Take your dog to our homestead and rest in our shaded studio while your dog can explore, sniff, and play in our 10,000 sqft fully fenced pasture. You and your dog(s) will have the pasture to yourselves during your booking. Parking under our carport is for you. To get to the Sniff Spot after parking: 1) Take your leashed dog to the path to the right of our home. Dogs must be leashed to and from your car to the pasture. 2) Once you approach the greenhouse/hoophouse, take the trail to the right and you will see a latched gate. 3) Enter the gate and close it behind you, ensuring it is latched. 4) Let your dog free! 5) Please pick up after your dog. You can dispose of your doggy bag at the brown trash can at Kennedy and our gravel driveway. 6) Please ensure gate is fully latched when you enter and leave. In addition, if you keep your dog leashed, feel free to hike the small network of trails due south of the greenhouse during your visit.

Welcome! We are excited to share our yard with you and your dog! This is a 0.25 acre rectangle of flat land with lush cut grass. Bring your dog(s) to run, play or train. We provide dog water, a few toys, shelter and shade. There are cable spools, weave poles, a tunnel and a jump for your dog to use for confidence building and exercise! 🎄please take a photo of your dog in front of the winter backdrop. As the weather is changing and days are getting shorter please book no later than 6:30pm. 🐶 If you are looking for a quiet and secluded place for your fur babies to play you have found the right spot. This is a great spot for reactive dogs and non socials as I am situated on 5 acres and 2 of the acres are fully fenced for the SniffSpot. My neighbors are very spaced out as well, so u have a very quiet visit. Also a great spot for training ( we have added agility equipment, we have 2 huge tires and an A Frame ladder). 🌳🌲Welcome to Wynshire Woods! 🌲🌳 We feel so blessed to call this property our home, and would love for others to experience the beautiful nature we get to enjoy each day. Wynshire Woods includes over a mile of trails, fallen trees to sniff, hills to climb, and ravines to explore. Our 49 acre property is nestled in the woods, 1/4 of a mile off of the road with parking near our metal barn at the bottom of our driveway. We have over a mile of beautiful trails through hills and trees, with a short and long trail option. The long trail is about a mile long and takes 40-60 minutes to walk. The short trail is closer to 1/3-1/2 miles and takes around 25 minutes to walk. We hope your dog(s) enjoy all the sights, sounds and smells throughout the woods- we have wild turkey, deer, many small wild animals to see, and and have him/her/them go home tired, satisfied and happy. This is a completely unfenced property, and wildlife and farm animals are abundant. Because we have free range chickens and goats up near our home, all dogs must be leashed or on a long line. Part of the trail does go past our fenced goat area. Any dogs who enter our farm area and hurt or traumatize animals will be fined. We do have 4 dogs who are contained to an invisible fence which does not have access to the trails. As long as your dog does not come into their area, there will be no other dog interactions on our property. 🔸🔸🔸🔸🔸 We are going into hunting season, and will be closed on the weekends so my husband can hunt. I will make sure any additional days he’s hunting I have the spot blocked off. For extra precaution (because there are properties neighboring us that people hunt), dogs should be kept on leash through hunting season (Oct 1-Dec 31). I’ve also purchased 2 orange dog vests that I’ll hang up in the hay barn/hut by the parking area that you can use while walking. (You may want to wear an orange hat as well). Just to be clear- no one will be hunting on our property when the trail has open days. I just want to be extra cautious because there are fields/woods outside our property that people do hunt. 😁.

I used to leave a bowl out but not any more due to avoiding respiratory infections. - Plugs on side of garage and under a cover on the deck - Lights available for the deck and on the back of the garage, by request Please try to keep dogs out of the perennial garden by the deck as much as possible, although I understand it’s not plausible at all times. Welcome to our “back 40,” featuring an evergreen alcove, a small wooded walking path, lots of room to run, and tons of sticks to play with. For the humans we have a picnic table and two lounge chairs for relaxation. Special note for June and July: it’s mulberry season, and boy have we got ‘em (fortunately they are not toxic to dogs). Please note that our parking spot and part of our Sniffspot are covered by mulberry trees, so you *will* get berries on your shoes. Dress accordingly! 👍🏼

I have a wooded 8 acre parcel that has a large mowed walking area throughout the space. The only fenced area is my backyard fenced in spot, the rest of the property is not fenced and your dog(s) must be on leash for their safety. There is plenty of wildlife on the property at any given time so be prepared to come across squirrels, rabbits and deer.
