The Weenie Wonderland

We have an amazing large backyard with a large deck. The deck can be blocked off with dog gates so you can just enjoy the yard. We have a dachshund but he had an accident and is paralyzed now so we don’t spend as much time in the yard as we used to. Please pick up your dogs poop if they use the bathroom in the yard.

The Honey Spot

Named after my sweet heeler Honey Pie, the Honey Spot is a sweet fully fenced quarter acre yard with some big trees in a convenient location (Guilford Hill neighborhood). The back is lined with 6 ft wooden fencing, and the rest with 4 ft chain link fencing. There is plenty of room for your pup to run around and play safely! There are no weak spots in any of the fencing. Parking is on the street, just walk up the driveway (being careful not to walk up my neighbor’s driveway which is closer to the street corner). You’ll see the gate at the end of the driveway. Poop bags, water, had sanitizer and tennis balls are provided.

Make yourself at home and relax on the comfy outdoor furniture by the firepit or sway in the hammock while your pup zoomies to their heart’s content. We provide plenty of dog toys for tug or toss, plus tennis balls and throwers for the Fetch Fanatics—and yes, there’s even a fancy pooper scooper to save your back. Our neighbors on either side do have dogs, and you may occasionally see them out and about in the distance-- but they mind their own business (though the Husky on one side might yodel a hello), and all fencing is private/ not shared so there is no possible fence contact. I’m a stay-at-home mom, so an indoor bathroom is available if needed, along with high-speed WiFi and extenders if you need to stay connected during your visit. We also have two mini Aussies (one tiny, one delightfully shmedium). They can be kept inside for a completely private visit, or—if your dog is social—they’re happy to come out and play. Both are friendly, non-reactive, and gentle, and their company is always optional. We totally understand that sometimes you want a private dog park for a reason!

But you'll be able to pull up park on the drive and have access to the fence yard without disturbing us or our pet. If your dog likes to dig up a yard or flowers this is not the right property :( We have onsite parking. If your dog has mobility issues, this is a fully flat yard with a gate entrance. There's also steps up and down from the deck or you can sit and watch.
