Welcome to Green Gate Haven, a little over half an acre, fully fenced, and completely private dog park. This quiet field is hidden from both the road and the residence, so you and your pooch can enjoy yourselves in solitude, but still only minutes away from I-81. Amenities: A tug of war post. A handmade playscape painted with heat reducing deck paint (so it's not as hot on sensitive paws). A set of tires to play on and in. Our three log obstacle. An agility course, complete with weave poles, tunnel, agility hurdle, jump ring, and pause box. We also provide toys such as tennis balls and throwers, rope toys, frisbee, and various other toys. Seating: A handmade bench under a canopy, a hammock in the shade, and two movable chairs Clean up: Trash can, poop bags, pooper scooper, and hand sanitizer provided to keep the Haven heavenly for everyone Water: Two, four gallon gravity water dispensers of fresh, cold well water will be brought to the field before your arrival Fencing: 4 ft tall welded wire fencing and gate with wire fencing. Small dogs should not be able to escape. While we welcome digging, please keep your pups from digging near the fence line, for the safety of all future visitors. Natural Landscape: Ground is lumpy in spots. Grass will be kept between 2-3 in tall. No nighttime lights, but perfect for stargazing. The Haven is surrounded on 3 sides by forest, the remaining side is an open field that is not part of this property and should only be enjoyed as part of the view. Wildlife & Other Animals: Deer are abundant, squirrels, rabbits, turkey, and a variety of birds are frequent visitors. Our own pack will be inside during your visit, as they are rather noisy. That said, our neighbors are used to our loud pups, and some have their own who may answer if your dogs are talkative as well. Cows can also be heard occasionally, but not seen.

We are located on 10 wooded acres surrounded by adjacent forest. We have a small farm pond area with a picnic shelter. There are lots of woods, a creek and lots of grassy area to run around in. We also have a fenced garden, a fenced chicken run and a fenced yard for our dog that we ask Sniffspotters to stay out of the fenced areas. Additionally, we do have campsites, a treehouse and a bus that has been retrofitted as a camper. We will only accept reservations. When we have campers here, Sniffspotters will be required to stay at the creek or near the pond. There is plenty of room for roaming but owners need to be vigilantly attentive to their dogs. When we do not have campers, Sniffspotters will be free to roam anywhere on the property.
