55Perfect to throw around the frisbee with my high jumping and high energy 55 pound dog! My 13 pound fur baby was also secured in and I didn’t worry about her finding a way out. Comfy chairs and quiet neighborhood!
55Megan’s spot was great! It was equal parts sunny and shady in mid-afternoon, which was nice. It was a large space, clean, and most importantly, had plenty for my pup Dixie to sniff!
55Perfect and a beautiful yard! This is what every Sniffspot should aspire to be! The tall wooden fence makes it private and cozy. It was quiet and it doesn’t even feel like you’re so close to the heart of downtown Nashville. It’s perfect for escape artists (very important to me!) and impeccably clean. It was fully fenced with absolutely no gaps whatsoever for small or big dogs. I walked the whole fence. My dog loved it and I also appreciated the chairs we sat in while our dog played. I didn’t see or hear any other dogs/animals or people from the spot. While we didn’t meet the owner, she is friendly and responsive to messages. She even made this cute little sign welcoming us to the Sniffspot! There was a ton of street parking available so parking is not intimidating. No need to worry about parallel parking or finding a spot. I just pulled right up to the house by the curb and the gate was so easy to use. This is a top spot. I love how they only require 1 hours notice here and it’s so quick and easy to book. The rate is reasonable so I’ll be sure to bring back my furry friends. Your dogs will love it! I highly recommend this Sniffspot! ☺️
55So fun!!! thank you so much again. we will be back :)
55Beautiful yard and always will maintained. Perfect size for the dogs to run around with plenty of shade as well. There is also a water spigot, so you never have to worry about running out of water!
55Easy to access and fun spot to run around!
55A great yard as always and so appreciate the welcome sign.
55Really lovely spot!
55AMAZING space! Quiet, shaded, easy to find, and great touch with our names on the gate! Will be coming back very soon!
55Nice quiet yard, grass was perfect. Host communicated perfectly. Would recommend.

Description

Hi there! I’m Megan and I 💕 dogs. My spot is a block from Starbucks & Publix (fantastic deli). My backyard is half shaded and half sunny with lush grass, 8ft fencing, a double gate, and huge with lots of area to explore. I’ve updated the seating with four modern adirondack chairs & two beverage tables September 2024. Enjoy the shade from the large mature trees and relax & enjoy playing with your pup! Check out this cute video a guest took at our spot-it was featured on the Sniffspot Accounts page! https://www.instagram.com/reel/C7b1-byuTCJ/?igsh=YXR1dXNmMndvMjBm

Cleanliness

Extras

Large Kiddie Pool$16

Enjoy allowing pup play time in the large kiddie pool. This pool is big enough for you to get in too. At roughly 4x more water volume than the Little Tikes Turtle Water Soak it’s sure to be a blast. Willow the black lab is 50lbs and you can see her in the optional water pools having a pup tastic time. The pool will be available for you to fill beside the hose. Bring along a towel or two. I will empty the pool at the conclusion of your visit ☺️

Little Tikes Turtle Water Soak$10

Give your pup water fun time! The Little Tikes Turtle Water Soak with lid will be available for you to fill beside the hose. Enjoy taking super cute photos of all the fun. Place lid securely on top and I will empty it for you at the conclusion of your visit☺️ Don’t forget a towel or two.

October 1, 2024 - Our SniffSpot is open! *********************** See you Fall 2024! We have closed the spot to allow a medical foster in our home to go through extensive heartworm treatment. We will be keeping her quiet and calm, as required for heartworm protocol, so that she will be healthy and ready for adoption in September! Our Spot will open again October 1, 2024! ******************** Welcome! Your fee is 100% donated to Critter Calvary Rescue of Williamson County, in memory of our dogs in my pictures, who have passed away of old age. We have 2 areas for your dog! Front yard with Iron Fence and human seating! Back yard with chain link fence and human seating - and a deck with seating! The back yard is mostly dirt and on a hill, with some ground leaves and grass. If you wish a flat yard with lush grass, we highly suggest booking a grass SniffSpot, Ashley's SniffSpot at https://www.sniffspot.com/listings/nashville-tn/ashley-s-private-nations-dog-park-53368 which is just a mile from our SniffSpot! Another flat spot with grass is https://www.sniffspot.com/listings/nashville-tn/thomas-s-private-dog-park-in-nashville-77729 Spring 2023: a few guests found small shards in our Sniffspot. We have taken this very seriously, and have landscaping pros inspecting each day to remove hazards. Our research found that the families in the 1950's would burn their trash in the back yard, so the shards have emerged in the dirt surrounding our older home. We are digging and removing these each week.

DISCOUNTED HOURLY RATE? MEMBERSHIPS AVAILABLE! If you visit often, like many do, consider savings of becoming a member and enjoy a discounted hourly rate. Whether you're a member or not, After the first dog, all dogs are always 50% off the hourly rate! Members also enjoy the multi dog 50% benefit in addition to discounted lower hourly rates! Stack discounts! The savings add up! 👍 We hope you will visit Nashville's very first Sniffspot and the most popular Sniffspot in middle Tennessee to this day! Read on for details … we love sharing our secret place! This Sniffspot is very conveniently located in southeast Nashville, 20 minutes from downtown, right near Bell Rd/Nolensville Rd between the Hickory Hollow pkwy/Tanger Outlets i24 and Bell Rd exits and the Brentwood i65 Old Hickory Blvd exit. An idyllic setting offers 7+ park-like acres of old farm land, mostly fenced, that includes waterfront access to Mill Creek with adventures for all kinds of humans and dogs to enjoy activities like playing, running, sniffing, digging and playing in the water. Come get your steps in and spend some quality off-leash time! Training, photo shoots, picnics, birthday and gotcha parties, just explore, rest, or relax in the Adirondack chairs while your dogs sniff, zoom, roam, retrieve, sniff, dig, walk, run, and sniff some more. There's creek access to swim, pastures to nap, play areas of tall grass the dogs can explore, dig or derp around. Even plan your picnic on a blanket or use the picnic table. Get some exercise on the trampoline (Note: use at your own risk!). Make this sniffspot your private oasis for as long as you want.. Kids are always welcome! Just book your play time, bring at least one dog and all humans are free! Mill Creek borders the very back of the property and is available for water play but trees and vegetation and overall acreage makes it easily avoidable if that's not your thing. If you choose to venture to the creek and have a runner, you may want to bring a long lead. The water levels are usually below the knee, but the ability to use Mill Creek safely depends on you, the creek conditions, and amount of recent rainfall. Always assess the abilities of you and your pets- as safety comes first! As Dirty Harry once said, "A man's got to know his limitations." The majority of the property has fencing so once you pass the house on your way to the back fields it's off leash play time! I recommend consider walking the perimeter first (on or off leash) to orient yourself with property features and assess potential escape opportunities. Your dog(s) will benefit from a perimeter walk allowing them to visually identify, mark their spots, and collect sniffs while at the same time reaping the benefit of your pack leaving an invisible "bread crumb" scent trail as you walk which will assist a dog with future identification of the established boundaries as well. This is a natural instinct for many breeds. Note that Mill Creek along the back of the entire property is not fenced but it is mostly obscured at dogs level by trees and vegetation. Tip: When leaving, you may want to leash up before you reach the house - especially if you have a runner since there is no fence on the side of the house you enter and leave the spot. Depending on the water table, there is also a small feeder stream gently flowing through the middle of the property between the side and back fields. It can be great fun for a dog to explore and jump in and out of (just try and stop them!) And great for smaller dogs if Mill Creek is too intimidating. Hint: bring towels! The mature tree lines always provide plenty of shade for those hot summer months. Several foot bridges are available to cross over that small stream between the side and back fields while exploring, and you might even find the occasional old fashioned rope wood swing. 7Acres Challenge: See if you can find the hidden steps! A black hose with spray wand attachment is hanging by the house at the entrance/exit if you need to rinse you or your pet. Another green hose is available hanging on the opposite corner in the back of the house by the BACK garage door for your use along with a water bowl. Feel free to pick yourself wildflowers if they are blooming (late Spring/Summer Varieties), or snack on some blackberries off the fence line if you happen to come while they are ripening (usually mid-June to mid-July).... Bug spray is always recommended spring through fall, Just in case! You can't have all this nature without all the nature. 😉 If the calendar shows the time slot you want is available then book it and it's yours! Be last minute, that's fine! Be spontaneous, that's great! No advanced notice required. (2 hour minimum cancellation required.) Did I mention memberships? 😉Lower the hourly rate with a monthly membership!! Up to 30% off the hourly rate! A great way to be rewarded if you regularly visit or want to help support your favorite spot. Whether you have a membership or not, Multiple dog discounts really add up! All dogs after the first dog are 50% off the hourly rate!
