The space was lovely and clean, her communications were prompt and kind (I was running late and in a panic and she was the sweetest about it, going so far as to wish me safe travels) and she even put out two huge umbrellas to help shield us from the incoming rain. (Which were very helpful, by the way - they kept all of our belongings dry while we romped in the rain. Thank you again for that!!) My sweet, nearly-14-year-old boy is getting to slow down. Since having to move from our home into apartment living years ago, I've done all I could to get us a place where he would once again have a yard to protect and do all his finest sunbathing, most intense landswims, and best birdwatching.. but it's looking like that won't happen before he leaves for a much bigger adventure. Yesterday, Monica made it possible for him to have a yard again before he embarks on that journey. I had invited my whole family and a photographer friend of mine, which Monica welcomed warmly and without hesitation, and we were able to let him enjoy and experience the space to his heart's content however he liked - all while grabbing up invaluable memories of him and his essence and /finally/ getting those 'dog-included family portraits' we always talked about but never got around to.
