My home sits atop our 2.5 acre property, which (other than a small area adjoining the house) is a wholly untouched wooded mountainside. The property is mostly sloped, though the driveway, parking area, and small yard next to the house are just barely sloped. The rest of the property is forested with tons of wildlife and thick trees and brush. Ideal for dogs that like to explore and sniff. My dog and I have a "game" where I throw a ball or frisbee off the house's back deck and it goes way down the mountainside, he loves to find and retrieve it. On the upper deck overlooking the property below are two chairs, and below the deck (also facing down the mountain) at ground level is a hammock and several more chairs. These seats are in the shade. NOTE: There are no outdoor seats that are fully protected from rain. There is a water hose as well as a water bowl outside. Bug spray for humans is provided and advisable if you plan to go into the "wild" parts of the property where the grass is tall. (Like every other square inch of woods in Arkansas, there are ticks here and some may carry Lyme disease or similar.) The neighbors at the top of the hill have a dog that is sometimes out in their fenced yard and he "barks" a friendly greeting to passersby. That is the only audible or visible dog around. My dog stays indoors unless we go together outside. (We'd stay inside during rental hours.) The only humans ever visible would be myself if I came out, or my neighbors in their own driveway. The neighbors' home is not visible from the wooded acreage behind my house.
