Our field is fully fenced with 6' chain link fence, including a double gate to ensure that no dog can ever escape. Water is available for the dogs, and seating is available under our beautiful trees in the shade for you. As the fall starts to get colder and winter is upon us, we do plan to stay open for the winter. We plan to snowblow parts of the field so that there is a path when the snow gets super deep, and we’ll try to keep the area directly beside the barn clear for you. This is our plan… we’ll see how it works out in reality. :) If you have snowshoes, it may be a good idea to bring them some days depending on how much snowfall we’ll get. There is a bench around the tree on the far hill for you to sit on if you like. There are very few distractions here so it is a great space for play and/or training. We have three areas for you to enjoy, all are fully fenced and are included in the rental price. We have a fully fenced acre of woods with a trail that goes through to explore. It is accessed through the gate in the backyard. We also have a front yard and deep backyard, great for running, fetch and recall training. The yard is 1.5 acres and also fully fenced. During the summer you have access to two seating areas including a picnic table, gazebo for shade (seasonally) a 30 foot tether is also available if you would like to have your dog stay beside you while you relax. During the winter, paths are plowed in both yards and in the woods within 3-5 hours of a significant snowfall. Everything as described. It is open link fences and there are houses on 3 sides with distractions so just know that if you have reactive dogs. I used it as distraction training, recall and leash training and it was a great place for safe and secure obedience work.

Lovely Sniffspot! It was clean and provided a great area for running and exploring for our two girls. The fencing is beautiful and high, gate(s) are secure and our dogs had a blast. There are two tall trees in one section which might put a damper on powerful throwing of a ball unless you’re really accurate, but it didn’t impede us as we found there was more than enough area past them for good throws and flat out running. I didn’t see a place for poop bag deposit, so be prepared to bring home any packages. I definitely recommend this spot.

Second time at this Sniffspot and the girls HAD A BLAST! It is a lovely spot with lots of area for a great run, fetch, exploration and sniffaris. There is a spot to leave “packages” your doglets produce, clean water and a bowl. I highly recommend this Sniffspot as both times our girls have left happy and ready for naps.

Has everything you need! There are some chairs to sit, garbage bin etc. The fences are secure and high, but if you have a reactive dog it is at a busy intersection where they will see humans and/or dogs walking by. It’s perfect for us and we’ll be back.

My dogs had an amazing time! The yard is very clean and spacious enough for my 2 large dogs to be able to run around and play. It is easy to find and the instructions were clear. My dogs loved the mini pool the owner left out for us, and definitely appreciated the water bowl! (The neighbours small dog barked for about 10 minutes when it heard my dogs and I playing.
