Great space for our pup to run around! Super quiet and spacious, our pup loved running up and down the slope

Private & quiet spot. Located on a hill so lots of different terrain for a pup to explore -- Made playing fetch more of a game of hide & seek as the ball goes rolling. Easy to find, easy to come & go. Trash bin available for poop bags.

This space was great! Lots of things to sniff and room to run around. The fence was definitely secure for my dog, who is a golden retriever.

Lovely spot, packs a lot of different experiences into a smallish space - a little hill and a mulch pile to zoom up and down, paved paths and fruit trees to sniff around, structures to explore behind or under. Great bird watching spot for humans, too. No holes in the fence, not a lot of street noise. Kaya loved it. Me too.

This yard is fantastic, there are so many cool little areas for the dogs to explore, the neighborhood is quiet and has safe parking, the view is breathtaking and the whole yard is fenced-in. It’s such a great place for our dogs, thank you Nina!

Very nice area for my small dog to run around. Even though it’s on a hill there are a lot of paths that my dog was able to go through as she got her zoomies. Lots to explore and smell for my dog.

Thanks so much to Nina for this wonderful SniffSpot in the city! Lots of varied plants to sniff, shady and sunny areas, and tons of space. Couldn’t be happier with our experience - we’ll be back! Note for those with mobility concerns: the area is hilly and dogs will want to jump between the different elevations. The fence is also a bit hard to reach for shorter folks.

Such a great yard for a dog to explore - the neighbor even gave my dog treats across the fence! Felt very safe and welcoming. Will book again! Thank you for sharing this lovely space 💜

as described...my dog liked sniffing around the most and playing with the ball second. there are lots of levels - it's a terraced slope, so there are paths and steps and shrubs and grasses and lots of nuances to explore. Bring bug spray, it's a lush site.

FAQ about our San Francisco dog parks

Are dog parks good for dogs?
It is important for dogs to have off leash exercise to sniff and run. But the free and open nature of public dog parks has drawbacks. There could be aggressive dogs, disease transmission and cleanliness issues. For this reason, many dog behaviorists discourage visiting public dog parks and recommend Sniffspot's private dog parks. Sniffspot private dog parks only allow one guest to book at a time and are not open to the public, which solves many of these issues.
Are dog parks safe?
While public dog parks have a number of safety issues, such as aggressive dogs, disease transmission and general cleanliness, Sniffspot dog parks much safer than public dog parks. With Sniffspot all bookings are private for just you and dogs you bring with you and we require all dogs to be vaccinated (or have equivalent titers). All Sniffspot locations are vetted and reviewed by guests so you can find the perfect place for you and your dog. 96% of reviews on Sniffspot visits in the San Francisco area are 5 stars.
How do I know if a dog park works for my dog?
You can filter Sniffspot dog parks by fencing and distractions. If your dog doesn't have good recall, you can visit one of our 110 fully fenced dog parks in the area. If your dog is reactive to other dogs, you can visit one of our 15 off leash areas where there are no dogs audible or visible nearby. You can also filter locations to avoid other domestic animals and people. We also recommend reading reviews and reaching out to the host with any questions.
