Description

Lucky Dog Fosters Inc. is a certified 501(c)(3) non-profit located in Pearland Texas. We have a sizeable half acre backyard for your dog(s) to enjoy privately which includes fresh drinking water, a water hose for bathing, a kiddie pool to play and keep cool, a tree swing for the humans to relax on, and much more. Enjoy scenic views, a wildflower meadow, stroll through the garden and under the trellis and maybe even spot a bald eagle or other birds. We have some really great extra available too! All proceeds from our booking goes directly into our non-profit to help rescue, rehabilitate and re-home abused and neglected dogs. www.luckydogfosters.org

We have some very happy hens. When the sniff spot is not in use our ladies enjoy free ranging the entire yard. We have several different breeds so we get quite the variety of egg colors, Blue, Brown , Tan, Pink, Green and White. You can really see and taste the difference of Fresh laid eggs.

Kiddie Pool and Towels2 credits

Let your Pet Cool off in a kiddie pool, filled with fresh water ahead of your visit. Let your dog or dogs splash and play and when they are done feel free to give them a bath and dry off with the two clean provided towels.

The following rules apply: We will be present for all new guests. For times/dates where one of us cannot be here, we will book case by case. No feeding or harassing the chickens through the fence. No digging in the yard. No moving items other than chairs, water bowls and kiddie pool. No access to the house, chicken run or shed without prior approval. No chewing on structures, water hoses, or any other items not intended to be chewed on. Any damages from visiting dogs must be identified promptly so can work to repair or replace items.

When you book "The Back 40" you have access to the original, smaller, The Mannerly Dog Sniffspot, so no one will be using it while you're here! You'll still have your own private dog park, just a bigger one. You will not see us or our dogs. One neighbor has chickens - they are catty-corner to The Back 40, in the rear. They are in a pen and may cluck or crow at times. the yard catty-corner on the other side occasionally has a couple of dogs in it, but it's pretty rare - it could happen though. You might see or hear humans on the other side of the wooden fence that runs the full 300 feet along the side of both Sniffspots. Otherwise, the area is serene and quiet with plenty of squirrels and birds. Sit and rest or play with your dog - either way, we hope you enjoy your visit!
