***CLOSED FOR THE SEASON*** (Opening again in April 2025 (weather/conditions pending) I ❤️ my Beagle/Lab cross Clover, and our lovely Village of Lakefield. With great walking trails, open fields and dog friendly swimming access on the Otonabee River; all within 5 minutes of my property. Or rather; Clover's PAW-some 🐾 Agility FUN Park, that is! Which, though not fenced, is half surrounded by a thick cedar hedge, has more than 15' of property line trees/lilac hedge, two 8' wide sheds and our 20' wide garage surrounding the back yard and agility course. Complete with: -2 tunnels, with sand/weighted bags -Teeter totter (about 18" at middle, 7' long) -Bridge/dog walk (about 26" high, 10' long) -7 adjustable height jumps -1 hoop/ jump -Set of 6 weave polls -Set of 4 weave polls -Pylons AND, of course, dog toys! Please DO NOT move the bridge/ dog walk. It is in a fixed location. All other equipment can be adjusted or moved to meet guests wants/ needs. We only ask that you do so with care. Please park on the right side of the driveway, and DO NOT block the left garage door, or single lane way.

The back fencing is rail with livestock paneling behind it (just not visible) I have a deaf 20 lb mini aussie who is an escape artist and she has not been able to get out. However I cannot guarantee or be held responsible as anything is possible so please use at your own risk.

We live on 100 acres of mixed forest and pasture. In summer the fields grow hay so we walk around the perimeter of the fields. In winter we keep a path cleared through the field to the forest trail. You can walk, snowshoe or ski with your dog(s).

IMPORTANT: all prices listed are in USD and guests will be charged in USD Hi there! 🥰 Please note, we are working on fixing up the property since moving in & the ice storm that took down several trees in our yard. The dock is in need of repair at the moment so please take caution while standing on it ⚠️ The property goes until it hits water on all north sides of the property which includes in the spring and summer a very muddy marsh area that dogs love running through. Please bring your own towels & prepare for a muddy happy dog! The sheds on property are off limits & should not be entered. We kindly ask the you stoop and scoop after your dog as we have kiddos that play in the backyard from time to time. There are fences on both sides of the yard, however not on the side where the road is but when further down the property you’re unable to see the road. I am happy to provide a 60’ lead for your dog if needed for recall. I do have 3 dogs on the property however when there is a booking they will be inside. I have two reactive dogs, so please do not come onto the property without a booking. To get to the backyard, you will park in the driveway on the left & walk through the car port. Please have your dog on leash until through the car port as it’s close to the road. We are working on getting a riding lawn mower as ours is currently broken so bare with us on the grass. There are several toys in the backyard in a chuck it bucket it for dogs to play with, please note that the chuck it balls with the holes do not float and are quite hard to retrieve due to the mud from the shoreline, so take caution if your dog will drop it in the water. 💧 There are cameras on the house for security purposes. If you have any questions, please don’t hesitate to reach out.

Welcome to Beaverton's Dog Trails! Please access the trails from Concession 6. Punch these coordinates into Google Maps: 44.4415942, -79.1065234. There is a SniffSpot Sign at the entrance. You may park in the private driveway. Rubber boots are recommended! Please pick up after your dog, there is a waste bin at the entrance. Please help yourself to a laminated map at the entrance and return after your walk. The map is posted throughout the trails with "you are here" symbols to help you navigate the trails. There is also bug spray in the cabinet at the trail entrance. If trails are blocked off with caution tape, they are temporarily closed. Enjoy your visit!
