55Our first sniff spot experience! Great spot. Love that there was balls and water for the dogs! Very close to my house so drive was convenient. But gaps in fence so my little dog was able to get out but no biggie because he listens and came back when needed Sarah R.

55Terri’s spot was great for my hounds to get their off-leash sniffs in. She quickly said “Hi” from her home above the sniffspot when we arrived and let me know the electric fence was off which was really nice to know beforehand and my preference (don’t want my babies getting zapped). Similar to the other comments, the wire fencing is flexible enough for dogs to get through if they wanted. My youngest hound loves to have ‘selective hearing’ when she is off-leash so there was a time or two I had to leash her up and redirect her so she wouldn’t go through the fence. Despite rainy Oregon conditions, I was pleasantly surprised that the field was not a huge mud puddle and the dogs weren’t filthy at the end of the session. Their ground cover is fantastic and very little mud in the middle of winter (plus for scent hounds it was extra sniffable and they were able to shove their noses in it). They had a full water bucket as well which was great and both pups helped themselves to it. Only negative maybe for other visitors (didn’t bother us) is there is an outside dog (contained with wooden fence) on the adjacent property who is very vocal so if you have an easily excitable, reactive or a dog with poor recall, I can imagine it wouldn’t be easy to keep them from trying to go through the wire fence. Luckily for us my oldest hound is an angel with great recall and his sister is learning the ropes… I utilized the distraction as a training session for her. Overall was a great and peaceful experience on their quiet property… if we lived in Oregon, we would definitely return! 🐾 Katie R.

55A great spot on a quiet road! My pup isn’t usually an escaper, but she did sneak between the wires today. Totally my fault, the listing was clear about the fencing. A brief interaction with the host was very pleasant and we look foreword to visiting again! Bree W.

55As mentioned in the listing, if your dog is an escape artist, this is not the place for you! If not, though, what a spot! My dog was obsessed with the toys in the bin provided and loved the taller grass for sniffing. Tons of room for fetch and exploring.Chelsea E.

55The host was very welcoming. Lots of room for our pups to run and play! One hour was all that they needed to worn out! We were aware before our arrival about the the area of play being in a corral so no surprises about the fencing. We will definitely return. Lynnette T.

55This was our first Sniff Spot experience and it was great!! Just as all the reviewers had described. The fencing was easy for my two short basset hounds to get under, but I brought a big bag of treats that kept them from escaping! They have a darling border colloie that greets your car, but they called it in beforne we got out of the car. Pretty area with no traffic and we didn’t see any other dogs. It was soggy with the rain, but almost no mud which was great. Paige E.

55This was our first time. Great spot! Appreciated the toys. I will say my dog is pretty big (79 lb) and somehow managed to slip through the fence without trying very hard. Johanna B.

55Our dogs thoroughly enjoyed running full sprint around the property! The owner was very friendly and had a clean bucket of water for the pups. The property was well maintained. It was quiet with hardly any traffic. Our pups are one year old and training to come when they’re called. They did escape a couple of times, but it was the perfect opportunity to practice training. Because there was no traffic, we felt comfortable with them getting out. We will definitely be back!! Samantha B.

55This spot is clean and maintained. The wires for the fence are about 9” apart, so a crafty dog could get thru. But my dog hasn’t tried to escape & has a great time there. There are no other animals near by and the access road is quiet. Dyan K.

55It is a beautiful space. There are balls and stuff for the dogs to play with. There’s plenty of room to run. The grass is long in some areas though so wear waterproof shoes. The fence is not meant to keep dogs in. It’s just a perimeter, but if your dog is relatively well behaved it won’t be trying to get out anyway. The owner was incredibly nice, she told us we could stay extra time if we wanted to. I definitely recommend this spot! kathryn S.

55Nice, peaceful spot! As it was fully disclosed, the fence is wide spaced wire. Knowing this, I did keep my German Shepherd on a really long rope lead as we were working on some on training, and she easily could walk her 85lb self through the fence when I thought she just was getting some water. Very nice hosts. The field was a little tall, even though they had recently mowed it. So we mainly just played and worked off some energy. Dawn F.
