55Beautiful spot, Bolo had a blast celebrating his 3rd birthday here and we will definitely be back. We’d be here weekly if we lived closer! Everything was as the listing described so read it thoroughly to properly set your expectations. I’d also recommend that you take precautions for ticks during the summer (whether it be medicine, spray, oil, etc.) and also know there are fox tails in the field so if your pup is a long haired breed or tends to sniff fox tails be ready and vigilant. I would also recommend wearing thicker pants if you walk the trail around the lake to protect your legs from some of the brush that surrounds it. I have a 90 lb thoroughbred horse (Doberman) and between the hill and sheer size of the spot, he was able to full stretch his legs into a sustained sprint.
Every part of the enclosed space is very easy to access as a human in case you want to practice training, have a command that was not responded to, and have to go trudge to that corner to follow through. This was my first time using sniff spot and it was a really great experience. We booked super spur of the moment to get away from the fog and chill in the city. I was hoping my pup would take more favorably to swimming but he much preferred to just run and roll around. We brought our new dog to see if she can swim and it was a good experience. I don’t know that I’d pay again because it’s on the higher end for a dog hour, but my kid did swim and that was fun. It was worth it for the experiment with the new dog and because it wasn’t a bunch of dirt from swimming in a natural environment.
