Half the yard is an open sunny field, the other half is shaded under tall trees. Huge patio, partially under deck for cover. Watering hose, water bowl, doggie bags, trash can on site. Please contact us for big events, gatherings or meet ups. There's a toy bin with dog toys, feel free to use them but please put toys back into the bin afterwards.

Our backyard is fully fenced in with lots of running room! There are seatings available for pet pawrents to rest while your pup runs around! Our yard gets plenty of sun and also some shaded areas. Our spot is pesticide free and well maintained! Some treats and toys will be available, please help yourselves! We have over a half an acre, entirely fenced in with a 6 foot wooden privacy fence. Conveniently located in the City of Manassas, right near 28, but it feels like you are in a wide open country space. Very few trees, plenty of room to run. Access to water and baby pool, toys and chairs for owners to use.

Welcome to Springfield Sniffari Park, nestled on Spaniel Rd in the picturesque Orange Hunt Estates of Springfield, VA! This spot is designed for your canine companions to embark on a sniffing safari in a sizeable yard just shy of 1/4 acre. With secure fencing and plenty of shade giving trees, Springfield Sniffari Park provides the perfect blend of adventure and safety. Bring your pup to explore, play, and unwind in this tail-wagging haven, where every visit is a new adventure!

Reopening the 1/2 acre fenced in lawn area. The unfenced areas are also available for your dogs to use. Arrival Notes: • Parking: Please park in front of the garbage cans located by the garage. • Dog Etiquette: Kindly keep your dogs leashed and off the front lawn. They can relieve themselves in the designated circle or elsewhere if necessary, but please minimize their presence on the front lawn. • Dog Waste: Dispose of all bagged dog waste in the trash can with the black lid in front of the garage before leaving. • Entrance and Exit: Access the field from either the path behind the garage or the gravel path on the right hand side of the driveway. The side yard next to the garage is off-limits. • Supplies: Dog bags are available in the boxes attached to the fence. There is a water bowl next to the hose bib for your convenience. Additionally, a picnic table, chairs, bug spray, and hand sanitizer are provided for your use. • Further Exploration: At the bottom of the stairs, another single gate with more dog bags provides access to the field, creek, and wooded walk. Please leash your dogs beyond this point unless they have excellent recall. Wildlife such as deer, foxes, raccoons, rabbits, hawks, and even beavers may be encountered. • Paths: To the left, a path leads through the woods, up the hill, and around the garage. On the right-hand side of the field, a gravel path leads back up to the driveway. You are welcome to explore the property with your dog(s). Description: • Property Overview: The property spans five acres and includes half an acre of fully fenced lawn, wooded paths, and an open field bordered by Popes Head Creek. Dogs enjoy running and playing off-leash in the fenced lawn area, and there are designated spots like a fire hydrant in the pea gravel area and a sandbox for their use. The creek offers a refreshing spot for dogs to explore and cool off. The property also provides numerous picturesque opportunities in all seasons. Dog Toys: • You are welcome to use the toys I just ask that you return them before you leave. Dog Limitations: • Limit: We allow up to 4 dogs per reservation. If you wish to bring more or arrange a play date, please contact us to discuss it. Vehicle Limitations: • Vehicles: Each reservation allows a maximum of 2 vehicles. If you plan to bring a third vehicle, please add "Extra - Extra Vehicle" to your reservation and inform us to ensure adequate space. Child Supervision: • Children: Children under 18 must be supervised at all times. Parents are liable for any damage caused by their children. After living in a townhome in Old Town for 20 years with no yard or outdoor space, I decided to buy a new house. My dogs only exercise was walking on a leash or finding empty dog parks at strange hours. Although my dogs were well-behaved, I observed a lot of negative behavior from pets and owners in city dog parks and wasn’t comfortable letting my dogs mingle there. When I bought this house a couple years ago, I knew I wanted to create an oasis for my pets. My landscape architect clearcut 75 feet back into the woods, installed retaining walls to help level the steep slope on the side yard and planted lots of grass to create the perfect backyard. The property is on almost an acre, so the back of the fence is very private with a wooded area. Occasionally, you can see deer on their way to the creek and hear fox behind the fence, although that is usually after 11pm. There is a lot of privacy and nature to enjoy from the patio.The yard is bright and sunny in the morning and shady after 2 or so. Since my yard brings so much joy to my dogs, when my friend told me about Sniffspot, I thought it was the perfect opportunity to share this dog friendly space with the community. There is always ample street parking right in front of my house.  The 6 foot fence is reinforced with chicken wire to keep small dogs in and other animals out. The gentle slope is perfect for fetch to wear out high energy dogs faster. Lots of areas to sniff and explore. The entire yard is dog friendly with no pesticides or toxic plants. Water hose, dog bowl, toys, dog bags and trash can are provided. This yard was created for my dogs so all furniture is pet friendly and the dogs go wherever they want. I do try to keep them out of the fenced part of the garden (where the tacky yard art lives 😂) due to beer traps for the slugs but I don’t freak out when they jump the mini-fence. I don’t want any guest to feel any stress while visiting. Dogs will be dogs and normal dog behavior is expected. There is a fan next to the gazebo for warm days. The fan is plugged into a multi-outlet extension cord and you’re welcome to use both! If you’re into grounding, I never wear shoes when I’m in my yard. The yard is probably more than a quarter of an acre. The land that goes with my house is 1 acre. However, I don’t know how to measure the inside fence and I’d rather under promise and overdeliver. The entrance from the street is double gated, like a dog park, to prevent accidental escapes. Enjoy the gazebo and patio with dog beds for relaxing and shade. Surrounded by trees, the birds and fountain offer the perfect oasis to get away from high stress city living. Wednesday late mornings and early afternoons are blocked off for my lawn mowing company. Monday mornings, my dog poop pickup company services my yard. On Mondays, they usually come in the morning, but I don’t have a specific time. If you have a people aggressive dog, you may want to avoid this time since I don’t know when they will actually show up. I do pick up daily but have the service for anything missed as it’s a large yard with 3 dogs to track.
