Our beautiful very scenic Barkley Park sits on over 5 acres, just 3 miles from Old Town Lake Stevens. A little over an acre is securely and newly fenced for your dogs to free run for safe exercise. Our large acreage is open for you to explore and walk as well. We are not an amusement park of entertainment, we are peaceful safe alternative for you to enjoy peace and quiet in a lovely setting. Enjoy different places to sit and take in the landscape and open spaces of nature while your dogs gets to play and safe exercise. A lovely place for a picnic. Our park has both sunny areas, and shady areas at all times of the day. Please do not pick or disturb the fruit and fence lines. Fetch on a few different long, and large lawns that are non fenced, off leash, for those that are in full control of the friendly dogs. We are off the road and a safe, quiet, very private property. No mud ever, all of our property drains properly and is well maintained. We have plenty of parking, our setting is very private above large homestead acreage quiet farmland fields of the Schwarzmiller River Valley, Barkley Park is just 3 miles from old town Lake Stevens. To enter the fenced Sniffspot follow the red reflectors up the grassy lawn hill past the large livestock gate that’s at the top, go around the top corner there is a people sized gate. Easy to find, easy to enter our fenced Sniffspot. Easy latch for coming, and going. If you choose to be adventurous you may choose to visit the forest area behind the fenced area. It’s a steep hill up with natural woodland ground, lots of ferns, beautiful nature untouched. Old trails exist, we have not cleared them in recent years, feel free to explore them if you would like to just know, they are not maintained and certain times of year there is brush and ferns. We have running water with a hose for your convenience at our pump house. You may occasionally see myself, my husband or my elderly mother by the house, and patio, working on the property and gardens, area around our home. We live above farms that takes care of their fields so you may hear mowing in the distance in the valley we set above. Please do not pick, or disturb the fruit on the trees. Please keep children, and all guests off the fence line, and do not step on the gates or fencing. Shut the gates when coming, and going. Please leash your dog/dogs upon arrival until you become aware of the setting. Your reservation must include the correct number of dogs in your visit that is stated in your reservation time. Correct or update this if need be before you start your visit at Barkley Park. We are happy to share our safe quiet countryside with pups and their people. We do not meet our Sniffspot guests, with that being said, feel free to send us a text or ask if you need help with anything. Enjoy! We do offer pet boarding in our home for select clients. Everything our pup enjoys in life, is available to your pet, including a big pillow bed in the heart of our home.

Our facility has a fenced off-leash Dog Park with Agility Equipment with unfenced on-leash grassy potty area just outside. Our agility course is complete with multiple single jumps, A-frame, dog walk, tunnel, teeter and weave poles. On-leash trail walk through our wooded trails behind the dog park for a small additional fee. Cedarbrook Farms is a 60 acre farm with about half of this acreage as wooded trails behind the dog agility park. The main trail loop is to the right and is maintained (however there are two wet spots, we recommend you wear boots in the rainy season), the loop to the left may or may not be maintained. You can access the main loop out the back gate of the dog park (be sure to close and secure the gate behind you) or if you go out the front dog park gate, walk around towards the back of the dog park and hang right when you see trail options. There are single track cross through trails through the center of the main loop that you can explore at your leisure as well. The main loop is about a 10-15 minute walk depending on your pace. Dogs must remain on leash at all times in the unfenced areas, horses/dogs share use of these trails. There is a portapotty available on site at the main arena barn, please have your dog in the car prior to approaching the arena barn area. We also have Cedarbrook Veterinary Care, veterinarian Dr. Hannah Mueller, on site and offer canine acupuncture, chiropractic, SCENAR and Theraplate. The table next to the fenced area has a mailbox with hand sanitizer and other goodies, there is also a water\food bowl available. The road next to the fenced area is privately owned, so the only people and vehicles that pass by are residents and delivery couriers but they are not very visible due to the difference in elevation. People occasionally pass by on the public trail and some do bring their pets, but it is mostly obscured from view by the trees on our property and separated by two sets of fences. Please keep your dogs on a leash through the first field while we are working on improving the fencing and the area if recall is not good. ** This beautiful 2-acre spot is fully fenced - 4-5' high, gates 4' high. There are potentially 2 areas that you can use right next to each other (fenced in between). Please note that the first Pasture that you come to does have an area where dogs can potentially get through and back to the gravel road. It is right inside the first gate on your right in the forest area there. The great thing is we are not near any sort of busy road. One thing to note is that my neighbor on the adjoining property has friendly, smaller dogs, and they do bark from time to time. You really can't see them all that much as there is brush, sticker bushes, and trees in between our properties. That said, you may hear them from time to time. What I find that works in quieting them up is to just walk over and talk to them. We welcome dogs that have different anxieties as well as being dog reactive and people reactive. There have been many people here with their dogs who have done just fine. There is a spigot with fresh clean well water, next to the clawfoot tub inside second pasture. We also have a bowl there for your use. We have wood for you to purchase, should you desire a fire while there. There are plenty of chairs and benches for folks to sit on. This place is perfect to get some exercise for your dogs without worrying they might go somewhere they shouldn't. Although very small dogs could go through the fence spacing if they want, so if you have very small dogs just keep an eye on them. The hosts have the essentials out and more. We really appreciated the water and bowl they left for our doggies and the water bottle for us humans ☺️

First time visiting this spot and will return on weekends when we can. It’s a bit of a trek from Bothell but very nice and easy to find. My reactive dog thoroughly enjoyed every minute; most importantly no other dogs or animals could be seen or heard. Only thing I’d caution is if you’re playing fetch with your dog it’s easy for the ball to roll through the fence. Would be nice if the first foot or two was covered to prevent this. Ultimately, not a big deal on the side where you enter the gate but if it rolled through and on the left side it would be hard to retrieve the ball.

Such a beautiful spot to bring our super active Saluki mix! She had so much space to run, plants to explore, toys to play with, a giant water bowl (with extra water for us too), and super clean and comfortable spaces to relax. We even brought our kids and it felt extremely safe and comfortable. Not to mention the host is super kind and attentive to their space! We will definitely return!

This is an absolute gem of a place!! Not only is the fenced acre immaculately maintained, but the owners sweetly included fresh water for both the pups and the humans, along with many fun toy options for the dogs. Corrine greeted us upon arrival and we ended up having a lovely conversation with both her and her husband. Then the dogs went off to play!

Absolutely beautiful spot close to home! My 4 month old puppy was in heaven running as fast as she could after the frisbee. Well maintained and lovely space. *be aware if your pup is smaller, like mine (15lbs) they can fit between the squares of the fence. Once she’s full grown it won’t be a problem. Luckily Savvy follows commands pretty well so she stayed close.

Beautiful grounds. Beautiful place to sit and relax while the dogs play. Can see Mt Pilchuck through the trees and hear all different kinds of birds singing all around. It’s a slight incline to walk to get to the gate to use the fenced area. The grass is very well maintained and landscaping is PNW natural but manicured just enough. I haven’t encountered any mud anywhere the 2 times I’ve been so that’s a definite plus. This park is in between mine and my BFF’s house so it’s the perfect meeting place to take our fur babies for an hour after dropping off our kids at school in the morning. Nothing but good things to say about the place :)

This is a fabulous property with a beautiful secure fence, large grass area perfect for playing and running and is so clean and nicely maintained! Very private and lots of thoughtful touches- water bottles, seating areas and toys and balls! Our dogs had a blast!

We had a great time at Barkley Park! The property is absolutely gorgeous and you can tell there's a lot of love and care put ino making this forest environment feel safe, and it's so pleasant to spend time there. This is one of the top spots for us! It's absolutely beautiful, peaceful, and well maintained. Fresh water for the pups and their humans! Pork Chop loved his visit there. We are going to try and come at least once a week. The drive there was no problem, and the directions were on point.

Great location and a large fenced in area. Very private and no interaction with people or other animals which is very helpful for our dog. One thing I would note is that our dog is noise reactive/phobic and there is probably some hunting grounds or a shooting range somewhere nearby which did set him off while we were there. Other than the nose from that it is a great Sniffspot.

We had an amazing time at Barkley park! Thanks for sharing your beautiful yard with us. The fenced area was very well maintained and big enough to tire our large doggo. Corinne was really thoughtful in sharing detailed directions to get to and around the place. Help was also available to guide us to the fenced area when we got there. Really appreciate the privacy we got to exercise our reactive pup. Also appreciate the bottles of water for dog and humans both and the dog toys:) Will definitely be back for more visits!

Loved this spot for our dogs. Plenty of room to run within the fenced area and the pups were tuckered out by the end of our hour. Even though it's been very rainy, the grass was mostly dry and not muddy at all (whew!). We met Corinne and she was super sweet. We'll come back for sure!
