My husband and I have a little peace of heaven here in the Shenandoah Valley! Our goal is to provide a space for all dogs to play, run and sniff away! Having volunteered, fostered, adopted and worked at various animal rescue non-profits over the years, I realized that many cats and dogs don’t get much time outside of the kennels. I also came to understand that many rescue animals develop trauma related behaviors and cannot integrate with other dogs. Additionally, having this time of off leash freedom is a significant bonding experience for pups and their parents! Having the extra space to provide a private dog park and the passion to help all dogs thrive, our private dog park was a no brainer! Our dogs are in a separate fenced area but because I feel this time is for you and your pup(s), I will put my pups in the house so they are not visible to you and your pups. Pull all the way past the house down to the RED Barn. Enter yard through barn doors. 50% off Your 2nd, 3rd 4+ Dogs! I take pride in maintaining this Sniffspot. 3 acres enclosed for dog training. Private land, mowed regularly. I maintain these grounds daily and it’s generally poop free. There is also unfenced open space for use. feel free to walk the property line. Cable wire with hooks has been placed at the gate to secure it in place, so it will not swing open! Chairs, Doggie & Human snacks, waste scooper with trash bags have been added! Hope to see you soon!!😊 Notes: Please park to the right of the garage and dispose of any waste in the Trash Bin outside of garage/gate. The gate normally stays open but you are welcome to close it(there’s a cable wire to easily keep it shut so it doesnt swing open). Please leave open upon departure. Welcome to any feedback! Our Sniffspot yard is open again. We are so happy to see you and your dogs again! The yard is fully fenced and we do not have other pets that will use the yard. We are located in a subdivision. We have had large and small dogs use our yard. Adam and Terrie love dogs and we no longer have a dog. We do not want to own another dog at this time but we love to have them around. We share our yard with you because it gives your dogs a chance to run and play and it gives us a chance to see a dog. We try to greet you as soon as you arrive, offer drinks and assistance, and if you allow it, we’d love to pet your dog(s)! We have a backyard that is covered in hard packed icy snow. We have blocked days and will open up again when it is a safe place for you and your dogs.
Our house is fully fenced it also has a huge arena. In addition, a 6 dog kennel with indoor and outdoor living and also has multiple other barns if more space is needed.
We call it Vaikunth which means Heaven. We feel that no matter what stress we are going through, our backyard always calms us down. Backyard of an Estate Home in Shenstone Farms. Open & fresh air & has a lovely view. Completely doggy fenced. Wood with wire. The yard has a slope as it is on a hill although quite a bit of it is flat. Come check us out if you like peace, tranquility & and zen atmosphere despite being right off of Route 7.
