I have a 9 foot privacy fence surrounding most of the yard, which can be latched but is never locked. I have grassy, gravelly, and mulchy areas for the pups and a seating area for the humans. There are no resident dogs, only curious (indoor only) kitties who may peep at you. Let me know if you have questions 😊

We have a fully fenced in yard. There is one gap, but we have covered it with cinder blocks. It is a 6 ft privacy fence, so you shouldn’t see the neighbors. One set of next door neighbors has a dog that is occasionally out. Please keep dogs on leash when outside of the yard. Thank you! Out in the yard there will be balls for your pup to play with, a water bowl, and a hose. We can also set up a tent we use for vendor events when it’s sunny or raining for shade/coverage. Just let us know in advance. There is also shade from a large tree in the yard. If you need a dog first aid kit, we will have one in the house along with things like water for humans, snacks for pups and humans, and a restroom for humans to use. If you need a towel for your pup, let us know, and we’ll be glad to give you a dog towel to use. We will bring things out to you. These are only available if we are home. Street parking is available at all times. You may park in the driveway, but please ask first in case one of us is going to have to leave (or coming back) while you are there.

Lower property offers lake views and animal access from shore (people are not allowed to wade). 5+ acres are mowed, and an additional 2+ acres of trails and foot paths. Quiet and serene location far from roadways or neighbors. Let your dog run leash free or bring your GPS, wireless electric fencing system with you, and relax while your dog roams and discovers. We are animal friendly, but dogs will be inside or gone, and cats will either be inside or find trees while your pet enjoys the space. We do have a pool that is not dog friendly.

Our little slice of heaven is certified a National Wildlife Refuge. We have a large variety of birds and pollinators. We have a walking/bike riding trail, dog sensory gardens, an orchard to pick fruit from when in season, splash pools, agility equipment, horses next door to get to know, meadows to play in and sometimes there are foster puppies to meet. We have lots of spaces for humans to enjoy too; ie firepit ara with lots of seating, a couple picnic tables and various other seating for conversation and gathering.

***Naturally treat our yard in the summer so that our guests can enjoy As a rescuer, I totally understand some dogs just can't do social (myself, most of the time too), so dog park is a No. SniffSpot is an option for those special pooches. Quiet private Oasis for guests, private 100% fenced yard, sloped grass yard with 3 patio area. A lot to sniff, a lot of stairs to work out those legs. Very clean yard since I pick up after my own dogs daily. You can sit and relax or enjoy your book or bring a date. Squirrels and birds will make your visit more exciting. We're only 3 mins from Fenton, 2 mins from Downtown Cary. ***in the summer we add a baby doggie pool, fresh water, right before booking. Fully fenced in backyard in Durham! Plenty of room for a couple of dogs to run around and it's okay if your dog ends up digging at the top of the hill by the trees, our dog does it all the time.

We have a yard and would like to host some friendly puppies to play. Sometimes a bunny shows up, if you're luck your dog will get to chase them. One of the best things about our place is that dogs enjoy running around and playing to their are never out of sight. So you can have a stress free time.
