We offer over 1 acre of fully fenced play yard and 10+ acres of UNFENCED trails, pond and woods. Enjoy a picnic on the bank of the pond or bring your fishing pole and catch a fish! Groups are welcome...so reserve a friend or two! We do limit cars to 2 per reservation or with advanced notice more are allowed. Also, speed limit on our long gravel drive is 10 MPH. We have a water spigot inside dog lot near steps. Please DO NOT use the water spigot in the open field near edge of driveway (handle will not cut off water supply!) No bowls provided due to sanitation so please bring a water bowl. Our property is over 0.2 miles from any public road. Enjoy the quiet country setting and have fun!

Tucked away in the heart of Stanly County, this fully fenced backyard is a peaceful, pup-friendly haven where tails can wag freely and noses can explore to their heart’s content. Your pup will love roaming beneath the feathery shade of a blooming mimosa tree, chasing sunbeams or simply stretching out in the cool grass. Humans can relax on the deck, where there’s a table and chairs waiting for you to sit back and soak it all in. Need a drink break or cleanup? We’ve got water bowls available and easy hose access for cooling off or muddy paw rinses. There’s also a small cut flower garden you’re welcome to visit - feel free to snip a few blooms to brighten your day! 🌼 We do have two friendly resident dogs, but don’t worry, they’ll be inside during your visit to give your pup the run of the space.

The full four acres are surrounded by a 5 foot fence and there is a small creek running through the property. There is a wide spot in the creek that is easily the most popular spot for our canine visitors! In the summer, though, the creek dries up until the fall rains come. You can always message us to find out if there is water in the creek before your visit. There are larger fields and open areas for your dogs to practice their retrieving, and there are many paths in the woods for hiking. The beginning of each path is marked with quartz stones to show you the way. You will also find several benches scattered throughout the property so that you can take a load off while your dogs run and play. When it rains the property can be quite wet in some areas, so bring boots and a towel to clean off your muddy (but happy!) dog. There is a full competition size agility field within the four acres. The agility equipment is completely fenced in and will be accessible only to those who have had at least one formal beginner's agility class. This is to keep you and your dog safe and to prevent misuse of the equipment. Please message the host when you book the spot and before your first visit to discuss your agility experience if you are wanting to access the equipment. **I would really like for your first visit to be on a weekend or a Tuesday (my day off) so that I can meet with you to show you some details about the property and discuss parking. After the first visit, book whenever you want! If you absolutely cannot make it these days for your first visit, we can work something out. 🙂

We are not UPSCALE. ALL BREEDS WELCOME. There is fun for Small and Large dogs. We are NOT a good fit for a reactive dog. We share a fence with our neighbors that have 2 small dogs. There are plenty of other Sniffspots that will suit your reactive dog’s needs. We are located in Southern Guilford County, just 2 miles off Interstates 85 and 73 and 5 miles from Wendover Ave with easy access. We have a water spigot on the property, free puppy pool, hose and spraying fire hydrant. We now have the Sunflower She Shed with an 8 foot covered porch with fan and an air conditioned and heated interior room with refrigerator, microwave and snacks to purchase. We have comfortable furniture including a wonderful glider in the shade, several benches with cushions, a hammock, zero gravity recliner, pillows and a lounging blanket are always included. We have no cameras. Your privacy is very important to us. Your dog can do nothing wrong here. Let them Dig, Bark, Sniff and Play. Everything begins at our Sunflower She Shed. You will find everything you need there. For people Extras are available such as snacks and cold drinks and frozen ice cream found in the Sunflower She Shed refrigerator/freezer.
