55My friend and I brought our reactive dogs here, and they both loved it! The trails were so much fun for them to run around on. The Tolt Pipeline Trail is visible a few places on the trail--and there is no fence between the property and the trail--so be aware of that if you have a dog that might want to run out there. Sara E.

55Beautiful, quiet and private. Pretty drive there as well! It was nice to be at a sniffspot with trails, not just an open field. Would go again!Anisa H.

55Our first time visiting and we had a wonderful time. The white pipe was helpful in finding where to start and we used our Google map to guide us back to our car. Lucy, the host, was very helpful and accommodating. She gave us a heads up on some bad weather on a prior booking and she was very accommodating in letting us change the date near the last minute. Our dogs had a wonderful time running through the trails and we’d definitely be back. Thank you!Tam P.

55Amazing plot of land. Very easy to find. Trails had some puddles but we’re not swampy or muddy and we’re easy to go around if wanted! Our German ran right through and had a blast doing it! Perfect spot for hide and seek and to practice recall! Will be back!! Emily C.

55This is a lovely set of trails in a lichen and fern filled forest, it was beautiful. We just wandered from path to path until our time was up. "Puddles" in the title is not a joke, though! If you actually know where you're headed and don't run out of time, you can avoid most of them, but we ended up wading through some pretty deep puddles to make sure we hit the exit on time haha. It wasn't too bad but you'll want some boots for this space. It was nice and quiet, no surprises. Laura Z.

55My new favorite Sniffspot! I’m working on recall with my rescue puppy and this was the perfect place to take him. The property and network of trails are expansive and secluded. He got to run and I was comfortable that he would listen to me as there weren’t any distractions. The puddles & creek were a huge hit. We will definitely be back. Tami T.

55What an epic spot! Make sure to grab a map first on the shed wall. Peaceful and Beautiful area - with the sun coming through the trees felt like I was in the lord of the rings forests! The driveway is easy to miss on a busier road, the mailbox is across the street but there is a house number posted higher up at entrance which is helpful. Parking is clearly marked. The trails were mostly clear some muddy spots, branches and raspberry thorns - definitely need hiking shoes and stable footing. The dogs loved doing zoomies on the trails, jumping in bushes, and smelling. Could hear cars and dogs in the distance and there’s one entrance to the pipe line trail that’s closer than the other- could see some people with dogs and bicycles. To be safe put my dogs on leash since they’re reactive. Definitely not a good spot for off leash dogs with recall challenges. We looped around the trails a couple times using the map to make sure we didn’t get lost. Will definitely make it back!Lara T.

55Easy to find, clear signage, nice trails. We saw one runner on the trail close by that our dog didn’t mind but was very quiet and secluded besides that. The available hose, water bowl, and map were appreciated! Athina M.

55So much fun! The dogs had a wonderful time chasing each other along the trails this morning in the snow. The trails were nicely groomed and it wasn’t too muddy.
The trails do go right up to the tolt pipeline trail but it was easy to keep our dogs on the trail we wanted and didn’t see any other people or dogs. Tammy P.

55Good walking trails and the dogs had so much fun. Owner is right, it’s hard to get lost! Owner was super helpful in finding the trail head (sorry about mine barking - he was just so excited to be there).Sarabeth L.

55This spot was everything we could have ever hoped for! If we lived closer I’d be here multiple times a week. Beautiful, quiet space, with TONS of room to roam, well maintained trails and very thoughtful hosts. Hannah H.

55We had a great time playing ball, hide and seek, practicing recall, and being just dogs. I loved that my dogs could be just dogs sniffing, exploring and running up and down the trails on their own pace while being safe at the same time. Klara H.

55Loved being able to have my dog reactive dog experience a mini hike safely! He absolutely loved it. Looking forward to coming back. Because it's partially fenced, I had him on a 50 ft long leash to give him some freedom. I'm glad I did because there's one point towards the end of the trail (that leads to the front gate) where it kinda forks off, with the right side connecting to the next property. There was an offleash dog on the other side that came charging at mine. I was able to pull my dog in and continue on. I heard that same dog get into a scuffle with another dog in the distance shortly after our encounter so just be aware for those with reactive dogs. Might be a good idea to have them on a long leash unless you know your dog has solid recall. That aside, awesome spot, and so many interesting sniffs!Paige K.

FAQ about our Duvall dog hiking trails
Are dog hiking trails safe?
While public dog parks have a number of safety issues, such as aggressive dogs, inattentive owners, disease transmission and general cleanliness, Sniffspot dog parks are much safer than a city or county park. With a Sniffspot off-leash area all bookings are private for just you and dogs you bring with you and we require all dogs to be vaccinated (or have equivalent titers). All Sniffspot locations are vetted and reviewed by guests so you can find the perfect place for you and your dog. 93% of reviews on Sniffspot visits are 5 stars. Our hiking trails tend to be outside the city, which lends to more privacy, but it is also important to follow typical hiking safety precautions, such as potentially having trail maps.
How do I know if a dog hiking trail works for my dog?
Sniffspot provides the tools to find the ideal spot. Start by applying basic filters, such as fencing 6 feet tall and distractions, to find a dog park with trails that works for your dog. You can also filter by size if you are looking for a certain acre park, an expansive off-leash dog park. If your dog doesn't have good recall, you can visit one of our fully fenced dog hiking trails. If your dog is reactive to other dogs, you can visit one of our dog hiking trails where there are no dogs audible or visible nearby. Since you are looking for trails, make sure to check photos to see if it the spot has flat trails or gnarly trails. You can also browse by specific amenities, if you are looking for a view or a beach, for instance, or other activities or fun features. You can check whether the spot has off or on street parking, the regular park hours, whether it has paved trails or a modern restroom.
What are the requirements to bring my dog to a Sniffspot dog hiking trail?
In order to hike the trails, we require that all dogs have basic vaccinations or equivalent titers. We do not permit dogs with a bite history. We require that guests sign our waiver and agree to follow our safety rules.
Will there be other dogs at the Sniffspot hiking trail at the same time as me?
Sniffspot only allows one booking at a time and any host dogs are required to be kept away from the spot during visits. We also enforce 30 min time buffers between bookings.
