This sniffspot is amazing. Thanks, Sylvia! The dogs had a blast. They ran laps around the property and even went into the pond for good measure. The space is beautiful, relaxing, and has lots of spots to sit in nature. The covered shelter was great for when we got hit with the downpour. Thanks again. We'll be back.

Sylvia has a beautiful spot for dogs to play! Our dogs especially loved her large pond! They had an absolute blast! There is a partial barbed wire fence around the property, but the play area is behind her house and well back from the quiet road in front of the house. Sylvia is a great host. I had a few questions as a new Sniffspot user and she answered them very promptly! Thank you Sylvia!

We had such a fantastic and relaxing time at Sylvia's spot this morning. This spot has almost anything you would want - water features and streams to splash in, forest trail, open areas for fetch and even a treehouse! Very clean, private, and easy to find. Balls, poopbags and chairs for humans to sit. we can't wait to come back. Thank you so much!

Although it was a bit chilly this kornong, we still lobed our time here at Sylvia's place. It was so peaceful. We plan to visit often and live it here. :)

Sylvia's Dog Park in Shawnigan. Sylvia's dog park is an amazing and fun private dog park just off Shawnigan/Mill Bay Road, about 20 minutes from Duncan. Sylvia's dog park is a beautiful spot, with lots of ponds and streams, a very large play area and forest with a trail. We had an amazing time. There are seats throughout for the feeble like myself to rest and watch the dogs play as well . Sylvia's is also a beautiful place to hold a wedding! Try this place! It is not fully fenced so don't bring any wandering dogs. There are no people or dogs present in the area. Thank you Sylvia for allowing my rowdy bunch to have a great time!

What a beautiful place to be able to bring our dog 😍🥹🐶 Homer was able to do lots of sniffing while running around on a long-line. He played in various water spots and LOVED jumping into the pond to fetch his stick. We finished off with some recall training. Thank you for noting the cattle fence in your description. We were mindful to keep him away from it and knowing it was there made that possible. We can’t wait to bring him back for another visit - he had such a great time. Being able to bring a reactive dog to a private space relieves so much of the stress that accompanies walking in public places. What an amazing place for Homer to explore safely. ☺️ This was the first time Homer has gone swimming since we adopted him and it was so fun for him and us. 🐶🥹

My dogs thoroughly enjoyed their time here!! So many things to do and sniff. Creeks to jump, logs to jump over, ponds to swim. They were exhausted on the drive home, which was the goal 😁 Definitely booking again

Great spot, we will definitely be returning! It has the woods and a sizable field to use for training and play, as well as ample resources toys, clean water, poop bags, etc.

We had a wonderful time at Barb’s sniffspot! Barb greeted us when we arrived and provided orientation to the space - she was very friendly and welcoming. The space was huge, securely fenced in. Fresh water for pups and humans and lots of balls to play fetch. Our dogs loved racing through the forest together. It was great to see our pups so happy and joyful to have so much space to play and explore together while in a safe environment. The field and forest are pretty grassy so definitely recommend wearing closed shoes and not sandals like we did, and probably pants not shorts too.
