Please clean up your pups mess with doggie bags. You can dispose of them in the dumpster on the front of the house. Please just mind the space and leave it how you found it. Most importantly enjoy your time out here with your pup!

Conveniently located approximately: 1.5 miles from the Johnson City Medical Center 2.2 miles from the Mountain Home VA Hospital 2.3 miles from ETSU 3.1 miles from downtown Johnson City Come relax, unwind, and listen to the birds chirping in my tranquil and peaceful setting while your pup(s) explore all the scents. If your pup is playful, there are plenty amenities and lots of toys to choose from. If your pup isn't and just wants to chill, there is a coolaroo dog bed to rest on. As a pup parent myself, I can appreciate the need to just chill and take in the beauty of nature while my pups burn off some energy from being cooped up in the house all day :) Hope you enjoy your time at Connie's Dogtopia as much as Finley, Fergus, Flynn, Bocephus, and I do! Here's to releasing the zoomies!! Every visit the pups have unlimited access to the wading pool, the Bazinga ball pit, Digger's Depot sandbox, the basic agility equipment and agility tunnel. And don't forget all of the toys to choose from in the brown deck box! 🙂 For the hoomans, there are two sitting area with tables and umbrellas. Next to the deckbox of toys, is a small beverage cart and storage with beverages hot (tea, apple cider, cocoa) and cold (bottled water) to enjoy. This is a 100 year old Victorian that we live in part of the year and rent as a vacation rental other parts. We love dogs, have 3 large ones of our own and are an extremely dog friendly rental so it makes sense to let others use it when it’s available. It is a fully fenced backyard at a residential home. It is available when not rented or when we are not in residence.

This is a big space that has both A large gravel drive and tall grass/plants in the very back. All for your pup to run around in! There is an additional space that is mostly grass and also fully fenced and separate from the other space if needed. There is a wooden and black gate you will approach upon arrival. Drive to the inside of the gate to park. You’ll then close and lock the gate (before your pup gets out of the car). You’ll be given a lock code after reserving the space. Any dirty poo bags can be left by the gate entrance (on the inside) for us to dispose of after.

*POST HELENE UPDATE 10/13/24* I am so sad to say that the Helene floods have completely destroyed our Sniffspot. We hope to reopen one day but the space will be a completely different place. We are hard at work doing what we can so please check back often. UPDATE 4/11/24* The bugs can get really bad at certain times of year. Mostly gnats around the face and no-see-ums. I do provide bug spray and bug nets that work best when worn with a hat. The worst of the bugs are early spring (April-June). Not fenced but not immediately bordered by anything but forest or field on all sides. The property is 12 acres with mostly open or treed space. There is a small beach area with water calm enough for dogs to swim and fetch sticks. We have picnic tables and chairs that you can use but please pick up after yourself, your dog, and your kids. There is now a trashcan provided on the beach for your convenience. Downstream side of property has an “island” that can be explored. The neighbors property downstream starts shortly free the road narrows between the river and steep bank. It’s usually more overgrown and can visually tell the upkeep is different. Please avoid being on their property. Flood waters make signage difficult to use in this area. Just message me if you need more details on the boundary line.

Currently the only things available are access to two water spigots and a short water hose inside the fenced in area. There is also a hammock stand if you would like to bring your own hammock for lounging or you can sit on the front porch. You are welcome to use the back yard as well, but it is not fenced in. Please be mindful of some small gaps under the fence in the front yard as well. If you have a dog that is an escape artist this might not be the best Sniffspot for you all. 🐾 Parking is available on the left side of the house and behind the house.
