55Such an awesome space that feels like being deep out on a trail hike. The dogs loved playing in the stream and exploring along the path. A great time for our two reactive/shy dogs! Also great for rainy days as the tree canopy provides some good coverageCevo V.

55such a lovely, semi secluded space for a reactive dog (or any dog really) to practice off leash hikes and recall! I don't take my dog on trails often because of all the what ifs, so this eased my mind knowing there won't be off leash dogs or anything else that would endanger my dog or others. there's also a nice little creek that would be great in hotter months and peaceful to listen to. It was very easy to find, well maintained, and a great walk/area to spend some time in. We will definitely be back!Juliana M.

55Awesome spot for my two dogs to run and play together. The hiking trail, stream, play toys and natural beauty combined into a perfect play spot for my pups. 10/10 would recommend! Very secluded and perfect if you had a reactive dog like mine. Joseph&Kaley R.

55Incredible close in spot for dogs with good recall. They loved zooming up and down the trails and cooling off in the creek! A coyote did wander through while we were here - exercise caution with small dogs or wildlife chasers.Emily P.

55Absolutely beautiful spot that they are working to restore with more and more native plants. My dog has great recall and likes to travel along paths so this was a great spot for her. She loved finding sticks to chew and exploring the creek a bit. Laura M.

55Amazing spot!! My dog loved the trails and running through the water! Perfect spot for you and your pup to get some exercise in! Loved that there are a couple of chairs by the water too! Had a little moment to chill, have a snack and take in all the sounds. You can see there was a lot of time spent on making the trails and keeping it up! Super clean and beautiful property! CJ B.

55Like you’re out of the city and in the woods! My dogs are reactive so it’s hard to go on nature walks and not run into other dogs, often off leash. This spot was so quiet and lovely, with a little treat basket at the start of the trail. I kept my dogs on long lines and they lead the way down the small path and to the stream. Some parts of the path were a little steep so might be tricky for those with mobility concerns, but we loved it and got in a little workout! We shall be back!Melissa A.

55Super great spot, will be one of our new regular places. I have a very (very) reactive rescue who cannot enjoy forest walks if he can hear or see any other dogs or humans. This place feels super private and like you’re in the middle of forest park with no other people around. Alana M.

55Amazing spot! For humans and dogs! We had a great morning. Sam is still working on recall, so we kept him on a 20 foot leash so he could frolic in the creek and practice coming when we called him. So exciting for him, so peaceful and beautiful for me. Thank you for sharing your spot with us!! We will be back. Kelly W.

55We both thoroughly enjoyed the outing. Very serene and picturesque spot without worldly noises or distractions. The trail is easy to moderate and well groomed but I would leave your Chuckit at home as balls could get easily lost. We will be backKirk C.

55Great spot! When you pull up into the driveway there are two small signs labeled “pooch path” by the pathways showing you which way to go. - one on each side of the driveway. We took the path to the right because I didn’t notice the pooch path on the left- we will definitely explore that side the next time we visit.
The space is perfect for dogs who like to explore the woods and play in creeks. My dog loved it. He got a good workout exploring the woods. Thank you for sharing your space with us. Anna C.

FAQ about our Woodland dog water parks
Are dog water parks safe?
While public dog parks have a number of safety issues, such as aggressive dogs, disease transmission and general cleanliness, Sniffspot dog parks are much safer than public dog parks. With Sniffspot all bookings are private for just you and dogs you bring with you and we require all dogs to be vaccinated (or have equivalent titers). All Sniffspot locations are vetted and reviewed by guests so you can find the perfect place for you and your dog. 93% of reviews on Sniffspot visits are 5 stars. If you are worried about whether you can have an enjoyable water experience, just know that it is possible to have peace of mind when visiting dog waterparks by following basic safety guidelines. Some great ways to stay safe around water with your dog include learning canine CPR and keep an eye on your dog at all times to ensure they are not distressed. There are 26 dog water parks in the Woodland area. The most popular dog water park is Happy Pawz Dog Park In Woodland. You can browse all of our dog water parks here.
How do I know if a dog water park works for my dog?
Start by applying basic filters, such as fencing and distractions, to find a dog park that works for your dog. If your dog doesn't have good recall, you can visit one of our fully fenced dog water parks. If your dog is reactive to other dogs, you can visit one of our dog water parks where there are no dogs audible or visible nearby. Make sure to review the amenities of the spot to see what kind of water features are offered to make sure it works for your dog. If your dog is not a strong swimmer, then perhaps choose a dog water park with tamer water features rather than a river or beach, for instance. We also recommend reading reviews and reaching out to the host with any questions, and of course, checking water park hours.
What are the requirements to bring my dog to a Sniffspot water park?
We require that all dogs have basic vaccinations or equivalent titers. We do not allow dogs with a bite history. We require that guests sign our waiver and agree to follow our safety rules. Additionally, we recommend following our water safety guidelines.
