Come walk 12 acres of mixed terrain, sweeping meadow to rock outcroppings. This is not fenced but there is an old 3 wire fence that outlines the property. We have 2 friendly dogs that wonder the property that we can have put away during your stay or leave out to have dogs to play with. We do have 5 goats that are fenced in and 3 cats that roam the property. Please pick up after your dogs.

Hummingbird Trails - 15 Acres of private trails in Conifer, CO

Visit our enchanted forest in the mountains! Update Feb 2026 - Trails are open! If there is snow, you’ll need a 4x4 vehicle for the roads and driveway. We have 15 acres of trails (2 miles of different trail loops) running through our property, including a narrow seasonal stream that runs strong in the spring. We use the trails for dog walking, hiking, and mountain biking. May-September we have tons of hummingbirds zipping through the property. The trails are considered intermediate: easy in parts, and intermediate in parts, with uneven Colorado rocky terrain. The trails wind up and down the side of a mountain and empty into the forest and the meadows. There are inclines and declines. This property is not for everyone - it’s very natural. The trails are in great condition and it beautiful, but there is a wild element to it similar to any park in the area. WINTER: We try to keep the trails available in the winter for snowy hikes - you'll need a 4x4 vehicle for roads and driveway. The sun can warm the snowy tails up quickly so we suggest bringing a towel for snowy days. The meadow has a couple of icy spots where the snow doesn’t melt as quickly, but you can easily walk around these small areas of the trail. The pups are welcome to dig on the side/back of shed and the fire pit.

Country Run's Private Ranch is 58 acres located just shy of one mile off of Highway 285 off of Pleasant Park Road. An amazing location - a hidden gem. As you walk from the parking area along the path, the property opens up into a beautiful aspen forest with wooden benches and a large meadow. Half way down the meadow on the left (west) side is a small riparian area with Alder trees - the beginning of several spring fed creeks. The hillside on the east side of the property offers rock outcroppings, large rock benches and 360 views. Our dogs thoroughly enjoy their time here and we hope your dog does, too! Depending on the time of year, the spring fed area can be muddy, an old towel is recommended for the drive home. This property is perfect for dog walks, picnics and celebrations. Mountain Paradise

Take a lovely walk in the woods with your dog, let them sniff and enjoy nature. Three acres of forest, fully fenced for your enjoyment. This is not the average suburban development -- this is more like hiking in the National Forest. Lots of squirrels to chase, sniffs to enjoy and hills to run up and down. You won't have any issues with dogs or people on adjacent properties! This property is surrounded by National Forest and unfenced/unused private property. In addition, you have another acre for agility, complete with jumps, tunnels, dog walk, a-frame, teeter, etc. All high end equipment. The running surface is flat & covered with wood chips. The course is changed every Monday morning. Course maps are in the box hanging on the entrance gate. The wood chips are all from local trees, so no worries about added chemicals, etc. Several seating areas are provided, along with a picnic table.

Large area of grass & plants. Fully fenced even with chicken wires. Message once here, we will open the gate, close it during your time, then open again when you’re ready to leave. Come in & park behind the garage door. We occasionally have wildlife so you may see some wildlife- especially elk dropping around. I regularly clean the backyard but I cannot get rid of every single pellet. Have fun!
