Melissa's spot was so great -- we took our newly adopted dog here and let her run around for an hour and had so much fun. Tons of room to roam, no safety hazards -- this was our first Sniffspot experience, and it was exactly what we hoped for! Melissa was also out on the porch when we arrived and was so friendly and welcoming. We will definitely be coming back!

This is a great spot in a convenient location in the city! The host and her adorable pup were so lovely, and the yard has plenty of space for fetch or zooming around.

Our pup had a lot of fun running around in your yard! It was easy to find parking, and easy to find the sniff spot. We will book again, thank you!

Great spot! Fully enclosed so I didn’t have to worry about where my pup was going. Melissa left out a bowl of water for us. The grassy part is very sunny. We will be back!

A lovely yard with nice soft grass for our doggo to roll around in. Clean and tidy, and lots of comfy seating for humans as well. Securely fenced— no escape artists! We would definitely book this Sniff Spot again!

I took my dog Nova here, and it was a lovely little space! We ended up leaving early because Nova gets easily overwhelmed in new environments (even calm ones), but it was a great space for a dog to play and investigate lots of interesting smells

Just a perfect, nearby, enclosed spot for our rescue who hasn’t been spayed yet (it’s on the calendar, don’t worry). Water available and even our hunter couldn’t escape. Easy access. We will be back!

Really great backyard and open space, brought our greyhound and a friend's grey over. The carport and yard were fenced in enough that the tall pups couldn't have gotten over.

This is our favorite spot in the neighborhood! Clean, spacious, and easy to enter/exit. Our greyhound loves it :) You can occasionally hear other dogs (since it’s a neighborhood with lots of dogs), but we never saw any dogs or other creatures.

This spot was clean, easy to access and perfect for a quick leg stretch for my boy. The host has poop bags and a water bowl out for guests, but I always recommend taking your own. I will definitely book this spot again for quick midday breaks. Thanks, Carol!

Wow! Wonderful spot to run free! We usually only stay a half hour at SniffSpots, but an hour went by quickly here. And my dogs were exhausted when we went home! It’s a beautiful property, quiet and well-maintained. Would definitely return.

We had an awesome time! I loved the safe, huge field and so did my dog! We had plenty of water, shade, and space to play. I love supporting a future dog rescue location too! We’ll be back! <3

This was an awesome fenced area. Tons of room for them to run and explore. Lots of hills of dirt for them to climb. I don’t have diggers but it would be great for that. The owners were so incredibly nice and accommodating. I will definitely recommend this farm to all my friends with fur babies.

Our pup had an awesome time and so did we. The host greeted us at the gate and we had great conversation with him while our pup ran and played. There’s so much land to explore and also a great picnic table in the evening shade. We will definitely be coming back!

FAQ about our Washington dog parks

Are dog parks good for dogs?
It is important for dogs to have off leash exercise to sniff and run. But the free and open nature of public dog parks has drawbacks. There could be aggressive dogs, disease transmission and cleanliness issues. For this reason, many dog behaviorists discourage visiting public dog parks and recommend Sniffspot's private dog parks. Sniffspot private dog parks only allow one guest to book at a time and are not open to the public, which solves many of these issues.
Are dog parks safe?
While public dog parks have a number of safety issues, such as aggressive dogs, disease transmission and general cleanliness, Sniffspot dog parks much safer than public dog parks. With Sniffspot all bookings are private for just you and dogs you bring with you and we require all dogs to be vaccinated (or have equivalent titers). All Sniffspot locations are vetted and reviewed by guests so you can find the perfect place for you and your dog. 96% of reviews on Sniffspot visits in the Washington area are 5 stars.
How do I know if a dog park works for my dog?
You can filter Sniffspot dog parks by fencing and distractions. If your dog doesn't have good recall, you can visit one of our 299 fully fenced dog parks in the area. If your dog is reactive to other dogs, you can visit one of our 57 off leash areas where there are no dogs audible or visible nearby. You can also filter locations to avoid other domestic animals and people. We also recommend reading reviews and reaching out to the host with any questions.
