We have 2 acres of partially fenced land. Driving up to our home you can park in the designated parking area to the left. There is a pathway that leads to the top of our hill, that provides gorgeous views and a wide open space for your pup to run free. It is secluded with giant trees surrounding the perimeter. We had a sheepdog Brutus,who loved taking walks through our property and loved sitting on the hill overlooking the land. He passed away this last year and is greatly missed. We love the idea of honoring him by opening up his favorite playground to new friends. We have 3 chickens safe in their pen. And we have 6 cats tucked safe in our home. Let's keep the pasture nice, please discourage digging and pick up after dog. My Border Collie and Mini Aussie will find your leavings (it's a large space, I understand things get missed, it helps to carry poo bags to minimize backtracking). For human exercise... 6 laps around perimeter fence is approx. 1 mile, 6 laps around pond fence is approx. 1/4 mile. If you're coming from Portland, the bridges and 4th Plain traffic can be challenging!

We make efforts to provide a safe experience for you and your pups. Please return the favor by having a profile picture! Reservations for mystery people will be cancelled. Dogs must be leashed when entering or exiting (no exceptions). Absolutely no digging or fence fighting. We added more lighting and easier entry instructions to make first time visits a breeze even at night. With that said, if you are a new guest please read instructions BEFORE you arrive. If you go to the wrong house you will not be allowed to come back. We simply cannot continue to host if this happens. Instructions are visible to you once you book. Fully fenced yard with short grass. Includes a fire pit and is very well lit at night. Great for a date night with the pups or hang by the fire with a couple friends. BYO fire wood. If you plan on having a fire, we recommend a 2 hour visit! Use hose to completely extinguish fire before you leave. Note to our guests regarding pricing: the cost per dog per hour will occasionally fluctuate depending on multiple factors like weather, how busy we we are, and the state of the grass. For example, In order to give the grass some time to recover we may increase the price to reduce foot traffic. These fluctuations are necessary to maintain a healthy and clean yard.

We will try to stay open a few more weeks unless our yard is getting destroyed past saving. If that’s the case, we will close temporarily until the ground is less saturated. Our property is 2 acres of mixed hog fence of 4 ft and no climb fence at 6 ft. The hog fence may be large enough for small dogs to get through. There are deer and turkey regularly around. We have a mix of open field and woods! Also, you will hear dogs inside our house barking. The entrance will be a man gate by the large garage. There’s parking for 2-3 cars. The patio by the house is private. If your dogs choose to dig in the open field, that is fine. We try to keep no digging around the house itself. Please drive down the dirt driveway slowly to keep the dust down, and to respect the other homes. We hope you enjoy your time here!!

Hi there! We have a big backyard that my dogs enjoy often. It is fully fenced yard but you could see any pedestrian or dog that walks on the street, about 25 ft away. I have three dogs, two under 20lbs and a 60lb black lab but they will be inside the house at all time during your stay (unless you want a play buddy!). You do not have to pick up after your dog but if you do, you can throw it away at the provided trash can. Feel free to reach out with any questions! Note - if you are booking a visit between 7am and 9am, please make sure you give us at least 12 hour notice. That way we can make sure we clean up before your visit.

Top Dog Vistas has 4 acres of fully fenced trails for you and your dog to enjoy. (All dogs must be on leash for the first 300 feet from the parking lot to the gate.) This hike is not for everyone as it climbs 200 feet in about 1/4 mile. Once you get up the hill there are awesome views and rest stations scattered along the trails that are cut through the trees and brush. The total distance if you wander all of the trails at the top of the hill is about one mile.
