It was clear Martin put a lot of effort in making this a 5 star location with the maintained and marked trails on the huge and beautiful property, trail maps, and even a blog with all the latest updates. There were so many interesting smells for our dog to check out that it definitely put the “sniff” in Sniffspot! We appreciated the signs and caution tape for areas to avoid, as well as the garbage can at the front so we didn’t have to bring dog poop home in the car. He also loved off-roading into the bushes as evidenced by the little burrs that he collected along the way in the photo (but i knew it would happen and Martin indicated in the description as well which was also super helpful). The trail is nicely marked and I like that it has a variety of paths. Martin provided a map to also help us navigate our time. We rented the spot for an hour and a half, for 7 dogs, and we could have definitely done even longer. It was so nice for us to have a visit with peace of mind knowing the dogs could run around and not have to worry about running into anyone, or recalling around the bends. There was also plenty of open space for them to have some zoomies together. Boots are definitely a must if you want to visit all parts of the property, as there are some marshy areas, but Martin was great at greeting me when I first arrived and giving me some pointers on how to avoid some of the very wet areas. I very much appreciate the affordable price of this spot and even though it’s over an hour drive, we will most certainly be back again.
