Welcome to the Hive's Sniffspot! We have just about a half acre of completely fenced in yard for you and your pups to enjoy with grass, trees, lots of great sniffs, toys, and room to run!
You and your pupper can play fetch, frisbee, and tug. You can tease your pupper with our flirt pole or maybe you want to just relax on our covered porch, rocking the time away while your BFF explores the yard! We have squirrels to chase, fresh water to drink, a hose to spray your pup down with, a sprinkler and/or pupper pool to frolic in on those hot summer days, and a towel to dry them off with! We even have a huge sandbox for sanctioned digging!
The queen of our hive is our 2 year old pibble mix, Sophie, who (on request) can be invited to come out and play with your pupper -- after a proper introduction, of course! Our Sophie loves her yard, and we are so excited to be able to share it with you and your pup! If we are home and you'd like a pitcher of filtered ice water and glasses, just message us and we will be happy to have it waiting for you! We want to make sure that you and your pups feel comfortable and at home!

We are happy to share our space with your pups!
We have a spacious, secure private fenced and peaceful yard, in a quiet and dog friendly neighborhood. Easy parking on the street outside the house, and a side entry gate.
Patio heater available during the colder months. Our yard has sunny areas, as well as plenty of trees providing natural shade and much needed coolness during those hot humid summer days. A natural wooded yard that borders a county park on one side, with a 7ft wooden privacy fence all the way around the property, the front and neighbor side sections are double sided, so a perfect solution for reactive pups and a side entry gate.
Completely pesticide/herbicide/fertilizer free yard! Our ground cover is soft playground wood chips, soft for all pup paws, specifically designed to be comfortable for all kinds of furbabies! The playground chips are a natural tick repellent.
We are open during rainy weather too for those of you with rain loving pups! The overhangs, patio umbrella and tree coverage keep paw parents dry too! Added bonuses, the chips dry quickly, there's no mud or slippery grass.
You can also enjoy a deck with a patio table, cushioned chairs, lawn chair seating and a hammock! We also provide poop bags, doggie wipes and towels, extra dog water bowls, kiddie pools and outdoor spigot with hose for water bowl refills or hose play in the warmer months, elevated feeders for the pups who cannot bend down very well to drink and a few refreshments for humans too!
Endless amounts of smells and sniffing opportunities from all the local wildlife that frequent our yard. Good space for running, playing chase, frisbee, tennis ball, chuck it, for the energetic pups, and plenty of space for meandering, or just lounging around under the shade or in sun spots for the more mature pups!
The public park next to us has several wooded trails, so if your pup has any energy left, it is a nice park to walk.
**Our priority is opening up our space for your furbabies to enjoy to their heart's content. If you need to bring your human children too, please make sure they are well behaved, respectful of our property and possessions, and under your mature supervision at all times!
Smoking, vaping, alcohol and glass containers are NOT permitted at our spot.
All 100% of booking proceeds are donated to rescue groups saving neglected/abused/sick/healthy unwanted pets dumped in overcrowded high kill shelters - including recurring monthly donations to Pets With Disabilities; Lizzy's Lodge Rescue; Miri's Legacy; Angel's Among Us Pet Rescue; Shadows Sanctuary; Southside SPCA; HART; and Lost Dog & Cat Rescue Foundation.

Arrival Notes:
• Parking: Please park along the right hand side of the house.
• Dog Etiquette: Kindly keep your dogs leashed and off the front lawn. They can relieve themselves in the designated circle or elsewhere if necessary, but please minimize their presence on the front lawn.
• Dog Waste: Dispose of all bagged dog waste in the trash can with the black lid in front of the garage before leaving.
• Entrance and Exit: Access the field from either the path behind the garage or the gravel path on the right hand side of the driveway. The side yard next to the garage is off-limits.
• Supplies: Dog bags are available in the boxes attached to the fence. There is a water bowl next to the hose bib for your convenience. Additionally, a picnic table, chairs, bug spray, and hand sanitizer are provided for your use.
• Further Exploration: At the bottom of the stairs, another single gate with more dog bags provides access to the field, creek, and wooded walk. Please leash your dogs beyond this point unless they have excellent recall. Wildlife such as deer, foxes, raccoons, rabbits, hawks, and even beavers may be encountered.
• Paths: To the left, a path leads through the woods, up the hill, and around the garage. On the right-hand side of the field, a gravel path leads back up to the driveway. You are welcome to explore the property with your dog(s).
Description:
• Property Overview: The property spans five acres and includes half an acre of fully fenced lawn, wooded paths, and an open field bordered by Popes Head Creek. Dogs enjoy running and playing off-leash in the fenced lawn area, and there are designated spots like a fire hydrant in the pea gravel area and a sandbox for their use. The creek offers a refreshing spot for dogs to explore and cool off. The property also provides numerous picturesque opportunities in all seasons.
Dog Toys:
• You are welcome to use the toys I just ask that you return them before you leave.
Dog Limitations:
• Limit: We allow up to 4 dogs per reservation. If you wish to bring more or arrange a play date, please contact us to discuss it.
Vehicle Limitations:
• Vehicles: Each reservation allows a maximum of 2 vehicles. If you plan to bring a third vehicle, please add "Extra - Extra Vehicle" to your reservation and inform us to ensure adequate space.
Child Supervision:
• Children: Children under 18 must be supervised at all times. Parents are liable for any damage caused by their children.
Sniffspot Guest Waiver and Release:
• Waiver: Before using our spot, please review and accept our Sniffspot Guest Waiver and Release, effective from your first booking or use.

We have somewhere between a third to a half acre in our backyard, fully enclosed with a 5 to 7-ft wood fence. We have shady spots, but there also aren't too many trees, so there is plenty of room to play fetch and run around.
Amenities include two different size jumps, a spring-loaded tug rope attached to a tree, a small dog tunnel, furniture on the lower deck for you to sit down, a hammock, and a trampoline.
