Description

We offer 7 acres of wooded land for your pooch to run and discover! We have several well cleared & well kept trails to hike on , a campsite with fire pit and a large dog pen available if your pooch needs a time out .... We encourage all dogs to start out on lead until comfortable with the terrain and area as wildlife likes to visit our woods! All dogs should be off leash trained to come on command before allowing them to run free... In the summer we have a small pool for your fur a y to cool off in, dog toys are always available, and water is kept at campsite for your pet to rehydrate ....we also offer poop bags and have a trash can available to dispose your doggies doodoo in properly....towels ate available in vase your pup tolls in mud or anything mud like!

Please follow hiking trails for the safest experience for you and your pooch ....do not disturb wildlife , plant life or trees ...wr practice "leave no trace" ...the main campsite is a public area , ig your pet is not social please use the house pen if you visit camp. We do have resident dogs that you may be able to hear in the yard at times ....they do not come up into woods unless on lead by property owner and have their own designated hike time ...Camp area is an ON LEAD AREA... the entrance/exit to the hiking trails from street access starts/stops at campsite entrance.... Make sure your dog is under your full control before entering the campsite area!! We do offer campsites for guest rental year round ...these are advanced bookings only !!

Willow Run Farmstead Walking Path

Enjoy the beauty of our 75 acre farm with your dog! Our walking path is approximately 6 ft wide and borders the exterior of our pasture-based farm. Most of the path has a 6 wire electric fence beside it for our cattle. There are two creeks with bridges that you can cross (with potential wet puddles). The entire farm is approximately a 35-40 minute walk depending on your pace, but you can always turn around for a shorter walk. Plenty of area for your dog to sniff and enjoy on a private walk! This sniffspot does require you to have your dog leashed at all times.

Mostly flat terrain for easier walking. Some trails are rocky, some have alot of protruding roots, ground is uneven in areas. You're very likely to see squirrels and deer. Occasional dog barking in the background. Sometimes neighbors mowing/ kids playing. Pretty private, but not completely isolated. You might see a car driving past. Not necessary to bring poop bags, just relocate it if it ends up where you walk. Springs for your dogs to drink from.
