Almost an acre of pastureland overlooking Jacoby Creek Valley for dogs to sniff, roam, play, and most of all be off leash and in nature. Come with your dog alone or bring some friends and dog pals (up to 6 total) to romp and chase and play while you relax. There are some toys and obstacles, water, and lots to dig. Please bring your own balls. There may be cattle in the adjoining field below, occasionally deer though rarely in the daytime. Chairs are set for a pastoral view, particularly lovely at sunset. People and cars may go by on the driveway. The spot is all yours when you are there and with respect to reactive dogs, I won't greet you unless we set that up in advance. I want the dogs to feel that this is their space and we won't intrude. If your plans change you can cancel or reschedule up to 2 hours prior to your reservation through the app but it does not allow changes after that. Please no smoking or using while visiting. Enjoy!

Update: As of May 18, the grass has dried out considerably. The field has been freshly mowed to keep the stickers down but the green patches are harder to find now. Still large, fenced with some nice spots of shade but no longer lush. Fetch Field is an enclosed but wide open, natural field with plenty of room for your dogs to roam. Enjoy and relax under the shady oaks as your dogs explore or use the length of the yard to play fetch or to practice recall drills in a secure setting while you are training.

Canine Canyon Park is a unique, peaceful, fully-fenced, safe private yard situated in a beautiful canyon with no neighboring yards to worry about (our senior neighbors to the right NEVER use their yard). We are located in central San Diego, just up the hill from Snapdragon Stadium in Mission Valley, and are easy to access from major freeways including the 15, 8, 163 and 52. Our property is double-fenced, which brings peace-of-mind to our guests. The top patio area, where you will enter and exit, is fully-fenced and secure, as is the lower yard with its own gate. Our home is in a quiet neighborhood, on a dead end street. Street parking is always available either right in front of our house or close by. You will have private access through a side gate to our backyard. Dogs love to run up and down the dirt slope in our yard to chase balls and expend their energy. The slope leads to our flat, lower dirt yard which is perfect for your dogs to run free and get their zoomies out! We do have a turf area under the play structure, as well as inside the enrichment area. We provide everything you could possibly need during your visit including lots of balls, Chuck It launchers for fetch, toys, water bowls, a hose, enrichment activities, plenty of seating, shade, a cot for the pups, towels, and more - all of which are included in the base price! Welcome! This is a great spot if you want to park close to where your dog plays- it’s just on the other side of the fence. We live in a safe, quiet area and our yard is well lit at night - perfect for dog visitors later in the evening. We have lots of dog toys, fresh water , comfortable seating for humans - a great place to chill for an hour while your dogs get their sniffs on! Please remember not to go into the playhouse , as there are probably spiders or other critters. Welcome to our little farm! It's never perfect and always a work in progress, but I think your dogs will have a blast in our large backyard with lots to explore and smell! Please note: we actively work on thistle and foxtails abatement on the property (it's a neverending battle 😩) you might find some that we missed. Send me a message and let me know where you see it! We have three kids and a menagerie- 99% of the time, we're in survival mode 😂 Your dog will love the large backyard with the hill that's perfect for loping up and down and sniffing all the exciting smells that come with country living- so many gophers, birds, and even deer make their appearance from time to time. We have goats, a black sheep, chickens and ducks in the pasture that backs up to the fenced yard, so your dog will get a lot of new experiences. You can relax on our deck while your dog explores. We just finished a daybed swing which is super comfortable and shaded under the wisteria vine in the spring and summer🩷 We have a sweet and docile Great Pyrenees named Bosco who is basically a saint and is nearly perfect. And then we have Rocco 🤣 We adopted Rocco, and he's an adored menace 🩷 He has destroyed all our screens and water fountain pumps, along with the regular chewing of toys and shoes. We are trying to keep up with him, but it's been a challenge. You might find some stray pieces of *something* that we missed from his jaws of death. Both of our boys will be crated inside during your visit. We're on a well, so we don't water the lawn a ton in the summer to conserve water, so it can get a little dusty, but we do keep things mowed and trimmed. Our garden and yard is a work in progress- I'm currently focusing on adding drought tolerant native plants to work with my favorite blooms. I am dahlia crazy and have over 100 plants- the dahlia beds are corralled off and will be thrilling in the late summer and fall! There will be small changes in our retreat every time you visit (at least, that's my goal 😂) You might see piles of cardboard by my goat pen waiting to be used as a weed barrier under mulch. I promise it's not a pile of trash- it's all part of my master plan to not use herbicides and have an organic garden. 🌱🌏 We hope you and your dog loves our Sniffspot!

This is a very big back yard large part pavers, large portion turf, and other dirt. On A clear day you can see to ocean, Catalina, and Long Beach. This big yard has a door that leads to the hiking trail of Whiting Ranch (I am not responsible for if you chose to go out there) but it is beautiful trail I take my dogs and kids on. At least once a month we see deer out there. Great space for the dogs and the owners. You both will enjoy this yard just like me and my dogs do also. In summer can put out small kiddy pool and sprinkler for dogs to run through. Comfortable table and chairs. Huge balcony for shade and cover.
