Always giving moreKourtney b

Dalis To The Rescue
At our rescue, we are not only dedicated to matching our dogs with the perfect home, we are also dedicated to educating our community about the benefits of spaying and neutering as Dalis herself raised the funds to build a surgical room at our rescue where we host low cost spay and neuter clinics for the public. We are not exclusive to one area or county, in fact many people use our services from all over the state of Michigan and even some out of state including Wisconsin, Ohio, and Indiana.
Dalis heart belongs to the misunderstood, the old, and the disabled. She always says that her goal is to rescue, but that her dream is that one day she won't have to.

Sky Sanctuary Rescue
Sky Sanctuary specialize in the humane capture and rescue of stray, fearful and injured animals from the streets of Phoenix, Arizona, the surrounding desert areas and local shelters. We often rescue the abandoned, lost and forgotten animals. Fiercely advocating for the animals in our care. Often our animals have extensive and complex medical needs that require a profound level of specialty medical care. Not only do we invest in our animal's physical health, we utilize a trusted group of trainers to build confidence, empower and improve our animal's mental well-being in order to live peaceful, happy lives in family homes. We are very different from other animal rescue organizations. We are "boots on the ground" in our community while passionately fight for the dogs and animals no one else has the courage to take on. We have a knack for finding ourselves in pretty breathtaking scenarios- some call it divine intervention, others call it luck. We live by the mantra "if not me then who?". We are funded solely by public donations through social media. We are grateful for the opportunity to help these animals. We would go to any length to #SAVETHESTREETDOGS

I had a great experience fostering and eventually adopting from DPS. They paired me up with wonderful dogs that fit well into my home and gave me all the support I needed. It was such a relief knowing I would never be stuck with a dog and that support was only ever a text message away. I was so concerned about the fosters I gave up but they ended up in amazing homes. Everyone at the rescue is so dedicated to the dogs and truly wants what's best for each one. When I eventually fell in love with one of my fosters DPS was very supportive in facilitating the adoption. My dog is one of a kind and she has brought me so much joy. I'm so glad I was part of her rescue journey from the beginning and I'm so grateful to DPS for the experience.Adriana Salcedo

Divya & Furry Tail Endings are the reason I found my best friend and furry tail companion. My friend had fostered dogs through this rescue several times, and I was interested in fostering. I had followed the account for a while, when one day I saw the post for two puppies that needed an urgent foster. Divya, the founder of furry tail endings, responded to my message within 5 minutes. She was beyond communicative with me through the entire fostering process. I then ended up adopting one of the puppies and my friend adopted the other. I still am in touch with Divya almost weekly. She is so dedicated to saving animals, finding them reliable Foster’s and adoptions. She quite literally puts her sweat and tears into each and very animal she saves and attempts to save. She goes to bat for them every day. Saving dogs from the euthanasia list is one of her main objectives and she succeeds regularly.Adelaide (Addie) Stone

I have walked dogs before for this group in Brookings in the past. I've been to the shelter probably on 5 or 6 occasions, but every time I've been there Jennifer, and all the volunteers do such a great job. They really take care of those animals. I know that Jennifer reaches out to these other shelters, and she tries to save as many animals as she can. She puts videos on Facebook that I see. She explains quite a bit about the dogs that she has. She will let people know if the dog is good with other dogs, cats, etc... I've also been in with the cats and played with them. The whole place is always clean. I've been to a few different shelters in my life and by far this one is the best.Douglas Fishel

From 2019 - 2021, We lost a Pup each year. In 2022 We lost another Pup and Our Kitty! I started in 2022 watching a Pup they brought in named Moose. He needed so much help with skin allergies, missing hair, yeast and most of all a Broken Spirit!!!! I 'followed' Moose for nearly 6 months and finally decided to contact them. I knew most Sanctuaries did not allow out of state adoptions, but I had made up My mind... I knew Moose was meant to be with Our Family... I just knew!! I will never be able to THANK the Founder Alice & her colleague Abby for working with Me. They checked references, called Vets, home visit and checked on My 2 three year old FeMale Pups to be sure Moose would be safe. We flew down, rented a car... and to Lily's Sanctuary we drove. It's one of the most beautiful, loving and safe Sanctuaries I've ever seen. These ladies were so happy, sad & hopeful for what this visit might bring. Moose has brought so much love, joy, happiness, laughter, adventure and wholeness back to Our Family!! We love him so much... and if it wasn't for Lily's believing in Us and the commitment that we pledged to Moose... I know My Family would still be incomplete. I thank Lily's Legacy Senior Dog Sanctuary for ALL the dedication, love, care, tears, selflessness, generosity [the list goes on], but I thank them for giving Everything and bringing everything to a much forgotten and discarded sector of Pups who otherwise... wouldn't have a chance in Life!!!!SKORPIAA

Laila's Legacy Animal Rescue
German Shepherd, Pit Bull, Rottweiler
Laila's Legacy was founded with a mission to ensure dogs impacted by breed bias and behavioral or physical challenges have a chance at a better life.
Laila, our name sake, was an incredible dog who had a behavioral challenge that caused aggression towards dogs. Laila loved her humans, and especially our Co-Founder, Ashe. She was a large bully breed so her size combined with local breed bias meant sometimes people were afraid of her. But that didn't stop her from winning people over with her goofy energy.
The rescue she was with did not have the resources to support Laila and couldn't find a suitable partner to take on her care because of her size and breed. As a result she was euthanized.
Laila's Legacy was founded to save dogs like Laila. We never want a dog to be euthanized because an owner, a volunteer, or an organization didn't have the resources or because breed bias stopped them from getting the help they deserved. Dogs like Laila deserve a chance at life and that's what we're here to do!

My family fosters for Chn and I am also an adoption coordinator. I help pull dogs as well. We received an urgent plea for a bloodhound in WV found roaming the highway. We took Izzy in, she was sagging very low like she had delivered multiple babies through the years yet she was happy and friendly. We found out a day or two after she was adopted that she was pregnant with 10 pups! She actually delivered them a week later! Sadly all passed away but two despite CHN’s around the clock care and multiple ER visits. The pups weren’t able to latch on due to Izzy’s nipples being so overgrown in size. CHN put out a plea and a woman in PA saw it who had a GSD mom lactating and very sad due to losing her entire litter. Chn set this stranger up and gave her our two pups to nurse and take in for the remaining 8 weeks. Izzy’s adopter who delivered the pups with his daughters adopted one of the pups and his former wife the other! They are all thriving and without the fast action of CHN, Izzy would’ve delivered on the side of the highway, and all pups would have perished.Lisa DAntoni

Thank you to our partners in the south, our team, and all our adoptive families for being‚ the Hero in a dog's life.
Why adopt a Mary's Dog? All dogs deserve a chance to find a loving and caring home. Many are abandoned or neglected or never given the chance of a good life. As soon as our dogs are in the care of our southern partners, they are treated as family members while awaiting transport to New Hampshire. Our professional team begins caring for the dogs as soon as they arrive at our state-licensed facility to ensure the dogs successfully transition into forever homes. We provide specialty collars and leashes, yummy treats, toys and even homemade chicken stew. The dogs are examined by our veterinarian and then microchipped.
Once they are granted a NH Health Certificate and observed by our dog savvy rescue team, they are ready to be loved by you! We know our dogs. It's important you find the right dog for you and your family. We want all our adoptions to be successful and are available to answer your questions before and after you've brought your dog home.
