55Wow 🤩 This little slice of Heaven is by far the best Sniffspot Wallace and I have been to! John and Stephanie were the best hosts. The property is amazing and they have really taken the time to upkeep the trails. It felt like our own private State Park. Wallace had such a great time running along the trails and playing in the creek. We will definitely be back! Chelsea S.

55I absolutely love love this place. I've been to several SniffSpots but this one is by far my favorite. The host is super nice. The trails and the cool bridges, the signs that they have made naming each trail. The creek is amazing. Just everything about it is wonderful.Elizabeth F.

55Paradise for us and the pups! John met us when we arrived and kindly gave us a tour of the huge property and a map to stay oriented. The dogs had an amazing time exploring the trails and playing in the creek and fields. We all left a bit muddy from exploring the back trails so I’d recommend wearing the right shoes and bringing a towel — though there is plenty of non-muddy fun if that’s not your thing. We will definitely be back! Lillie W.

55so much fun!! we had the best time!
when you first get there the host will walk you & the pups (on leash) to the section that is the sniff spot.
there’s a map, hooks to hang your bags & leashes, trash bins for poop, etc.
the trails can be kinda steep towards the top but there’s literally a bench around every corner so you can take a break any time you need to.
we stopped at every bench we saw on the way back down so the dogs could investigate thoroughly and we enjoyed a great & unique view at each one.
we did the loop two and a half times and took breaks in the river and my dogs are pooped. they enjoyed sniffing all the best pee spots and zooming across the bridges.
great area for behavior training, building confidence, doing zooms, backpacking practice, etc.
Even our dog that’s scared of the water was willing to check it out here!
if you have T Mobile, be sure to note how you got to the site as service is spotty! Caitlin M.

55This takes Sniffspot to a while new level! Incredible, my friend visiting from CA and I drove from Seattle to check this place out. Beautiful, Stephanie was incredibly welcoming, provided a map, and have us tips to the trails. Porta potties are available and super clean, next to a little puppy location with another map posted. The host let my friend take photos with the highland cow. Creek was a great way to cool down. My friend made the comment that she'd love to enjoy the space even without a dog!Jessica G.

55Absolutely wonderful!!! John’s welcome is always so warm and genuine. My golden retriever has the time of her life sniffing, exploring and running through the paths, creeks, and forest. The little touches John and his wife have done to their beautiful wilderness make it feel welcoming and like a small slice of heaven. Thank you!!!Keri S.

55AMAZING!!! My dog and I had so much fun exploring everything. Very easy instructions and everything is above and beyond marked and mapped for easy use. The whole property was fantastic. John guides newcomers like me to make sure I had my bearings and the lay of the land and all the rules. Afterwards, I got to meet their super friendly Turkey named Teddy and the mom and son highland cows Thistly and Johan (sorry for my misspelling). I am definitely coming back!!! My dog got to be a dog and that was the greatest thing for me. I scheduled 1.5 hours but my pup was tired after 1 hour lol. I can’t say enough great things about the place.K R.

55This place is magical entering the actual Sniffspot area definitely requires control of your leashed dog. Reactivity level extreme for high prey and inexperienced pups. We fall into this category. But never fear John is there to greet you and escort you to the spot through the field of steer, turkey? Chickens and goats. Excellent training opportunity. Once across the field and through the gate to the sniff spot , it is a wonderland of doggy joy.
HUGE area. Creeks ,trails ,benches woods, bridges, grassland. We made it up to the cabin this time, which is not far at all. We still have so much to see. We wanted to use this visit to focus on the dogs playing in the creek without being on a leash. And working on their recall. The creek area we were playing in was only about 100 or so yards from the fence and farm animals. Great training experience. We highly recommend bringing a lunch and just enjoying your dogs and the fresh air and beautiful property. It is the perfect place to just chill or training or both.
Next visit we will book 2 hoursAngel A.

55What a beautiful spot. John was cordial and very helpful. There was a perfect spot to let all four of my dogs off leash safely. We had a blast and I had some tired and grateful pups at the end of the 2 hours. You’ve got to check this place out! Stacy V.

55Always a great Sniffspot! It has everything I want for my reactive dog: privacy, water and interesting woodland trails. We’ve been coming here for almost 4 years and over that time Stephanie and John have continued to make improvements. Just when I think they can’t make it any better, they take it up a notch! Most recently they added port-a-potties. A most welcome addition! Thank you!Bonnie B.

55The best sniffspot ever! We loved all the hand made signs and bridges. John has a put a lot of work into the sniffspot. The creek going through multiple parts of it was awesome. It was like a private hike. I recommend going for at least 1.5hrs. The farm animals you walk past to get inside was a cool experience too. John was friendly and provided us a custom map. The dogs had a blast! Definitely coming back.Kacie J.

FAQ about our Enumclaw dog hiking trails
Are dog hiking trails safe?
While public dog parks have a number of safety issues, such as aggressive dogs, inattentive owners, disease transmission and general cleanliness, Sniffspot dog parks are much safer than a city or county park. With a Sniffspot off-leash area all bookings are private for just you and dogs you bring with you and we require all dogs to be vaccinated (or have equivalent titers). All Sniffspot locations are vetted and reviewed by guests so you can find the perfect place for you and your dog. 93% of reviews on Sniffspot visits are 5 stars. Our hiking trails tend to be outside the city, which lends to more privacy, but it is also important to follow typical hiking safety precautions, such as potentially having trail maps.

How do I know if a dog hiking trail works for my dog?
Sniffspot provides the tools to find the ideal spot. Start by applying basic filters, such as fencing 6 feet tall and distractions, to find a dog park with trails that works for your dog. You can also filter by size if you are looking for a certain acre park, an expansive off-leash dog park. If your dog doesn't have good recall, you can visit one of our fully fenced dog hiking trails. If your dog is reactive to other dogs, you can visit one of our dog hiking trails where there are no dogs audible or visible nearby. Since you are looking for trails, make sure to check photos to see if it the spot has flat trails or gnarly trails. You can also browse by specific amenities, if you are looking for a view or a beach, for instance, or other activities or fun features. You can check whether the spot has off or on street parking, the regular park hours, whether it has paved trails or a modern restroom.
What are the requirements to bring my dog to a Sniffspot dog hiking trail?
In order to hike the trails, we require that all dogs have basic vaccinations or equivalent titers. We do not permit dogs with a bite history. We require that guests sign our waiver and agree to follow our safety rules.
