Magical Mossy Forest Sniffspot is a large mystical woodland adventure for dogs in Redmond on the way to Carnation. Boots are recommended in the winter rain. MMF is preferred by puppies, dogs, people, adults and kids alike because it has potable water, power, picnic tables, chairs, several firepits, lit portapotties, 3 swing sets, 3 slides, monkey bars, 3 Forts, a log bridge to cross over Little Ames Creek for when the creek is flowing, a doggy playground, lots of picturesque moss, lighted parking lot, woodchip trails and many footpaths over 5 forested moss covered acres. Parking is near the road, separated by 50 ft of woods, so we suggest that all our doggy friends be leashed until they are on the trails with you. Please leash your dog until into the forest away from the parking area, after that Bob's Your Uncle! Watch kids and dogs in the parking area near the road, and at Ames Creek. A secluded place to dork out and have fun, enjoying a natural Pacific rainforest. Note that the creek is dry in midsummer until the fall and winter rains kick in. Boots are recommended in the fall and winter. Find a map of the main trails in a photo on our MMF Sniffspot site. There are lots of foot trails through the understory ferns. The log bridge can be used to cross Ames Creek, or you can ford it to discover the rest of Magical Mossy Forest Sniffspot. Please pack out doggy bags with you because there is no garbage pickup here, please leave no trace. If there is a downpour and you want to wait it out there is a dry shed in the parking area. Access to power helps keep your batteries charged. Please carry your toilet paper (sorry it walks away). The portapotties are cleaned once a week. It is not totally secured with full fencing so escape artist dogs should not use this pasture, but it is larger and more level than our original pasture.

Welcome to our property where your dog will enjoy the mini trail and creek. We do have 3 dogs as well who enjoy playing in the back but they will be INSIDE the house when u arrive. Here are some instructions for the entrance: 1. You will see a black gate open upon your arrival on the west side where the white mail box is. 2. Pass the speed bump and you will see a parking sign, please park there. 3. You will also see an entrance and sniffspot sign next to park sign. 4. As soon as you start walking towards the back pls feel free to use the whole property 5. Trail is towards the very back of the property for which you will ne guided by the arrows. 6. Creek is located from the entrance where you park your vehicle to all the way across the property. Feel free to use it. Pls be advice on the rainy days the property can get get little muddy in the back so be prepared accordingly.

It’s always been very safe for off leash woodland adventures...because it feels like you have it all to yourself. You begin down at the lower pond by the castle and rock wall, Following a laidback walk in the shade up to the upper pond, woods and off leash park. There is bug spray along the trail in case you forget to use some and want it. Please respect other visitors and make sure to put your doggie bags in the provided trash bins, and PLEASE do not put your doggie bags in the fire pit!!!

Not the app. **Maple Valley Romp-N-Roam can only be booked 2 weeks in advance by non-members if hours are available. **To ensure your visit is an enjoyable experience, please read the entire description of the property, fencing details and my property rules.** *Bookings with multiple dogs- For every 2 dogs beyond 4, an additional adult is required. This helps to ensure the property remains poop-free. Our completely fenced 1.3 acre Sniffspot and completely fenced property perimeter gives you peace of mind that your pups are safe and secure as you let them play and explore. With a gently sloping pasture for running, trees and stumps for exploring, and low-level agility equipment to build confidence on, your fur baby is sure to find something that sparks their interest. When the temps start reaching 80°, the kiddie pool will come out to refresh your pup's paws! The pool will be filled on these hot days sometime between 10:00 and noon and emptied every evening. If you would like a fresh fill for your pup(s) visit, filled for a morning visit or on a day that temps are below 80°, please add it as an "extra" for $6. If we are unable to offer fresh fills on a particular day, the "extra" toggle will be disabled.  Although completely fenced, supervision is always recommended.
