55Loved it! Our greyhound and our 2 chiweenies had so much fun running everywhere! We were met as we parked and given a walk-through of the area. Animals were present but far enough away to not stress the dogs and provide interest for them. Was a great experience!Rachel E.

55We loved this spot! The farm happenings are far enough away that other than the rooster making noise, you wouldn’t even know other animals were there. Absolutely recommend this spot to everyone. We will for sure be back. Connor H.

55Very clean, lots of room and beautiful area for the furry companions to run play and have fun. A small stream runs through the middle and our 1 dog thought it was the best thing ever. He played his heart out in that stream and was a happy boyCori Y.

55This spot is massive, open, and beautiful. There’s not a ton of shade but on the edges you can cool off under the trees on a hot day. Dogs had a great time and loved the open hilly field. I’m always worried about my high prey drive dogs escaping and I’d say it was 95% secure. The gate we exited through was right by the ducks so my GSD tried to wiggle his way through the bars. After telling the owner, he said he’d put some chicken wire on it so that’s great for future visits. The parking was a bit difficult. It would be helpful if we could park closer to the entrance and avoid being so close to loose chickens and farm dogs. Overall everyone enjoyed our time and will visit again. Thank you!Rachel H.

55This is a fantastic spot for my herding dogs! And for a major bonus, they gave my bored teen a tour of the animal barn. Completely unexpected because it is a working farm, so I am sure they are super busy folks, but Makaylee’s kindness is very appreciated.
It’s very much pasture land, so it’s marshy in spots and dotted with mole holes. Less good for chasing a tennis ball across, but really fantastic for a hike, explore, and smell. I intend to make this spot a regular visit in my ongoing effort to tire out my boys!Jill B.

55Our dogs had such a fun time exploring the ranch. We went on a very wet day, but still had a great time! The fenced area is separate from their animals, so had no issue with them being distracted. Kaitlin H.

55My dog had a blast! He especially loved the puddle at the end of the stream that flows through the field. I got to meet some mischievous goats 😁. This is a great spot for rainy/overcast days, I can imagine it getting really hot during the summer as there’s almost no shade. The field is massive and there are lots of holes, so wear sturdy footwear and just something to be mindful of when your dog is running around. There were a million smells for my dog to sniff, he had the best time. Chantalle v.

55This is such a fun working farm with friendly and gracious hosts. We had a great time playing frisbee in the fenced pasture and the dogs cooled off in the little creek in the middle. Definitely will come again! Robin L.

55Makaylee was a fabulous host, and took the time to explain the hazards in the pasture, which include hard-to-see holes (small and large) and two gates with large gaps, nearest to the barn. My dog had a wonderful time, and the field was large enough that we just stayed away from the two gates that were an issue (also, Makaylee and partner were working in the barn, so I felt confident that they'd help me if my dog squeezed through). Plus, there's fencing around the barn. The fencing around the whole perimeter of the field is really sound! Aislyn M.

55My pups had a blast running around and exploring the pastures at Renee ranch farms! Things to think about when brining your pups- this is an active farm so there is cow poop in the pasture and my dogs were adamant about snacking on it and even rolling in it lol. There are lots of holes in the pasture as well which would make me a little nervous to play fetch, however my dogs were too busy sniffing and exploring to be interested in their balls! Hosts were lovely and the property is beautiful. My dogs were tired, happy pups after our visit!Audrey B.

55We loved visiting today! Glad we got a visit in before May 1st! The large field offers so much to sniff and lots of room to frolic! There are holes but if you are paying attention it wont be an issue. Also the pups love sniffling them. Erin A.

FAQ about our Sherwood dog fields
Are dog fields safe?
If you are looking for an adventure, but also looking for safety, Sniffspot dog fields are a great option. While public dog parks have a number of safety issues, such as aggressive dogs, distracted dog owners, disease transmission and general cleanliness, Sniffspot dog parks are much safer than public dog parks. With Sniffspot all bookings are private space for just you and doggy friends you bring with you and we require all dogs to be vaccinated (or have equivalent titers). Especially for training, privacy is ideal. Contrary to public dog parks, all Sniffspot locations are vetted and reviewed by guests so you can find the perfect place for you and your dog for off leash exercise or outdoor training. 93% of reviews on Sniffspot visits are 5 stars, while public dog parks often do not even have verified reviews. All payment is done securely online by credit card in a few simple clicks.
How can I find dog fields in Sherwood?
There are 83 dog fields in the Sherwood area. The most popular dog field is Bark Park. You can browse all of our dog fields here.
How do I know if a dog field works for my dog?
All park rental information is available online. Start by filtering parks by fencing, size and distractions, to find a private spot that works for your dog. If your dog has poor recall, you can visit one of our secure fields. If your dog is reactive to other dogs, you can visit one of our dog fields where there are no dogs audible or visible nearby. You can review the details of the listing to make sure it works as your desired activity space, for example, safe dog exercise, dog training, a stress-free adventure with your furry friend or even a puppy event. You can even check the park amenities chart for amenities such as indoor training facilities, agility field, synthetic turf, exercise balls or field parking availability in advance. If inclement weather is an issue or poor field conditions, you can reschedule your visit up to 2 hours in advance.
What are the requirements to bring my dog to a Sniffspot dog field?
We require that all four-legged friends have basic vaccinations or equivalent titers. We do not allow dogs with a bite history. We require that guests sign our waiver and agree to follow our safety rules. Make sure to check host rules before visiting to ensure, for instance, that you are following allowable sports activities rules and any special events rules.
Will there be other dogs at the Sniffspot field at the same time as me?
No. Facility rentals are for private play time and any host dogs are required to be kept away from the area during visits, so this is perfect for a private adventure for you and your doggie friends, and perhaps a human friend. Hosts understand that many guests have dogs in training and are nervous owners. So when you book a Sniffspot dog field you have the entire private spot to yourself. We also enforce 30 min time buffers between time slots so you will not run into other guest dogs or a previous person when coming or leaving in the field parking area. Some hosts may have multiple fields, but there is always a buffer between fields.
How much do Sniffspot fields cost?
Dog fields in the Sherwood area range from $12.0 and $12.0. The least expensive dog field is Bark Park. The most expensive dog field is Bark Park. Each host sets their own price, so you can check the price on the specific Sniffspot dog park listing.
