55Sara’s spot was great! The fence felt super secure for my 65lb boy but little dogs might be able to sneak through. She was super helpful and communicative as well! Jamie O.

55Very beautiful setting. Perfect for well behaved dogs. Not mine, though. 🙈Unfortunately we had to leave after 5 minutes because the neighbors dog poked his head through the fence and threw a fit - my dog is reactive so he, in turn, through a fit - this couldn’t work for us. I also had to have my dog on a leash because he finds places to escape and there is a gaping hole at the entrance gate. But if your dog is fine with other dogs and obeys you - it’s well worth the drive. Hosts responded quickly to messages on how to enter. Linn D.

55Nice big open space that is right off the road, and the hosts have a nice little table and chairs set out with dog essentials. Lots of trees and things for dogs to sniff. Fencing was good for our 50lb boys and some bordering blackberries keep a natural barrier anyway. A friendly neighbor dog was very interested in our reactive dogs, which made it a good chance to train but reactive dogs wanting to play could do better in a different setting.Megan W.

55We had an amazing time. There’s a good amount of space to run around and a table and chair set to take a break. I did see the other dog that was mentioned in reviews. I was taking a chance to see if I could use it as a training opportunity for my reactive dog but she paid them no mind once the ball came out haha. I’ll definitely be going back. The weather was perfect and it was very peaceful Sarah W.

55This was our first sniff spot, and it was great! The area was large, and there were even some provided tennis balls to play with! The neighbor’s dog did bark a few times, but surprisingly, my dogs didn’t mind. And the area is large enough that is was easy enough to keep my girls away from that fence!
Thank you!Elena H.

55Had a great time with my pup! There was a gap where the fence meets the gate but it’s been patched up. Had no trouble getting in and the next door dog didn’t really bother us much. This is one of my favorite spots and I plan to keep coming by Sarah W.

55Fun hillside spot to play fetch and sniff around. Plenty of shade under the trees which was nice as it was a hot day. Also, beautiful drive out to the spot!
The neighbors’ dog did come to the fence to say hello, which wasn’t a problem for us as my guy is okay with other dogs but just to give a heads up if your dog is reactive!Eryn W.

55Great open space! Perfect for getting my pups energy out!
The fencing was secure enough for our pup but he doesn’t really wonder and has decent recall.

55Cozy spot with a nice yard for both humans and dogs to walk in. There are dogs in the property directly behind this one, unfortunately they did trigger my reactive dog. This is at no fault of the owner, as the description of the sniffspot is accurate, as well as the message from the owner beforehand. The fencing is a style in which my dog could have reached his muzzle through to the other dogs so we chose to leave early. Would be a perfect spot for anyone without reactive dogs. Maddie T.

55A great little roadside stop on your way to the Fruit Loop or Mt Hood! The historic Columbia highway is one of Oregon’s most beautiful, and this spot allows you and your dogs to get a chance to stretch your legs while you explore the Gorge.
The only issue I had is that the fencing is cattle panels, fyi, and the neighbor dogs will try to stick their heads through (I called out to the neighbor but he didn’t appear to hear me or care 🤷) and they tried to fight my dogs. I was able to call the dogs away, but other owners should be aware. Lea H.

55Great spot with plenty of space to run around. The neighbor’s two dogs were barking at the fence - if your pup is reactive, this might not be the best spot. But, overall, wonderful yard and we appreciated the toys and water!Liz E.

55Great spot! Nice hill for pups to run up and down and tire out. The neighbors dogs do sit there and bark a lot, so if you have a reactive dog not the best spot. My dog loved it though so we will definitely be back!Ian G.

55We really enjoyed our time at this spot! I took advantage of the southwest slope and chucked-it uphill toward the house for an extra burn 😉 The neighbors dogs were out and definitely like to bark, but I thought it was a good, safe way to practice with our nervous German Shepherd. There was fresh water in the dog’s bowl (we also brought our own, just in case!) and a bin for poo bags. Sara even had some extra poo bags and toys left out! I definitely recommend checking out this spot.Katrina D.

55The spot is exactly as described and pictured. The neighbor dogs were a bit closer than I had thought, but that was on me. The fence between the dogs is thin wire so I was nervous about my dog pushing through it (not sure if that's possible). BUT it was great training on ignoring a barking dog that they could see. 55Nice space. Good shade on a warm day. Ideal to bring your own water but they gave us a heads up so no sweat! The dogs next door are pretty intense if our pups went anywhere near the gate so if you have dog reactive dogs like them, I wouldn’t recommend this spot. We were able to keep our dogs engaged with us. They had fun, loved the toys provided! And we even saw a bald eagle!Nicasia O.

FAQ about our Corbett dog parks
Are dog parks good for dogs?
It is important for dogs to have off leash exercise to sniff and run. But the free and open nature of public dog parks has drawbacks. There could be aggressive dogs, disease transmission and cleanliness issues. For this reason, many dog behaviorists discourage visiting public dog parks and recommend Sniffspot's private dog parks. Sniffspot private dog parks only allow one guest to book at a time and are not open to the public, which solves many of these issues.
Are dog parks safe?
While public dog parks have a number of safety issues, such as aggressive dogs, disease transmission and general cleanliness, Sniffspot dog parks much safer than public dog parks. With Sniffspot all bookings are private for just you and dogs you bring with you and we require all dogs to be vaccinated (or have equivalent titers). All Sniffspot locations are vetted and reviewed by guests so you can find the perfect place for you and your dog. 97% of reviews on Sniffspot visits in the Corbett area are 5 stars.
How do I know if a dog park works for my dog?
You can filter Sniffspot dog parks by fencing and distractions. If your dog doesn't have good recall, you can visit one of our 184 fully fenced dog parks in the area. If your dog is reactive to other dogs, you can visit one of our 31 off leash areas where there are no dogs audible or visible nearby. You can also filter locations to avoid other domestic animals and people. We also recommend reading reviews and reaching out to the host with any questions.
