Rainy season update: we will continue to be open throughout the winter, even with all the rain. It is going to be muddy, but hopefully not too bad. To cut down on the mud, we won't be taking the tractor in to fill holes, so please watch your step when walking around. Close to downtown Corvallis, come let your dog run free and just be a dog for a little while. Our newly fenced in area is a work in progress and we will be adding more things to do for pups and their humans. Memphis’s meadow is fully fenced with new 5ft field fence. The lowest point is a three foot man gate by the house. It’s beautifully sloping park like setting with large mature trees. There is always shade to be found no matter the time of day. We offer extra amenities and are always open to suggestions! There is a larger 8ft wide stock gate (also secured with woven 5 foot fence) near the parking area. This is marked with a beautiful wood sign and sharing library. Please help yourself. We have two green chairs please feel free to move them around the yard as you wish and a picnic table to enjoy morning coffee, lunch break with your pooch or even a nice evening picnic to watch the sunset. We have added a gazebo for enjoyment on sunny days and rainy day’s alike! Feel free to send us a note if you have a special request or ideas on how to make your visit more enjoyable! As a note, we do have chickens across the driveway from where you access the spot. They are secure in their own space. If you are interested in farm fresh eggs let me know and I can set a dozen out for a small donation. Egg cartons are always welcome!

The property is a horse ranch on 25 acres surrounded by private forest. There is a shallow year round creek that is refreshingly cold and also a large pond that your dog can swim in. There are hiking trails that start at the edge of the property. The trails are mostly uphill. The outdoor and indoor arenas are available for an extra fee. They are mostly dog proof for large dogs but not escape proof for small dogs. The horses wander around the property early in the morning so if your dog chases horses it should be kept on a leash around the horses. I recommend that I show you around your first time out here. To get here you must be prepared to drive down 5 miles of gravel road. There is a gate to get into the property. The gate code will be sent to you with the welcoming message. Cell phone signals are weak once you get on the gravel so check the pre-visit message sent two hours before the appointment before you get out of cell service.

The pastures are cross-fenced, allowing for room to explore but not too far. An indoor riding arena is available as an add-on. It is enclosed on three sides, keeping the wind and weather out during playtime. It is well-lit for evening use. Horses offer additional entertainment but are always a safe distance with a large space (enough to drive a large truck through) between fence lines. The animals are not reactive to the dogs even when barking at them. The farm animals don't respond to the dogs, so often the dogs move on to exploring the space. We have some simple agility items in the space along with balls and other toys to help entertain both you and your dogs. As a guest, you have access to: * Fully Fenced Acre of play space for off-leash adventures * Water - Lift the green handle to start the flow of water * Poop baggies * White garbage can * Dog towels, clean ones in the clear container, and dirty ones go into the grey tote. We ask you to use 1 towel per visit if possible. * Porta Potty * Shelter with chairs and a small table you can put anywhere in the field during your visit we just ask that you put them back when you are done. * During the summer days we include a doggie pool. They are blue kiddie pools. Double them up when you use them so they are easier to empty and less likely to break. Please dump the pool and return it to the corner when you are finished. IMPORTANT SAFETY INFORMATION: This is a field that has uneven ground including mole and gopher holes. Please watch your step. Please keep within the Sniffspot area. If you happen to throw a ball over a fence just message me and I can retrieve it for you. It is important to stay outside of areas marked private property. Those gates also have extra locks, but we want to be sure everyone stays safe. USE OF INDOOR ARENA: During harsh weather (over 95 degrees or winter would be those days of wind and heavy rain) the indoor arena may be an option. Easy to find, easy to park. Decent sized fenced area with a chair, poop bags, a bucket for disposal and clean water for pups. The pasture was fantastic. Really large, easy to walk up and down, lots of space for running around and sniffing about. No animals in sight. Our one dog was very interested in the chicken coop at first, but gave up on it. We had a great time and will definitely be back.

A great space to get out those zoomies! My dog was exhausted after the first 30 minutes. The host provides a smaller portion that is fully fenced as well as a partially fenced VERY large run perfect for fetch. There is also a large field of trees for the puppy to explore. There is a chicken coop and other farm animals were closed off in a barn.

This place is beautiful! There is a smaller fenced section to get the zoomies out and a much larger field to practice recall. From the creek to the pond to the wooded area there are plenty of places for dogs to explore and sniff. I’ve been greeted by Chelsea every time we arrive, there is fresh water in multiple places, the goats chickens and dogs are always safely secured upon arrival. The grass is routinely mowed and this is the perfect spot to take your dog or multiple dogs.

It's a very nice property, was freshly mowed for our visit. There is a little pond and creek, which my dog loved, she left a little muddy, but happy. Chelsea greeted us at the beginning, and explained the layout of her property. There is a fenced area large enough for tossing balls, then a larger area you're allowed to explore, but the back of the larger area is unfenced. We didn't see any of the other animals on our visit. It is nice to have this option in town.

This is a nice big field with plenty of things to sniff! The back 1/3 of it has orchard trees (hazelnuts? My plant ID skills are lacking 🤔). There are quite a few holes, but dogs seemed to avoid them with no effort. Same with mowed down blackberry vines--I caught my foot in one when I wasn't paying attention but dogs were completely unbothered. Fencing is new and excellent -- very secure. There was a bucket plus a bowl of water, there is now a shade canopy over the seating area, poop bags and a secure lined garbage can for "deposits.". Field was very clean - no poop to be seen. I did find one small chunk of broken glass (very old, not sharp) which I threw away. It is exactly what I expected a farm field recently mowed would be like. It's greener than the host's pictures, and some wildflowers are starting to bloom. The dogs and I had a great time!

This is a great spot for any dog to get their exercise, but especially perfect for a reactive dog. We were taking a pup out for the day from the shelter and she loved it. So many new things to sniff! It's fully fenced & wide open with a nice canopy set up with a table and chairs in the shade. Fresh water & poop bags are provided as well as a bin for disposal. It's a nice, quiet, clean, & peaceful area & I would definitely come back

This place is amazing, probably even too big for my 2 tiny pups. The bags and water are a convenient plus. One thing to keep in mind: wear long sleeves, pants and a LOT of mosquito repellent if you’re going past 8pm, the mosquitoes will show you no mercy.

Loved getting my insecure reactive dog out of the house. The area is well fenced, gate is secure, poop bags and the coldest water available. It’s farmland so if your dogs paws are sensitive just watch for uneasiness. There are a lot of gopher holes ? Dog did not have any issues avoiding and sniffing. Great place .
