimate. Teri K.

55As everyone else has noted, this is an exceptional Sniffspot! Lots of interesting trails, and no worries about my dog escaping the spot. It took us about an hour to do all of the trails, walking at a leisurely pace (the map that you can grab after parking was very helpful). With all of its shade, it's also a great place to visit on a sunny day. I'd highly recommend visiting this spot!Sara E.

55WOW. This is the most amazing Sniffspot. A true gem with so much space to explore, without worrying about other dogs/people. Even though I’m not located close to this spot, I will still make the drive again just for my pups to enjoy the amazing trails and smells.Kelley W.

55Beautiful property. The trails are fabulous and my pointer and her two furry friends loved it. We did have a mishap at the beginning as Peggy ended up outside of the fence at the end of the ‘Bumpety Road’ which exits out to 84th. She tends to run ahead of me (which is typical of German Shorthaired pointers) though has good recall. She’s not typically a fence jumper but somehow she ended up outside of the fence. Luckily she stayed there when called and I climbed over the gate, leashed her up and we came back in the entrance on 86th. We then just avoided that side of the trails and didn’t have any other issues. My friend had two dogs - one stayed with us and the other - a hound - was a bit too hard to keep track of in there as his recall isn’t good so he went back to the car after 30 minutes. I’d say it’s an excellent place so long as your dog tends to stick close by or has good recall. Now that we’ve done it and know the trails a bit, we will be back!Carrie T.

55Neither rain nor wind stops our visits to this wonderful sniff spot. The host makes it the greatest place we go together. Once their special scarves go on , the excitement mounts until they jump from the car to start exploring and heading for the treat puzzle! Thanks Paul Susan C.

FAQ about our Gig Harbor dog hiking trails
Are dog hiking trails safe?
While public dog parks have a number of safety issues, such as aggressive dogs, inattentive owners, disease transmission and general cleanliness, Sniffspot dog parks are much safer than a city or county park. With a Sniffspot off-leash area all bookings are private for just you and dogs you bring with you and we require all dogs to be vaccinated (or have equivalent titers). All Sniffspot locations are vetted and reviewed by guests so you can find the perfect place for you and your dog. 93% of reviews on Sniffspot visits are 5 stars. Our hiking trails tend to be outside the city, which lends to more privacy, but it is also important to follow typical hiking safety precautions, such as potentially having trail maps.
How can I find dog hiking trails in Gig Harbor?

How do I know if a dog hiking trail works for my dog?
Sniffspot provides the tools to find the ideal spot. Start by applying basic filters, such as fencing 6 feet tall and distractions, to find a dog park with trails that works for your dog. You can also filter by size if you are looking for a certain acre park, an expansive off-leash dog park. If your dog doesn't have good recall, you can visit one of our fully fenced dog hiking trails. If your dog is reactive to other dogs, you can visit one of our dog hiking trails where there are no dogs audible or visible nearby. Since you are looking for trails, make sure to check photos to see if it the spot has flat trails or gnarly trails. You can also browse by specific amenities, if you are looking for a view or a beach, for instance, or other activities or fun features. You can check whether the spot has off or on street parking, the regular park hours, whether it has paved trails or a modern restroom.
What are the requirements to bring my dog to a Sniffspot dog hiking trail?
In order to hike the trails, we require that all dogs have basic vaccinations or equivalent titers. We do not permit dogs with a bite history. We require that guests sign our waiver and agree to follow our safety rules.
Will there be other dogs at the Sniffspot hiking trail at the same time as me?
