Horses offer additional entertainment but are always a safe distance with a large space (enough to drive a large truck through) between fence lines. The animals are not reactive to the dogs even when barking at them. The farm animals don't respond to the dogs, so often the dogs move on to exploring the space. We have some simple agility items in the space along with balls and other toys to help entertain both you and your dogs. As a guest, you have access to: * Fully Fenced Acre of play space for off-leash adventures * Water - Lift the green handle to start the flow of water * Poop baggies * White garbage can * Dog towels, clean ones in the clear container, and dirty ones go into the grey tote. We ask you to use 1 towel per visit if possible. * Porta Potty * Shelter with chairs and a small table you can put anywhere in the field during your visit we just ask that you put them back when you are done. * During the summer days we include a doggie pool. They are blue kiddie pools. Double them up when you use them so they are easier to empty and less likely to break. Please dump the pool and return it to the corner when you are finished. I begged for a pug and she let me have Frankie. We are happy to share our yards which have different areas for different Dog needs. Human needs can be taken care of too. We are relatively new to Sniffspot and will be adding new features as we go. Our pictures show how much we have changed since we opened the very snowy end of January. Frankie and I will not be coming out to visit your dogs, but once you leave we will enjoy learning about them on our scent hunt. We believe this will create a lot of interest and fun for us and for your special family members too. A little info about my place, I have safe space to unload and load the doggos. Important to close the gate as you enter and exit the property. Everywhere is fenced. It is 2 acres total, the area that you will be playing in is a very nice long field with a small pool which gets changed between guests, and a larger one that My human adds water to between guests. it looks dirty, however, it is from the sand box and dirt hills that my human made for the dogs to play in. It is too large for her to clean after each guest. There is a water hose with a shower head that you can use for play and clean up as well. Added attraction, MOLES and we love sniffing after them. Be watchful of holes that my human missed filling between guests, she tries very hard to find them, but Frankie is a digger! This is a place for fun , everything is not perfect , but the yard is a lot of fun for Frankie and also for me! We love to explore and sometimes we see deer here and other wild animals! UPDATE: All fences are secure. IF for some reason your dog slips out the farm gate entrance to the sniff spot, the entire property is fenced, and your dog will not get out. There is a shade canopy which will protect from the rain and some chairs to relax in. You may encounter holes because dogs love to dig in the soft turf and the hill of dirt, please let me know if you find some that my human and I have not gotten filled between visits and she will fix that! With so many trees, there will be branches down. I find that the dogs love to pick through those sticks. I try to keep on top of the really big ones, but if you see any let my human know. PLEASE NOTE: If your ball or other toys go over the fence, they now belong to my neighbor! PLEASE You must not go over the fence to get them!! I have other balls and will be happy for you to use them while here, if they go over, I can deal with him later! Thank you for your consideration of my neighbors. The property is a horse ranch on 25 acres surrounded by private forest. There is a shallow year round creek that is refreshingly cold and also a large pond that your dog can swim in. There are hiking trails that start at the edge of the property. The trails are mostly uphill. The outdoor and indoor arenas are available for an extra fee. They are mostly dog proof for large dogs but not escape proof for small dogs. The horses wander around the property early in the morning so if your dog chases horses it should be kept on a leash around the horses. I recommend that I show you around your first time out here. To get here you must be prepared to drive down 5 miles of gravel road. There is a gate to get into the property. The gate code will be sent to you with the welcoming message. Cell phone signals are weak once you get on the gravel so check the pre-visit message sent two hours before the appointment before you get out of cell service.

They're doing a yard project so I didn't realize he sent a note (my fault) that it wasn't a good day for them and we came anyway and used the yard... and he was very gracious. Mostly a grass yard w/ small patio. (It was perfect for my "sweet" foster pittie dog who I want to give outdoor, cheap, leash-free time to. The enclosed, tall, solid fence was great at keeping distractions out. Thx, we will use regularly until he finds a forever home.

Misty had a wonderful first Sniffspot experience! Robert was friendly and helpful, responded promptly, and his yard is perfect for open play with nothing in the way to hurt a big girl like Misty. There were chairs in the sun and shade, and a water bowl and hose available. I love that it was mainly grass, so no worries about mud or sharp rocks. And the location is perfect! Thank you!

We are selling our house and had to be out for several hours. This yard was a great place to hang out with our dogs and have a picnic. We stayed just under two hours and were so thankful to have a nice place to relax. There are chairs, a picnic table (we brought a table cloth), balls and water. Everything we needed to enjoy our time there. There is a dog on the right side of the house that wanted to bark and run the fence with mine, so we just moved from the picnic table to the patio to keep our dog off the fence. It was a great yard without any gaps.

Our first experience with Sniff Spot did not disappoint. Tree Haven in Highland Hills was everything represented - lots trees for some shade and open space for my pup to explore and sniff. Everything was provided from toys and balls to bowls and fresh water. Will definitely return.

Trees, open grass, picnic bench, and fall leaves gave my dogs a lot to explore; it's so pretty too. The tall privacy fence is another nice feature, and the neighborhood itself seems quiet and secure. This was my first Sniffspot visit and I was on the fence about booking a full hour; I'm absolutely glad I did since the dogs had so much fun here! My little whippet tore around gleefully for a long time since there's so much room to run. The only caveat I have is if your dog(s) indiscriminately eat foreign objects: it couldn't be fun prying pinecones and sticks out of their mouths. This spot is clearly maintained, but it'd just be impossible not to encounter those kinds of things considering the trees' presence.

This is a lovely and spacious area. It was a rainy Oregon day, but that didn’t stop the fun! Moose had a ball running around, sniffing, playing fetch, and, of course, rolling in mud! 😆 Highly recommend this spot.

Great. Big. Yard. We have a spastic, leggy mutt that needs to run and there was ample space to do that. Quiet cul-de-sac in already quiet neighborhood. Clean with all amenities as advertised. Just make sure to bring water for your pooch and yourself, if you're into that kind of thing.

With Sniffspot all bookings are private for just you and dogs you bring with you and we require all dogs to be vaccinated (or have equivalent titers).
