The Boring Barking Lot - Dog Park

PLEASE READ: Hi! My name is Theresa. I recently started my sniffspot and love sharing my property with you and your doggos to enjoy. We will provide you and your best friend ( friends) with two acres of fully fenced property for your dogs to run free! Part of the property is Forest, where your dogs can forage, roam amongst the trees, dig, or just take in all the smells. Our visitors tell us It's the best of both worlds with the woods to roam and open areas to play fetch or practice on some of the agility equipment . Our space is very peaceful and beautiful, with lots of texture. We have a shade (or rain) canopy with a picnic table under it, fresh water, toys, and poop bags. :) I have 3 dogs that roam the upper 2 acres of the property, which is my backyard. Sterling (border collie) Piper (border collie) and our newest member Wriggley ( husky mix) SHE was supposed to be a foster dog, but we fell in love with her... If your dogs roam up to the very edge of the Woods where the 4 acres are divided, you will most likely hear my pups if they are outside. We have placed a privacy material along the fencing so that the dogs will not be able to have any contact, but they will see shadows through the material. My pups may bark and run up and down the fence line as you play in the forest if they hear you. The property adjacent to us is the home of two nice dogs. If our neighbors let them into their back field, there is a chance you and your dog will hear them. If you have aggressive or reactive dogs, PLEASE give me a heads up. In most cases It is possible for me to bring my dogs in to avoid distractions in your play time. We hope to see you soon! Theresa

End of the sidewalk play yard

Just opened! Gate to enter on Bull Mountain Rd, on the northwest side of the property. We have a fun cattle gate that slides open. Duck your head and walk on up a wooden boardwalk to the backside of our yard. The fenced in area includes all of the backyard up to the landscaped area next to the house. Feel free to roam and run across the back section. This is stick-topia. A stick for every pup that wants one. Feel free to take one home with you We will compost the dog waste, please just scoop up the poo with the provided shovel and add to the bucket. We will take it from there. There's a swing for humans, please enjoy. I am working on building a nice little shelter, but for now enjoy the cover the beautiful Douglas fir trees provide.

Contact me privately to obtain your booking code. Our SS is a wide open space where your dog can run and play. Please DO NOT bring an unvaccinated dog to our SS. PLEASE keep an eye on your dog(s), not your phone... Unfortunately we have found missed messes, so please monitor your doggos. if you forget poop bags, we have extra in the old milk box next to the porch steps -feel free to use any toys you find in the SS! Absolutely no digging is allowed. Please do not allow your dog to dig holes. Private areas: the house including the porch, and wrap around garden. Water is provided* 1- the hose/hydrant near the gate. (Located to the left of the gate as you enter!) 2- green bowl at top of driveway *unless freezing weather Please the area east of the driveway and behind the house and have a good time exploring and playing! There are bunnies, cats and squirrels on the property so we ask that you please restrain your dog for the first 30 seconds or so when entering the property to give those animals a chance to react to the presence of a new animal. Allowing your dog to chase cats or wander up onto the house's porch are not allowed. We appreciate your business and love your dogs, just encourage them to avoid the porch and gardens please. Leave any hose running if found that way (summer). Residents of the home may come and go during your reservation. We are mindful of your space, and we are careful to ensure the gate is kept closed. Welcome to NE Portland Dog Getaway! We provide a luxurious .25 acre backyard. The yard is fully fenced in, and most of the gate is at a height of 6 feet and 3 inches. The entrance gate is 5 feet 1 inch. There is a section in the corner, where the ground goes higher, and the fence sits at 3 feet 6 inches. The other side gate is at 5 feet 10 inches. Additionally, two of the 3 neighbors do have dogs, but only let them out occasionally. If they hear another dog, they usually take them inside.
